Chapter 29 : Human Federation
After receiving all the information, Kenthelion began asking the surviving humans about why they became slaves.
Although their eyes had lost all hope, and they were terrified seeing Kenthelion, who stood over 3.5 to 4 meters tall, they still answered him. They knew, despite their fear, that Kenthelion was human, just like them.
One of them began to speak, "A long time ago, humanity had a great nation called the Human Federation. Our civilization was on par with powerful races like the Eldar, Protoss, and others. We worked together with many weaker alien species, creating a harmonious society with millions of alien races joining us."
However, as the saying goes, "If you're not from the same race, then you're an enemy." The humans in the Federation were naive, believing they could unite different races under one banner, but they never fully shared the same mindset.
The Human Federation experienced a massive AI rebellion across its entire territory. What once were allies and tools—advanced AI—began to develop new logic and turned against humanity.
Because humans never saw AI as citizens, the AI started to reject their original programming. This led to a war between humans and AI across the galaxy.
Though humans eventually won the war, the victory came at a great cost. The losses were immense, and the hatred for AI grew within humanity.
At the same time, alien races that had once been allies began showing their true intentions. Humanity, still recovering from the war with the AI, was unprepared for this new threat. Instead of offering help, the aliens began enslaving humans, stealing all of humanity's technology and resources, and distributing them to the rebels who had joined their cause.
In that era, humanity had formed alliances with alien races. However, when humanity began to show signs of awakening and resistance, the aliens immediately turned hostile. All human efforts to form new nations and fight back were mercilessly crushed. The aliens would not allow humanity to rise again—they wanted humanity to remain slaves, hidden in the shadows of history.
The terrible news reached Kenthelion, who was standing in the strategic room with Castellan Ursarkar E. Creed and Commander Kahn—two great generals who usually disagreed. But this time, their anger was united. Both of them stood up at the same time and loudly appealed to His Majesty Kenthelion:
"Start a grand expedition, destroy those alien heretics. Let humanity stand again with dignity!"
Kenthelion stared straight at the holographic field in front of him. After hearing Creed's detailed explanation, he nodded firmly.
"Secure this planet," he said coldly. "We will begin sending expeditionary forces. We will free them."
Kahn and Commissioner Yarrick were appointed to lead the ground and space expeditions, while Creed would command from the strategic control center. The humans who were rescued from the other side of the portal were immediately transported to the safe side of the planet Terra Aeterna.
While the generals began to strategize, Kenthelion returned to the palace and entered his private study. He sat in silence, contemplating. The words of the refugees from the second portal still rang in his mind.
"Their story... why does it feel familiar? This is like the Warhammer world, but a weaker version... without the Emperor of Mankind."
He stared blankly out the window, then muttered to himself:
"Is this my destiny? Am I... to become the new Emperor? The leader of the revival of humanity in this universe?"
At that moment, two figures stepped into the room. Alice approached from behind, her eyes soft but sharp, staring at Kenthelion's back that looked tense and heavy bearing the world.
Alice (voice soft, almost whispering): "Honey... why does your face look so serious? Are you thinking about something... or someone?"
Meanwhile, Ada Wong sat gracefully beside Kenthelion, her movements calm and charming. She poured him some hot coffee, its bitter aroma adding to the intimacy of the atmosphere.
Ada Wong (her voice deep and seductive): "You look exhausted… What happened on the other side of the portal? This doesn't seem like an ordinary mission, does it?"
Shortly after, Claire Redfield entered, her hair a little messy, her eyes sharp but caring. She sat down next to Kenthelion, one hand casually touching his arm.
Claire (softly, her voice seductive): "You can tell us, dear. We… are very curious about what is weighing you down."
Alice began to massage his shoulders gently, while Kenthelion's body remained still, but slowly responding to their touch.
Kenthelion (low and heavy voice): "On the other side of the portal… humans are enslaved by millions of alien races. They live without hope. I must lead a great expedition. I will free them—no matter what the cost."
The three of them fell silent. But not out of fear—but out of admiration. The empathy within them was now mixed with something deeper... hotter.
Alice bent down slightly, whispering words in his ear.
Alice (low tone): "You speak like an Emperor... and it is very... alluring."
Claire (half-smile, eyes locked on Kenthelion): "Your charisma... distracts me, you know."
Ada Wong (raising an eyebrow, her voice like a soft melody in the night): "Leader of mankind... don't think about your burdens yet. Tonight... let us take care of you."
Kenthelion opened his mouth, about to reply, but the automatic door behind him slowly closed... as if sealing them in a small world that belonged only to the four of them.
The three women exchanged glances, their smiles now no longer just comfort... but promise.
Alice (whispering close to his ear): "Before the expedition begins... you need encouragement."
Claire (tracing her fingers to Kenthelion's chest): "We don't want our leader to collapse from... exhaustion."
Ada Wong (coming closer, her voice like sweet poison): "So let us... pamper you tonight... like you deserve it."
And then, without further words, the evening became a regular one for Kenthelion—not just as the emperor of mankind, but as the man who was beginning to build a harem of war goddesses who would accompany him on every expedition from star to star.
...no longer just full of moral support, but something much deeper—more personal, more seductive.
Alice sat down on Kenthelion's lap without further ado, her face inches from his. Her arms now around his neck, her eyes are sharp but warm.
Alice (whispering): "Before you become the Emperor of mankind… at least be ours tonight."
Ada Wong leaned on the other side of Kenthelion, her fingers tracing the leader's arm slowly. "You have carried the burden of an entire universe," she said softly, "Let us carry the burden of your heart…"
Claire Redfield had taken off her combat jacket, her hair loose. She sat in front of Kenthelion, looking straight at him.
"The war can wait… but tonight, it's not about strategy or aliens. It's about you. About us."
Kenthelion was silent for a moment. The holographic tactical screen on his desk displayed a map of the galactic sector that would be the target of the expedition. But right now… he chose to turn the display off. For the first time in days of leadership, his eyes were no longer sharp like a battlefield, but warm.
He took a deep breath, then smiled slightly.
Kenthelion: "Alright… one night. Tomorrow, war will call again. But tonight… I surrender all my time to you."
Alice laughed softly, Claire had already started to approach, and Ada Wong—always the most calm—just grinned, then turned off the room lights with a touch.
And that night... behind the silence of the palace, Kenthelion was no longer a general, not a war leader, not an Emperor.
