Chapter 42 - IV:Chained Trojans

The ice on the Hudson River exploded in the roar of the quantum engine, and the bronze rams of the ghost fleet tore through the snow curtain. Leo stood on the laser turret of the figurehead, and his silver hair was covered with ice crystals with blockchain codes. Canadian ice warriors carried Viking silver coin shells back and forth on the deck, and their mechanical prosthetic eyes flashed more frequently than the Nasdaq fault indicator light.

"The port engine is overheating!" First mate Olaf pounded on the quantum reactor that was emitting black smoke. "The coolant given by Victor's scrap metal..."

Before he finished speaking, the left engine suddenly spurted out blue fire with flesh and blood. The bodies of three Bitcoin miners were washed out of the pipe by the quantum flow. The runes **ᛘᛅᚾ (deception)** were engraved on their withered palms, and the miners' uniforms were filled with mechanical canine teeth of the Chicago Wolf Gang.

"Close the gate!" Leo inserted his wolf claws into the control console, and the Viking silver coin melted into liquid in his palm. "It's a virus on the chain!"

It was too late. The infected engine nozzles exploded like shrapnel, and more miner corpses were ejected along with blockchain data streams. They disintegrated in the air, and flesh and code merged into vampire emblems, which fell heavily on the deck.

When the fourth engine exploded, Leo smelled a familiar stench - the unique synthetic adrenaline of Victor's clone. He blocked the Canadian technician who was rewriting the navigation code in the stern switchboard room, and the direwolf totem on the other's mechanical arm was oozing amalgam.

"What's the price, vampire?" Leo pressed his vibranium bone spike against the technician's throat. "Is your loyalty just worth a few lousy coins?"

The technician suddenly peeled off his face, revealing Victor's quantum face: "What they gave you is..."

Leo's wolf claws penetrated the holographic projection, and the real traitor appeared ten meters away - Olaf's adjutant Eric, whose spinal connector was inserted with the gene key of the Silver Brotherhood. Eric, who was discovered, detonated his mechanical prosthesis, and the shock wave burned half of the ship's Viking rune protection layer into charcoal.

"Change all systems to manual!" Leo kicked open the burning console, and the Wolf King's Eyes scanned a deeper virus nest in the thick smoke - the silver coin ammunition depot at the bottom of the ship was being transformed into a blockchain bomb.

When Leo broke open the bronze hatch of the ammunition depot, hundreds of miners' bodies were being reorganized by the quantum virus. Their ribs grew mining chips, their eye sockets shot out lasers with the signature of the Silver Brotherhood, and their rotten vocal cords vibrated infrasound of short-selling instructions.

"Welcome to the reckoning party." A corpse suddenly spoke, his jaw dislocated as he played Victor's recording. "Your fleet is now my leverage..."

Leo tore the fiber optic blood vessels in the corpse's neck, and black blood splattered on the pile of silver coins. The contaminated silver coins suddenly came to life, forming the first emblem of the Silver Brotherhood in the air - a wolf head with a dollar sign piercing its eye socket.

"You don't even spare the dead?" He crushed the badge with one foot, and the vibranium bone spikes inserted into the deck to activate the emergency protocol. The secret cabin of the Viking longship suddenly opened, and the corpse of a 9th century pirate crawled out with a copper axe, strangling the blockchain zombie.

Olaf threw a frozen silver coin into the melee: "Use this! Their genetic contract has a cryogenic loophole!"

When Leo stuffed the frozen silver coin into the engine core, the quantum virus suddenly materialized into a holographic image of the elder of the Silver Brotherhood. Blockchain data flowed through the elder's fingertips, and each piece of code was mixed with Leo's genetic map.

"Surprised?" The elder's voice was like broken glass scraping against a skull, "Your ancestors signed a contract to sell themselves in 1024..."

The bracelet suddenly became hot, and Viking memories exploded like a virus:

**1024 AD, Norwegian Sea**

His Viking incarnation was writing a contract on whale skin with wolf blood. In a sudden snowstorm, the first elder of the Silver Brotherhood stabbed the dagger into the contract - the modern blockchain address was engraved on the handle.

The virus code in reality suddenly appeared. Red warning: **Co-signer detected: Leo Wu (Gene Sequence X-13)**

"Now you know why I chose you?" The elder's holographic image approached, "You have the blood of a traitor..."

Leo crushed the frozen silver coin and stabbed the fragment into his carotid artery: "Then change to some fresh plasma."

When the engine was frozen by the extremely low temperature silver coin, the entire ship fell into the Hudson River. Leo dragged a hundred-meter scratch on the frozen river surface, holding the genetic key pulled from the virus core in his wolf claws. A new picture appeared in the quantum display window of the key: in the laboratory of the Silver Brotherhood, three hundred Victor clones were synchronously receiving the data of the fall of the Ghost Fleet.

"Leo!" Olaf's voice came from the crack in the ice. "There is something under the water!"

Under the frozen riverbed, rows of Viking longship wrecks were emitting the green light of Bitcoin mining machines. When Leo's wolf blood dripped onto the ice, a bronze ram of a shipwreck suddenly emitted a holographic projection - Satoshi Nakamoto was inserting Viking silver coins into the Lehman Brothers mainframe in the laboratory in 1987, and the transaction records displayed on the screen were exactly the genetic trading data of Leo's mother.

The bracelet suddenly vibrated, projecting a real-time image of the Antarctic ice sheet: the X-13∞ clone was kneeling in front of the Bitcoin Church, the silver holy grail in her hand filled with Leo's quantized gene chain.

The wreckage under the ice suddenly released low-frequency sound waves, and Leo's retina was forced to load new information: **The global wolf gene pledge rate exceeded 98%**. He knew that the countdown to the next massacre had begun - using the thousand-year contract flowing in his veins as fuel.
