"Good enough,"Lin Yingying nodded in agreement.She knew full well that with Su Chen's personality, getting him to promise this much was already not easy.
"Alright, time's about up. Come with me,"Su Chen glanced at the watch on his wrist and got up.Lin Yingying didn't hesitate and obediently followed behind.
The two of them passed through the hotel corridor and entered the backyard.Snow was still falling heavily, blanketing the flowerbeds beneath a thick white layer.Even the massive tires of the RV were now mostly covered.
After scanning his fingerprint beside the RV door, the door slid open with a soft hiss, and the electric steps unfolded.Su Chen stepped in first.
Hearing the sound of the door, Liu Ling'er, who had been lying on the sofa watching a drama, quickly jumped up."Ah Chen, you're back—"She stopped mid-sentence when she saw Lin Yingying behind him.The smile on her face instantly froze.
"Ah Chen, she… what's she doing here…?""She'll be living with us from now on. Go upstairs and make a bed for her."Su Chen's voice was calm and matter-of-fact as he walked past her and sat down on the couch.
Liu Ling'er stood there stunned, unsure what to do. Su Chen frowned slightly."What? You didn't understand what I said?""No, no—I'll do it right away!"She snapped out of it and hurried upstairs.
As she tidied up the bed, her heart welled up with a deep sense of grievance.Though she had always listened to Su Chen in everything, after living together for so long, she had already begun to see herself as the lady of the house.
Even in the apocalypse, she had mentally prepared for the possibility that Su Chen might one day take in other women.But now that the moment had arrived, she simply couldn't accept it.Still, she knew that if she dared to show any dissatisfaction, with the way Su Chen was now, he wouldn't hesitate to throw her out.

Meanwhile, Lin Yingying was equally stunned by the inside of the RV.Although she'd been intimate with Su Chen before and knew he had a top-tier RV, she'd never actually been inside.
The interior was warm as spring and spacious.
