Chapter 30 - Subject of Space-Time

"So, you can't even use it yourself, and you're giving it to me?"

The next day, in the training ground in the central district of Konoha.

Takemi looked at Jiraiya with Kakashi-like eyes, while Jiraiya looked awkward.

He actually didn't want to take on this job at all, but Sarutobi Hiruzen just dumped the task on him and didn't care anymore.

His excuse was: I need to focus my energy on Konoha.

Jiraiya had no choice. He always called Sarutobi Hiruzen 'Old man'. But when something serious happened, he would still do it.

Rubbing his head full of white hair, he chuckled a few times to cover up his emotions, then spoke, "It's not a big deal, just give it a try."

"After all, I couldn't help much when Minato was learning this jutsu, but he still learned it".

"Oh, right, Minato is the Fourth Hokage!"

"But that makes you seem very irresponsible." Takemi said helplessly.

"You clearly promised to teach me, but now you are just throwing this out just for the sake of it, really..."

"Alright, alright, stop talking, stop talking."

Jiraiya also felt a bit embarrassed. He thought for a moment before continuing, "You should study these things carefully first. Whether you learn it or not, I will teach you some special things later!"

Special things?

Takemi raised his eyebrows. The first thing he thought of was Sage Mode!

The effect of Sage Mode was beyond doubt. The last time he ambushed Obito, he used a Shadow Clone to test the effect, and he had to say it was really good.

If Obito hadn't had the Sharingan and dodged quickly, that hit might have been a headshot.

Takemi had naturally wondered how to launder his Sage Mode.

However, he was still a little worried. Who knew if the Great Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku would notice anything?

"Then thank you, Jiraiya-sama."

After thinking about it, he decided to talk about it later. For now, he should thank Jiraiya first.

He didn't want to be questioned "Did you say thank you?" Later.

"Work hard, kid."

Jiraiya nodded in satisfaction, but then he sighed again.

"This jutsu was created by the Second Hokage, but so far, only the Second Hokage and the Fourth Hokage can use it normally. As for the others..."

Speaking of this, Jiraiya shook his head. There was really no need to mention those Anbu members.

However, he didn't want to put too much pressure on Takemi, so he stopped there.

"So don't push yourself too hard, just do it normally."

"Okay, I understand."

Takemi nodded. Looking at the scroll in his hand, he also felt a bit strange.

How little faith did Jiraiya have in him?

"If there's nothing else, I'll go back first."

Jiraiya patted Takemi 's shoulder, then said softly, "Read it carefully. After you finish, the scroll will automatically destroy itself. Don't copy it. If you really can't remember, go find old man, understand?"

"Yes."

Takemi nodded. He understood this rule.

He asked, "Oh, right, how is Kakashi-sensei?"

"Him? Much better, and he's much more clear-headed than I am."

Thinking of Kakashi, Jiraiya couldn't help but shake his head self-deprecatingly.

"But each generation is always stronger than the last. Alright, I will be leaving now."

Waving his hand gently, Jiraiya turned and left gracefully. Takemi also put away the scroll, and muttered to himself, "It seems that transmitting information this way still can't complete the mission. I need to work harder."

Having someone else relay the actual situation of Obito was a kind of attempt.

But unfortunately, the system didn't recognize it, or rather, Kakashi still wanted to confirm it himself.

This was normal. After all, it would be hard for anyone to accept this kind of thing. It's best to confirm it in person.

"Forget it, I should focus on learning what's in my hand. This is a space-time ninjutsu!"

Space-time ninjutsu, this is something probably no one would want to miss.

Admittedly, the Flying Thunder God Technique has many problems, such as needing a mark to teleport, but powerful enemies are not stupid.

Moreover, the reaction speed of true powerhouses is terrifying. Not to mention Madara in the Fourth Great Ninja War, Minato was almost counter-killed by Killer Bee when dealing with the Fourth Raikage and his brother.

But even so, this jutsu is only a matter of whether you can learn it or not, there's no question of whether you want it or not.

"And, it seems that the Ōtsutsuki naturally possess space-time power?" Walking home, Takemi carefully recalled.

There's no need to mention Kaguya. Momoshiki had spatial transfer, although he used it rarely, he did have that ability.

Urashiki had Yomotsu Hirasaka, and even time based techniques like 'rewinding'. As for the strongest Isshiki, there's even a Ten-Tails in his dimension.

"However, is the space-time ability inherent to the Ōtsutsuki once they reach a certain level, or is it given by their kekkei mora?"

Takemi wasn't very clear on this, but no matter which one it was, he decided to give it a try first.

.....

Konoha, Root base.

Danzo, who had recovered some of his authority, was reviewing the intelligence sent back by his subordinates.

To him, the feeling of regaining power was wonderful. He couldn't stand the loneliness after being relieved of his duties.

Even if he could still secretly operate...

However, just partial authority couldn't satisfy him. His dream had never changed, what he wanted was the position of Hokage.

"Kirigakure is splitting more and more seriously, and it's highly likely that internal strife will break out?"

Although Danzo wasn't exactly likeable, his efficiency in gathering intelligence was first-class.

After all, he was the Darkness of the Ninja World, and his eyes were spread everywhere. Otherwise, Sarutobi Hiruzen wouldn't have chosen to let him off the hook after he tried to assassinate him.

Of course, there might have been factors of friendship involved...

"So, are Obito and that organization hired by one side, preparing to make a move against the other?" Danzo analyzed secretly.

He didn't acre about the internal strife in Kirigakure, and even wished for Kirigakure to fall apart.

"Hmph, Itachi kept saying he wanted to be Konoha's spy, but there's no intelligence at all!"

But soon, he snorted coldly again, "Hiruzen is really old, too soft-hearted. How can such a disaster be left behind?"

"And that Obito, it's really ironic, Konoha's hero is actually the creator of the Nine-Tails incident ten years ago, these Uchiha..."

However, thinking of Obito, his eyes also lit up. He was certain that Obito's eye was a Mangekyo Sharingan, and such an eye could not fail to arouse his greed.

Moreover, having already obtained some Hashirama cells through Orochimaru, he naturally understood that suppressing those active cells required a Sharingan.

He didn't know the principle as Orochimaru didn't say, but the effect was real. This filled his heart with even more desire.

"If only I could get that eye..."

Danzo muttered to himself, looking at the intelligence in his hand. After pondering for a long time, an idea suddenly popped into his mind.

"Can I make Kirigakure even more chaotic, so that my people can give it a try?"

A Mangekyo Sharingan, he really didn't want to miss it. Even though he saw that Obito wasn't easy to mess with that night, he still wanted to try.

As for being exposed?

Root members wouldn't be exposed, and it wasn't difficult to frame Kirigakure!

At worst, they could gather more intelligence to prepare for the future.

"Since that's the case, I have to divert Jiraiya. That guy will definitely go to Kirigakure, so..."

Danzo's exposed eye narrowed slightly. He already had an idea.

"I can only trouble you again, Orochimaru..."
