Chapter 42 - Chapter 42

Elian

Two weeks later

I was in front of the mirror, smoothing out my bow tie. I was nervous because today was the day I would marry my Alpha Aurelia Knox. "Calm down, Elian, breathe" Kael said in my head. "I'm nervous! Anything could happen!" Kael sighed in my head. "Elian doesn't always think the worst, and you haven't even told her you're pregnant yet."

I left my room andwalked through the crowd of people gathered in the garden, waving to some familiar faces and shaking the hands of some unfamiliar ones. I was already being treated like Alpha, and it hadn't even happened yet. Soon I felt my heels sink into the velvet blanket of grass covering the ground. I stood underneath the arch of spectacular pink-and-lavender bougainvillea flowers in full bloom.

The sun was just starting to set, casting a warm glow over the garden. I could feel the pack's eyes on me, but I kept mine steady on the place Aurelia would appear. The anticipation kept my heart pounding in my chest. Finally, after what felt like hours, I saw her.

My gaze followed her silhouette as she approached. She was a vision, her robe billowing behind her in the gentle breeze. Even from a distance, I could see the mischievous glint in her eyes as she looked at me with a half-smile. Her long, blond hair cascaded down her back, her veil draped elegantly over her. The white fabric shone brightly in the rays of the setting sun. She looked like some beautiful, divine, unearthly goddess.

The air buzzed with anticipation, it was the scent that gave it away. Every parcel of breeze brought her closer, the sweetness became sweeter, honey-amber and slick, ripe with lust and coming meltingly wet. My throat constricted, a husk in anticipation of her luscious floods. My tongue quivered unsteadily, unable to resist her lodestone pull.

She walked slowly to my left and stood facing me, her eyes searching mine. Reaching up, I undid a few pins in the back of her hair, hearing her sharp intake of breath as a cascade of blonde locks tumbled onto her shoulders and down her back, settling around my fingers where they rested on her neck. Those perfect lips parted as if she meant to speak, but she did not.

The priest nodded solemnly. "We are gathered here today to witness the joining of two souls, two flames uniting as one. Aurelia, Elian, this bond is not to be taken lightly. It is a commitment that will put you through trials unimaginable, but it will also bring you joys inconceivable." He turned to look at Aurelia.

His voice echoed over the gathered group. "Aurelia Knox, do you take this man, Elian Morvan, to be your lawful wedded husband?" "Hell yes, I do." Aurelia's eyes locked with mine as she took my hand in hers, intertwining our fingers. The priest blinked at her passion, a smile playing on his lips as he studied his features, then turned to me.

"Elian Morvan, do you take this woman, Aurelia Knox, to be your lawfully wedded wife?" I swallowed hard, my mouth suddenly dry as I looked at Aurelia, her grip on my hand tightening. "I do" I whispered, my heart pounding in my chest. Aurelia grinned, her eyes sparkling with triumph. The priest nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Then by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife."

The priest nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "You may now kiss the bride." Aurelia smirked and took a step closer to me, her hands cupping my face. She tilted my head up to kiss me. My heart and pulse started racing, but I wasn't sure if it was out of excitement, nervousness, or both. I closed my eyes as Aurelia's lips found mine and kissed me. Her warm, soft lips sent shivers down my spine.

As we kiss under the bougainvillea arch, the world around us fades. It's just the two of us, our bond forged to withstand anything. But first, I can't keep the secret for another second. As we pull away, I look at her, my heart pounding so hard I think the whole pack can hear it. "Elian?" she whispers, touching my face. "I'm pregnant, Aurelia" I say, my hands trailing down to my belly.

Aurelia's eyes widened in shock and her hands flew up to cover her mouth. She looked around at everyone gathered in our garden. Everyone gasped. "Excuse me, everyone" I whispered, "I decided to tell everyone at once." They crowded around us, hugging each other and shouting congratulations. But Aurelia was frozen, her beautiful eyes fixed on mine.

Aurelia growls, "Mine" as she lifts me off the ground. Her eyes widen as she looks at me. Shock quickly melts into awe and then joy shows on her face. "My little omega" she says, and her face splits into a huge grin. "My little omega" she repeats. She kisses me again, this time raining small kisses over my entire face. "My Alpha" I say as I tighten my hands in her hair.

🐺

"Mmmm... Alpha" I moan as she caresses my belly. I sit on her lap in the bathtub as she breathes into my neck. "We're going to be parents" I said, leaning my back against her chest. Aurelia leaned into my ear and whispered, "Yes my little omega, we're going to be parents! No one is going to take you away from me now."

The warmth of the water and the gentle touch of Aurelia's lips on my neck lulled me into a contented haze. The stress and fears of the past few days faded, replaced by a deep sense of belonging, of peace. As she caressed both my body and my conscience, I felt myself softening towards her. Ever since I was forced to separate from the pack I had always known, she has taken such good care of me. She makes me feel safe.

"I love you" I said, looking over my shoulder at her. Aurelia wrapped her arms around me, pressing a kiss to the corner of my eye. "You'll always be safe here with me," she whispered. I turned in her embrace. "Help me" I rasped, and she nodded, leaning in to gently kiss me. As we broke for air, she lifted me and carried me to our bed. She laid me down. We sighed as we came together again, her body flush against mine.

Aurelia gently began to kiss me on the lips. This time she wasn't in a hurry, she wasn't rude. "I'm lucky to have met you, my Alpha" I whispered against her lips. She smiled at me, kissing my temple. "I'm the lucky one, my Omega! I love you more than anything in the world." Her words warmed my soul and a tear rolled down my eye. "Damn my hormones!" I joked.

Aurelia laughed, the soft sound echoing through the room. She gently wiped away the tear that was running down my cheek. "It's okay, my little omega. I'll be here to catch every one of them." She smiled at me, her eyes shining with love and tenderness. "How about I get you some water from the kitchen? You must be thirsty."

"Water would be nice" I replied. My throat was dry, and I was hot all of a sudden. Aurelia helped me up and fetched a glass of cold water from our kitchen. I drank it thirstily and passed it back to her as she was reclaiming her place next to me. Aurelia held me in her arms as time seemed to slow down. "Feeling better?" she asked as she finally broke the silence. "You know I am." I answered back and brought my lips to hers.

Aurelia's scent made me restless, needy. I wanted her even more while she still held me tightly. I rested my head on her shoulder, active again from the touch of her kisses. It was time to tell her what I wanted more than anything. "Please, I want you to fuck me," and as I said that, I touched the inside of her thigh. "Enough, honey, it's not safe" Aurelia whispered in my ear.

Raising myself on one elbow, I kissed her and said, "I need you, Aurelia." The plea in my voice was impossible to miss. She moaned and rolled her eyes. "My omega is horny," she said thoughtfully, kissing me once more on the mouth to silence my protests before winking. "Come, my omega. Let's hide under the covers."
