Chapter 90 - Chapter 90

Elena's POV

Sebastian didn't argue.

He just leaned back, watching me like he wanted to say more but wouldn't.

I appreciated that—his silence. His restraint. It was more comforting than forced optimism.

My phone buzzed.

Julian

Dinner again tonight? I found something I think you need to see.

Same place. Eight.

Sebastian glanced at my expression. "Julian?"

I nodded. "He said he found something."

"Then go," he said. "But keep your guard up."

"I always do."

He moved toward the door, pausing only once.

"Elena," he said without turning. "You're getting close. Be ready for what comes next."

Then he was gone.

And I was alone again—with truths no one should carry.

But I didn't flinch.

I just looked down at the documents again.

My name.

My signature.

My destruction—neatly planned and perfectly signed.

If Julian had answers, I'd hear them.

But if he didn't—

Then I'd burn this whole thing down myself.
