I felt against the side of my throat again, praying that I was wrong, but I could feel certain marks on my throat that weren't there before, and they still felt fresh cause touching them was sending slight sparks of pain and something else through my entire body. After I focused on my insides, I realized that I now felt three more people along with myself on the inside.
When I glanced between the three men, none of them were saying anything, and I felt a deep stab of betrayal shrug through my entire body, filling me with the urge to burst into tears right now.
"How could you?" I cried out, my hand still pressed against my throat.
"You really marked me?" I whispered again, cause I was unable to believe this and was desperately hoping for it to be a lie. But from the expressions on their faces, I was certain that deep down, I wasn't wrong, and that they really marked me.
How could they do this?
