The fight was intense.
So much so, the ground rumbled as if giants were dancing upon it.
The two anomalies moved from pillar to post, at speeds no normal human could perceive.
Though, it was mostly Yam cutting down the Blue Beast—and it, trying futilely to retaliate.
As it stood, it was a stalemate:
Yam had enough power to fight the Aggressive Predator, but not enough to kill it.
And the Aggressive Predator had enough vitality and durability to withstand Yam's relentless onslaught.
But then Yam smirked and bent very low, both swords angled behind him.
"Hehe!" he chuckled.
"If I can't find your core, then I'll just render the whole of you to shreds!"
As expected from the infamous Shredder—the man who once turned a Kaiju into fine mist within seconds.
In the next moment, it was as if Yam's very existence had blurred.
But no—he was just that fast.
However, just as he was about to make contact—
CLANG!
A sharp sound—like steel on steel—rang out.
