Li Chan looks at his phone screen and says with slight irritation,
"It's already 8 o'clock... they said the car would arrive by 7:30."
Just then, his eyes fall on a white truck heading straight toward him. Seeing the truck's gleam and its fiery speed, a slight sense of relief appears on Li Chan's face.
"Looks like it's here," he says softly, as if to himself.
The truck stops right in front of him. The next moment, the cabin door opens, and Fiya jumps out with a smile, her eyes reflecting both professionalism and a hint of excitement.
"Hello, Young Master! Good morning!" she says,
"Sorry... the car was quite expensive, so we drove it slowly... didn't want any damage."
Hearing this, Li Chan gives a slight smile and shows a thumbs-up, saying,
"No problem. Safe delivery was important."
Just then, a middle-aged man emerges from the back of the truck, his clothes exuding the professionalism of a showroom. He opens the truck's rear counter gate and respectfully says,
"Young Master, please take a look."
Li Chan moves toward it, hands in his pockets, and says,
"Alright."
As soon as Li Chan reaches the rear section of the truck, his eyes fall on the car... and his face changes in an instant.
The car was absolutely dazzling its shiny black body, polished glass, and the light glinting off the logo made it look like a royal beast. Every curve, every edge... it seemed like an example of perfection.
In his mind, Li Chan thinks,
"There was a time when I used to dream just by looking at it... and today, it's mine. This masterpiece is MINE."
His thoughts are interrupted by Fiya's voice as she steps closer and hands him the car key.
"Young Master, here's the key," she says with a slightly proud smile.
Taking the key in his hand, Li Chan says,
"Great!"
Then Fiya explains,
"You can also control the car with this key. It's a smart remote key."
Li Chan looks at the key, as if feeling its design and functionality, and says,
"Really? Let's try it."
He presses a button on the key, and a beep sound follows.
"Let's take it out," he says with enthusiasm.
Then the car starts moving slowly, as if a robot is waking up. With a futuristic hum, the car moves, like a mechanical beast activated by a remote control.
And then... an automated platform slides out from inside the truck, and the car rolls out on its own. Li Chan's eyes widen for a moment, stunned by the sight.
In his mind, he says,
"It feels like I'm driving a giant remote-control car..."
Then Fiya hands him a document and says,
"Sir, please sign here."
Li Chan takes the paper, quickly scans the details written on it, signs with a pen, and says,
"Alright... I'll get going. I have some work to do."
Saying this, Li Chan opens the car door and sits on the soft leather seat. His hands move to the automatic gear shifter, and the Pagani's engine activates with a smooth growl.
Then he drives the car out of the showroom, a different kind of shine in his eyes this car wasn't just a ride, it was a picture of his dreams.
Meanwhile, Mei was standing outside a mall. She was wearing a tight-fit designer shirt that clearly defined her curves. The top button of her shirt had come undone because of her chest, but she didn't notice.
Her face had sleek sunglasses, pink matte lipstick on her lips, and her hair was neatly tied. She stood in a classy yet bold look, as if she were part of a magazine shoot.
Looking at her golden watch with slight irritation, she says,
"Young Master still hasn't arrived..."
Just then, with a loud engine roar, Li Chan stops his Pagani Huayra in front of her. The car's presence was so royal that its arrival changed the air outside the mall.
Rolling down the car window, Li Chan says,
"Sorry... I got a bit delayed. The car was delivered a little late."
Mei, who was staring at the Pagani, thinks to herself:
"This car's price must be at least as much as a mansion... Young Master is really rich."
Then, without saying anything else, she gets into the car, feeling the comfort of the soft leather seat.
"No problem. Let's go, we're getting late," she says in a calm voice.
Hearing this, Li Chan tilts slightly toward her, smiles faintly, and says,
"You're looking quite beautiful... but your appeals are showing."
Hearing this, Mei blushes a little and hurriedly adjusts her shirt, saying,
"Oh! Sorry!"
Seeing her flustered, Li Chan chuckles lightly and says,
"No problem."
Then he shifts the gear and smoothly drives the car toward the Song Hao Group, where they had an important meeting.
Twenty minutes later, Li Chan parks his car in a fixed spot in the underground parking lot of the Song Hao Group.
Turning off the car's engine, both of them head toward the lift lobby.
While standing in front of the lift, Li Chan adjusts his hair a bit. Just then, Mei's phone rings.
She looks at the phone screen, where the caller ID flashes:
"Papa calling..."
She looks at Li Chan and says in a polite tone,
"Young Master, you go ahead... I'll take this call and come."
Li Chan pauses for a moment, then looks at Mei and says,
"Yeah, sure. Take your time."
Mei steps aside to take the call and says,
"Hello, Papa... yes, I'm at the Song Hao Group right now."
Li Chan moves away from her, smiling slightly,
"Well... that's fine too."
Then he enters the lift.
The lift stops at the 6th floor with a ding sound.
Li Chan steps out of the lift and looks toward the hallway, where several people in black uniforms are standing in a line.
As soon as their eyes fall on Li Chan, they all bow together and say,
"Young Master has arrived!"
Li Chan notices that a red carpet is laid out on the floor, and spotlights are set up in the hallway. For a moment, his mind is filled with confusion.
He thinks,
"Is all this happening for me!?"
Just then, a voice comes:
"Young Master has arrived!"
Hearing this, Hao and Liya approaching.
Hao says,
"Where is Young Master?"
Then a security guard points toward Li Chan and says,
"Young Master Hao, there he is!"
Hao's eyes fall on Li Chan, and he immediately says in shock,
"Wait a second... Li Chan?! You're here!?"
