Landon rolled his eyes as he scoffed. "Of course you don't. You'd never believe anything reasonable, but if it were someone like Hugo speaking to you right now, you'll be hanging to every word he says while wanting to throw yourself at him." He snapped and I rolled my eyes while scowling at him.
"Well, have you considered the fact that it might be because Hugo hadn't ever given me a reason to doubt his words? Have you?" I gritted out as I continued. "The entire interactions I've had with him, he had been more than pleasant with me, always polite and nice, never taking more than the tiny inch I give him… but compared to him, you and your brothers have given me so many reasons to never believe anything you say to me on so many occasions, and that's just the beginning. You've all hurt me, and dare I say you've also broken the little trust I once had in you, so Landon, I can't ever believe what you all say to me, that's the difference between your guys and Hugo."
