Chapter 14 - An irresistible scene. Is this heaven?

The morning sun warmed the windows of the Elowen Crest villa. Ethan blinked awake in a bed that felt far too luxurious for someone who had spent most of his life scraping by.

He stretched, feeling sore in all the right places. Yesterday had been mentally draining for him. So he decided to rest at his villa. He already told his parents that he is going to stay at his friend's home.

Back home, his parents stared at the text in disbelief.

"A friend?" his mom gasped.

His dad nearly dropped his teacup.

"Our gloomy son… made friends?"

Meanwhile Ethan, after arriving at his villa , went straight to his room for sleep. Mei and Lily asked him to eat with them, but he said he had eaten with his friends.

But now after waking up,the system screen greeted him.

"AAAAHHHH!"

Lily's scream shook the hallway. He ran outside.

"What happened?!"

Both Mei and Lily were standing before the wardrobe, pale-faced.

"It's gone!" Mei cried.

 "All of it!" Lily shouted.

"Wait... what's gone?"

"The clothes!" Mei looked like she was about to cry. "Did someone rob you?!"

"I…" Ethan was tempted to laugh. "There was nothing here to begin with. I didn't even buy anything."

They stared at him like he'd confessed to a crime. Then, at once—

"We're going shopping."

He wanted to say no, but seeing their excitement.

"Fine.."

A few minutes later, Ethan pulled out the keys of his car.He wanted to test his perfect driving, but it was a two seater, so he dropped the idea instantly. The women stared at him.

"We will book a cab."

An hour later, they arrived at Orion Grand Mall, the most luxurious shopping complex in the city. The cab dropped them off near the central fountain surrounded by luxury sports cars and high-profile security.

As they stepped out of the cab, they were greeted by blinding LED billboards, massive luxury cars, and a crowd dressed to impress. LED screens and digital billboards lit up the sky. Wealth dripped from the architecture. Marble floors. Gold-trimmed columns.

Ethan, in a hoodie and jeans, stuck out like a sore thumb. Mei and Lily were dressed casually too.

His eyes wandered to a massive rotating billboard that flashed through the Top 5 Romance Bestsellers:

1:All my Lycan fiances are masochists

2:Let me rest: Isekai Reverse harem with my alpha werewolves

3:I'm so sexy that my eunuch harem turned to

4:Billionaire step brother, Don't Lick My Tears Again!

5:All the Emperors are after me, but I'm a man.

And then came the Top 5 Fantasy Bestsellers:

1:Ultimate Tycoon: Building The Richest Empire With System and Heroines

2:Gooner's Reincarnation: Furry harem is the way to go

3:Transmigrated to a hentai world with a 20 inch middle leg.

4:9999 Gacha Pulls: Banging All the Hot Milfs.

5:Brothel Owner's two seconds, Master of rough thrust.

Ethan stared at the list and muttered, "And they say literature is dead…"

Mei and Lily were too starstruck by the glass-domed ceiling and shiny boutiques to hear him.

They stepped into one boutique where silk gowns hung like museum pieces.

Mei wandered toward a sexy crimson-red dress on a gold mannequin. She wasn't going to try it — just admire it.

But then came a screech.

"You! Don't touch that!"

A woman in a leopard-print designer coat stormed over, clutching the arm of her obese, sweaty husband.

"That's our dress!" the woman yelled.

"You dirty commoner!" the assistant beside her snapped, looking Mei up and down. "With your cheap dress? You think you're worthy of this?"

Mei stepped back, flustered. She was on the verge of crying. "I wasn't— I mean— I didn't—"

"She can't afford a sleeve of that dress," the woman snorted.

Just then, Ethan walked up casually, Lily was also with him.

"How much is that dress?" he asked.

The rude assistant sneered. "More than your net worth."

The man laughed. "You don't even deserve to stand in this store."

The leopard-print woman flicked her hair. "Someone call security."

But before it escalated, the manager walked in with another assistant, a soft-spoken girl with a professional smile.

The manager frowned at Ethan, clearly assuming he was poor. "Sir, let's not make a scene. Perhaps you should leave."

Ethan's smile dropped. "I'll buy the dress… at double the price."

Silence.

"…What?" the rude assistant said.

The man laughed. "Buy it then. Double price! And if you do, I'll kneel and apologize to her."

"You too," Ethan said, looking at the woman. "Both of you kneel and say sorry."

The woman rolled her eyes. "Fine, whatever. Let's see you pay."

The manager looked stunned. "Sir, the original price is $20,000"

Ethan pulled out his Card. Tap.

Transaction Approved.

Everyone froze.

Ethan turned with a flat expression. "Go ahead."

The husband hesitated, so Ethan casually kicked his calf.

WHUMP.

"SORRY!" the man screamed, kneeling.

The woman tried to slip away, but Ethan stepped in front of her. "Where do you think you're going?"

"You can't hit a woman!" she barked.

Ethan's eyes narrowed. "Who said you were a woman? You're a gorilla in heat."

Then, a kick to the ankle.

She dropped like a sack of money.

"Sorry!" she squealed, tears in her eyes.

The store was dead silent.

As the couple scrambled away, the rude assistant tried to change sides , grabbed Etan's arm, her chest pressing against his hand.

"Oh sir~ Let me guide you personally. I know all our VIP collection—"

Ethan gently pulled his arm free.

"Begone, thot."

He turned to the other assistant, the one who came with the manager. "You help us instead."

She bowed politely. "Of course, sir."

Inside the Private fitting room for them, Mei decided to try the red dress. Lily also decided to try some dresses.

Ethan stood outside. Suddenly the assistant ran towards him." Sir, could please go inside? It seems they were asking something, all the other assistants were busy and I needed to use the bathroom urgently."

"Sure," he replied.

A few minutes later, she opened the door, thinking only Lily and the assistant were outside.

Ethan stood right there.

The dress was clearly made to seduce. Thin shoulder straps. High slit. Low neckline. The fabric clung tightly, hugging her curves. Her chest—soft, round, slightly compressed—threatened to spill out with every breath.

"KYAAA! YOU PERVERT!" Mei screamed.

Ethan backed up with a nosebleed.

But fate wasn't done with him yet.

Right behind him, Lily opened her own fitting room door while calling, "Mom, are you—"

 She wasn't dressed.

A lacy loose innerwear robe hung off her shoulders, revealing long, creamy thighs, delicate collarbones, and a teasing glimpse of her voluptuous figure. Her ample chest, barely contained by a thin strap, bounced slightly as she turned, her hand holding up a second bra like she was deciding between two options.

She froze.

He froze.

The world froze.

Lily's face turned red instantly. "E-Ethan?!"

"I-I didn't see anything!" Ethan lied shamelessly, eyes wide, nose on the verge of another geyser.

With a panicked shriek, Lily threw the bra in her hand like a grenade. It smacked Ethan right in the face.

Thwap!

Then Ethan saw heaven. Two stunning women. One dressed to kill, the other barely dressed at all. One young and ravishing, the other mature and dangerously soft.

Mei and Lily quickly closed the door.

But it was too late.

That image… both mother and daughter, standing side-by-side in those clothes… it was forever etched in his soul.

"Worth it," he whispered faintly

At the door the assistant woman was laughing like a maniac," I hope he gives me some extra after this."

Later, the awkward silence followed them all the way to the men's section. Lily's face was redder than a ripe tomato. Mei refused to look at Ethan directly. To break the tension, Ethan said, "Help me pick a few things?"

They nodded quickly.

He bought a sharp midnight-blue casual suit, a few quality shirts, and a designer onyx-black wristwatch with a golden crown logo and sapphire crystal face. Sleek, classy, and powerful.

At checkout, he pulled the assistant aside — the quiet one who helped them.

"This is for your trouble," he said," Thanks for the great work you did there."

She giggled. She saw an extra $10,000.

Her eyes went wide. "T-Thank you, sir!"

As they left the boutique, Ethan grinned at the two flustered women beside him.

"Ice cream?" he asked.

Mei blushed and nodded.

Lily didn't look at him, but she answered softly "Fine…"

The three walked out under the giant digital sky dome of Orion Grand Mall. Both women went back to normal, quietly enjoying their ice cream.

Ethan? He was thinking of checking out that novel.

"Brothel Owner's two seconds, Master of rough thrust." sounded like a masterpiece.
