The air hummed with rustling energy as Lyra lunged at Aria. Aria quickly dodged but stumbled back, struggling to catch her breath.
"You do not belong here, and you never have, you omega!" Lyra shouted, her voice filled with anger. Her golden-brown eyes burned with something Aria couldn't figure out, but one thing she knew was that Lyra had completely lost her sanity.
Aria tightened her grip on the bone dagger. She paused, feeling uncertain about what to do, but she knew she had to fight if she wants to survive. The dagger felt warm in her hand, almost alive, as if it was urging her to take action.
Lyra charged at her once more, and this time, Aria didn't hesitate, she struck.
The dagger did not just slice, it sang.
Suddenly, the bone blade lit up, an eerie blue flame flickering along its edge, old runes sparkled across the blade, spiraling outwards as if it knew who it was truly meant for.
Lyra screamed, not in pain, but in shock.
