Lin Yu waited for May to return to her true form, then she kicked her awake.
"Awu..was that necessary?!" She woke up angry.
"Absolutely! After what you have done, you have the nerve to ask me that?" She pointed at the wreckage coursed by the ape.
May seeing large trees ripped to shreds, a large footprint seeming to have stomped on them and the broken road ahead. Cars looking like large metal cans that have been stepped on and destroyed in one go.
"I remember it, but...I couldn't reign in the ape. It felt strange like another person had always been lurking is suddenly let loose."
"Yes. You should keep a diary. Now, you took my things, I am to assume to aquiest to my proposal?" Lin Yu whose clothes and hair are covered in dirt and grime folded her arms looking very displeased.
May couldn't help but laugh at her. For the first time since the start of the apocalypse, she felt relaxed. All this time the pressure had been slowly building up.
She knew of those few people's thoughts but she had been hoping for a solution that will not end in bloodshed. No matter what plan she came up with it always seem to be thwarted by those people.
At least now she knows who they are and she ill deal with them accordingly. As they have been with her throughout, she can nor bring herself to kill them.
Lin Yu turned to her. "I need to go somewhere. Be ready to move in 5 hours." She disappeared from her spot is a puff of black smoke. All that's missing is the wicked witches laugh.
May looked around her realizing she really disappeared.
Lin Yu appeared near a construction site. Metal and glass windows filled four warehouses in this place. Then about an are of three football fields is full of temporary houses made and ready for shipping.
A one bedroom, two bedrooms all the way to five bedrooms house with a bathroom, seating room, and a kitchen. Complete with plumbing and electricity system in place. Lin Yu only has to place a water tank and gas, or electrical generator which she has plenty of in her space.
There is also several mansions with different designs able to accommodate tens of people. Knowing who will benefit from this loot, Lin Yu cleaned the place up taking everything away even the make shift furniture to be moved inside each temporary house, she moved it all into her space.
Lin Yu had thought about just taking one of each house and then making copies. It turns out to drain her spirit power depending on how large or demanding the item it.
Duplicating an entire metal mansion will undoubtedly put her in a coma. Probably.
She took away the machines to make all those metal houses and cleaned up all the materials in the nearby area.
Lin Yu looked carefully around this place and to no one's surprise, she found several iron mines and some useful medicinal herbs. She now has all the herbs needed to make muscle forging pills, skin hardening and a simple low level spirit cleansing potion.
In a world where a person needs another person to cleanse their spirit palace every once in a while, this pill is priceless.
After coming back, less than half her men agreed to go with her. This did not surprise Lin Yu. She didn't take them back since she still wants to clean out the iron mines in the old factory. She gave May a 500 milliliters full of bone marrow cleansing pills.
"What do these do?" May asked her feeling apprehensive. He'd own pain is still vivid in her mind.
"Everyone who takes this pill is someone who wants to be stronger. I do not keep useless people in my city. This is a bone marrow cleansing pill. It will remove impurities and wash your bones allowing you to awaken."
"Why give us before reaching the city?" May looked worried, the people who refused to leave with her are eyeing this bottle with hungry eyes.
"Change shifts, or change locations. I need to do something that will take me days to finish nearby. When I'm done I will quickly come over." This attitude on not wanting to kill her old team members will cost her along the line. It's best to let her see what happens when you let the wound fester.
The first place Lin Yu went to was her friend's place. The county clinic of G county. Women and children are placed in the innermost consultation rooms of the clinic. While the hallways and corridors are full of youngband abled bodied.
"The food has already run out. I hope brother will find something." Lin Yu finally heard the voice she had wanted to hear.
She warped right in front of the mother and daughter. Just before they could scream, she covered their mouths.
"Are you calm?" She asked and relieved nods before releasing them. It turns out, the survivors here organize group outings to look for supplies and Lu Peng's brother always goes to keep appearances.
"I'm ready to take you to the city. Do you think these people will agree? I'm going to need a lot of labor."
"I can ask."
"I will give you a week since I need to go something nearby and it's a big project, it will take me days." Lin Yu walked out of the door but she is stopped by a tall uncle.
"Who are you? What are you doing in there?" He asked glancing behind her probably wondering if the two are still alive inside.
"Lin Yu?" A boy holding a metal pipe walked towards her looking at her clean clothes with some surprise.
"How did you get in here?" The boy asked knowing the room has metal bars so she couldn't have used the window.
Lin Yu simply disappeared from her spot reappearing at the door.
"That's a cool superpower. Where are you staying?" He looked at her clean clothes again thinking she must have a lot of supplies at home.
"I am staying in an underground city. In fact, it is recruiting because currently it's empty. It needs a lot of workers, you get supplies and housing. Spread the word. She turned to leave but Zhu Rui stopped her.
"Can you take me there? I need to verify for everyone if it's safe."
"I'm sorry. If you doubt, you can stay behind." She waved her hand and tens of steaming hot meat buns, tea and coffee in takeaways appeared on the side of the wall. "A meeting gift school mate." She left the place as people flocked to the sm3ll of delicious food.
Lin Yu took her time clearing out all the iron mines but only took away the highest iron vein into her space.
By the time she finished, it is already four days later. She has taken liberty to hunt un mutated rabbits in the mountains. It is rare to encounter a high fertility animal that can be eaten in an apocalypse. In a few months she will have hundreds of rabbits ready for the butcher's knife.
Lin Yu remembered to inscribe oxygen generating spells on tens of jade stones and then charged them with high level spirit stones to last for a long time.
As soon as she enters the city, she will transplant these stones the city wall at a few meters from each other. This required her to make a few hundreds of them.
"You took your time." May looking tired said to Lin Yu who looked around the place, the number of people has decreased. She didn't answer and warped into the empty city.
Gasps sounded as people couldn't see their own fingers in the darkness. They stayed in the dark for a few more minutes as Lin Yu put the jade stones with air generating inscriptions on the wall of the house's they will be using.
Lin Yu put two mansions facing each other separated by a large distance. These two houses are both large and exquisitely designed the only difference is the color of the outside paint.
One white the other blue. Lin Yu had put the generator and water tank in place while they were inside her space.
"There's at least 400 people here. Most of which are children. These two mansions are both given to you. Decide how to allocate people." She has spent some time duplicating single beds, and placing them inside each room.
Some were large enough to be shared, so she put bunk beds. Strong metal bunch beds that she had chosen from a furniture shop.
Then she put mattress, a sheet, pillow, pillow case, bed cover, heavy blanket. Curtains and floor carpets are all given since these metal houses are not warm at all.
The houses are lit up but the street and the entire place is very dark. Lin Yu gave them supplies and promised to come back with jobs for all of them to pay for all the nice things she gave them.
Inside her space, she processes the acrylic stones to produce hard glass that can hold an equivalent of a sun and moon light without burning off.
Even at tier 5 both spirit and body, Lin Yu felt tired after making 38 human side horizontal glass containers and then putting jade stones inside with moon light spell.
She made each stone recharge on at least ten high level spirit stones to remain lit up for at least 10 years. They can be recharged in ten more years or the humans would have invented something else by then.
There is a way to stop the spell which will be like a light switch. A task to be performed daily. Luckily it can be performed using a mother spell. Just lightly move it and the spell is broken, place it back in place it will be restored. Even an ape can do it.
Lin Yu floated outside placing the long crystal lights on the roof of the city one by one then turned them on. Half of the city is suddenly lit up in a bright moon light without a moon.
Ignoring the cheering sounds from the only two houses, she went back into her space and started on another round of crystal lights.
Inside the space it took a month but outside it is barely two weeks. After dealing with both moon light and sun light for the entire city, she then only made acrylic stone powder which can be turned into crystal clear glasses. Lin Yu will pass on the production to others in the future.
When the entire place is lit up, the residents dared to come out of their houses. Seeing the vast space, they lamented how big this city will be in the future.
Lin Yu left the few people with several assignments. First they are to use the wood she had generously provided to build a farm. Animal farm, use the concrete cement taken from a construction firm before to make a concrete ground for the farm.
When it is dry, Lin Yu will provide safe soil to plant grass and then she will put the animals inside said farm.
At the mention of having unmutated farm animals, everyone became excited. Lin Yu made it clear that everything in here is paid for by either services or by crystal cores or if you're rich, spirit stones.
The farm she opened is quite large needing several more people to tend to.
She finally decided to return to see Lu Peng and her family.
"You came!" Ku Peng pulled her to the room where her mother is staying.
"These guys are now fighting. One side wants to continue staying here. The other group wants to go with you. Three people have died already. I killed two of them." Lu Peng rubbed her temples.
"Can you take people with you? Is it not too much?" Lu Peng asked worriedly.
"Don't worry I'm as strong as a horse."
"The horse is healthy, not strong." Lu Peng's brother Lu Fan said entering the room with a short girl trailing behind him.
"Still annoying as ever." She sneered. Looking at the large boy in froth of her.
"Still perceptive as ever." He said narrowing his eyes at her. This is a jab because last time she said something stupid not knowing he can hear her.
"Have you sorted out who will be leaving and who will be staying?" Lin Yu asked after a stand off.
"We are ready. I'll go get everyone to wait for you in the hall." Lu Pei said walking outside. When Lin Yu saw the old, young and mostly female young girls. It seems they are sending away only weak people.
Taking the all away, they appeared in the middle of the street. "Welcome to the underground city, I will put the Lu Peng siblings in charge of this mansion. I want you all to know that each person will be required to pay 5 points for air in a near future."
A white temporary mansion appeared in a designated place. She secured it with a concrete foundation like the others. "Mansions are given to bosses with strong combat abilities and at least 20 awakened spirit warriors of third tier peak. Don't worry, there are many kinds of work that old people can apply for." She gave them the furniture and let the two siblings stay behind.
"Yuyu, did you make this place?" Lu Peng tried to look at the roof, the light looks like sun light. "How come you said it is underground?"
"Later, for now I need you two to grow an army for me. These are bone marrow cleansing pills to facilitate physical strength and promotes overall physical stats. Do me a favor and focus on women and young girls." The future will be grim and women will be very scarce in a while.
"I gave those guys the responsibility of growing animals for me. What responsibility do you want? It will ensure even the non combats can earn points." She took out a list of mansion master responsibilities. It has many things from construction, processing factories management for making clothes, food, and furniture. There's also mantainace later on and security.
"That is a long list." Lu Pei whistled.
"Don't worry, it doesn't fall on your head. But as a mansion master you will have a responsibly to a large group of people and their families. This is to allow them priority for jobs and for you all to make profit while I benefit from it all as well."
"How do we make profit? I thought it is just providing labor?"
"I will provide all the initial capital, just like I did for the farm. You give me 30% of the profits for the first year, 20% in the second year if you are paying well and 10 in the last year. After that, the whole enterprise will be your responsibility. During the three years I will bare all the construction and mantainace costs." She looked at the siblings.
"Its a good deal, no?"
"Can I have my own mansion?" Lu Peng asked looking away from her brother who seemed surprised.
"Mom will not be happy!" Lu Pei said looking hurt. Lin Yu had been hoping for this.
"Anything for my Peng'er." She said indulgently.
"I have just the mansion for you. Would you like to be far away from your brother of closer? Your brother's is in a place I plan to build a water supply station because I also need someone I can trust near such a strategic resource." Lin Yu said nodding at Lu Pei.
"How about a hospital?" Lu Peng asked. If her brother will guard something precious, so will she and she is aspiring to be a doctor.
"Alright. Your place will have to be in the city center so the hospital can be accessed by everyone." She took out a map with plans for the future facilities and structural development of the city.
It's and important facility so she will build it herself, using the barrier power given to her by the spirit body. Lin Yu gave them household supplies enough to last them for at least a month. The furniture is already in place because Lin Yu was preparing for the her best friend so she was very generous.
"Alright I will take you to your place after a while. For now you can go with the rest to your brothers place." Lin Yu went to the middle of the city and then put the mansion a good distance away from the place she will be putting the main road.
After putting up the mansion, she then released her ability solidifying the ground making a road with started from one end all the way to the other end of the city.
Just after reaching the end, she felt something amiss. A large number of animals are moving in fast speed towards B city. It seems Gu Fang is in trouble, already. She didn't rush to help but inscribed one way teleportation inscriptions scrolls with paper from the magic house.
"This is how everyone will leave and enter the city. It will be safe and will make a lot of wealth for me." This is a very good idea since each person will be teleported into the street of B city when they leave and returned to the point of departure when they return.
She then gave the team three team leaders 50 teleportation scrolls each and then closed off the path to the city. Lin Yu told them to recruit as many people as they can especially women, children and pregnant women.

This will make it so there is more food in the base and business will always be booming for you." She smiled when they became happy.
"I don't know anything about construction, but there are surely many people out there who do. Its a race of who will recruit the best team."
