Just an Ordinary Su Mo
As an ordinary human, this version of Su Mo was naturally no match for the two "big shots."
Almost instantly, Campione Su Mo and Ultraman Tiga Su Mo arrived in his mindspace.
But what they found surprised them—this newcomer only had the mental and physical strength of a normal human being. So weak, it was barely perceptible.
"Another ordinary-person start, huh?"
Tiga Su Mo stroked his chin thoughtfully. He didn't seem too surprised. Among the four of them, only Fairy Tail Su Mo had started with power; the others all began as regular people.
And yet, look at them now—didn't they still manage to become the powerful beings they were today?
"So… what world did you transmigrate into?" asked Campione Su Mo with curiosity.
"Uh…" The new Su Mo, who had just arrived in the world of Teyvat, looked confused for a moment. Then, as he absorbed the sudden influx of information in his mind, realization hit him.
"My golden finger… it actually came through?!"
Then he felt it—raw, immense power coursing through his body. And he was stunned.
"Wait, I'm already at max level from the start?!"
Now, Teyvat wasn't exactly a high-power world. The mysterious Heavenly Principles aside, the power level of the gods shown in the lore already gave a decent idea of the world's limits.
Morax had carved Guyun Stone Forest into existence and smashed open the Chasm.
Barbatos could flatten mountains and alter Mondstadt's climate.
At that scale, they weren't far behind the gods from the Campione world.
Given his current strength—bolstered by two Authorities —Teyvat Su Mo realized he could probably rival, if not surpass, the Seven Archons… and that was without even resorting to his Tiga form.
For now, at least until the endgame, this strength would more than suffice.
The Four Winds, the Fatui… none of them could stop him anymore.
With that comforting thought, Su Mo finally relaxed.
At least now, he wouldn't have to worry about being powerless and unable to take part in the journey.
Once calm, he responded to Campione Su Mo's question.
"I transmigrated into Teyvat. It's been only a month so far."
"What? Teyvat?!"
Campione Su Mo was visibly startled.
Tiga Su Mo widened his eyes too.
"Did you meet Ganyu? What about Keqing? Is the Electro element still weak like in the game? Does Keqing-sama still tickle enemies with her damage output?"
He fired off a barrage of questions.
"..."
Genshin Su Mo was speechless.
"I want to know those too, okay?! But I've only been in this world a month. Other than Lumine and Paimon, I haven't seen anyone else yet!"
"Wait… you're still before the main plot even starts?" Tiga Su Mo looked disappointed.
Then, something clicked.
"Hold on! You said you're with Lumine? So your version of the world has her as the protagonist? That's some serious luck!"
In the game, players could choose between the brother Aether or the sister Lumine as the protagonist.
Back in his previous life, Su Mo had played both versions. But as a guy, he naturally felt more drawn to Lumine.
After all, she was seriously beautiful.
And yes… Su Mo was a bit of a simp.
"Yeah, I guess I did get lucky," Genshin Su Mo nodded. "Good thing I got my cheat now—otherwise, as an ordinary guy, I probably wouldn't have even gotten involved in the story."
The golden finger had arrived just in time.
Sure, a little earlier would've been even better—he wouldn't have had to walk so far and rely on Lumine to care for him.
Still, that tough journey had helped them build deep trust, so it wasn't all bad.
"The main plot… if I remember correctly, it's about the sister searching for her brother," Campione Su Mo mused. "Aether even said later that he'd wait until Lumine finished her journey through the Seven Nations, until she had grown through her own experiences, before they'd reunite."
"In that case," he smirked, "won't you be giving your brother-in-law quite the surprise?"
Campione Su Mo's cheeky remark made Genshin Su Mo cover his face in embarrassment.
"Seriously? Brother-in-law? We haven't even started dating! Lumine and I are just… pure traveling companions!"
"'Pure traveling companions'?" Campione Su Mo raised a brow and turned to Tiga Su Mo.
"You buy that?"
"Not a chance," Tiga Su Mo shook his head immediately. "Do you?"
"Not even a little," Campione Su Mo replied flatly.
"No normal guy travels around talking about 'pure companionship' with a girl like that!"
"Exactly. You're obviously just thirsty for her!" "Shameless!" they said in unison.
"..."
Genshin Su Mo sighed and raised both hands in surrender.
"Fine! I admit it! I am thirsty for her. But at least I'm honest. That should count for something!"
The other two nodded approvingly at his confession.
"Not bad. Truly me—honest and dependable, a man of virtue."
"Exactly. Never a liar—pure and righteous."
Genshin Su Mo realized then… maybe the other versions of himself were a bit thick-skinned?
Still, considering the power they brought along, a bit of shamelessness was a small price to pay.
"No doubt about it—I'm just too damn strong."
He grinned and joined in the self-praise.
Clearly, no matter the world, all Su Mos shared one common trait.
