Frost trailed behind her boots as she stepped forward, her breath visible in the forming cold.
"Ready since day one," Lily replied coolly, her icy aura humming with restrained power.
Above them, the glass observation deck flickered with excited spectators.
Leo, Amy, Jeasus, and Jade leaned forward, watching every twitch of movement.
Behind them stood the originals: Harry Freeman and James Conrad, both grinning.
