Chapter 2 - Let the Powers Begin

---

Well, it looks like our contestants are very eager to choose their abilities,

The Broadcaster says with a smirk, watching the crowd through the screen as hundreds of excited individuals scramble to interact with their personal displays, each hoping to pick the powers of their favorite characters.

Wooohooo!

Shouts of excitement and awe echo through the air. Some contestants cheer and laugh, others gasp in shock—and a few even shed tears, overwhelmed by the opportunity they've been given.

Amid the sea of hopefuls, three particular contestants act in a way that stands out. Two larger men and a lanky one share a knowing look, their faces glowing with childlike excitement and mischief.

"Broooos… you know what this means, right?"

The first one, Dave, turns to his two friends: Gunter and Chris. These three had somehow pressed the confirmation button at the same time, ending up together in this surreal event. Coincidence? Or maybe fate favors certain fools.

"Yeah, man! I can finally have Sukuna's powers and cut my enemies to pieces!"

Gunter shouts, flailing his arms in exaggerated slashing motions.

"I know, right? And now I can be Gojo!" Dave adds with a huge grin.

They both look at Chris, waiting for his answer.

"What?" Chris says, barely glancing up as he scrolls through the interface. "I'm not picking JJK powers. I've got something else in mind."

"Oh… right. You're obsessed with Tokyo Ghoul," Dave replies with a groan.

"Come on, man. No one even watches that anymore."

"Yeah, dude, you should pick something cooler," Gunter adds, nudging him.

"Shut up. You guys don't get it," Chris says, his voice sincere. "I've always wanted to be a ghoul. Just like Kaneki. It's been my dream."

Without another word, Chris taps on an image of Ken Kaneki. Immediately, Kaneki's iconic black mask materializes on his face, covering one eye.

"Yo, that's sick!" Dave exclaims. "We even get customizations!"

With a quick tap, Dave selects Gojo. A sleek blindfold wraps around his eyes, and his Jujutsu High uniform replaces his regular clothes. Gunter picks Sukuna, and the Cursed King's signature markings appear across his body, glowing faintly.

All around them, the same thing happens to the other contestants. As they choose characters, their clothes, hair, and gear begin to shift. Some wear armor, others wield swords or carry futuristic gadgets. A wave of power surges through each of them—it's not just cosmetic. They can feel it. Strength. Speed. Energy pulsing beneath the surface.

"Whoa… this feels amazing!"

"Look at me! I've got a Zanpakuto!"

"Dude, I've got a portal gun!!"

The excitement builds. Contestants begin striking poses, swinging swords, or attempting to activate flashy powers.

But then… nothing happens.

"Wait… why isn't anything working?"

A murmur of confusion spreads like wildfire.

"I feel powerful… but something's blocking me."

"Yeah, I can tell the energy is there, but I can't use it."

More voices echo the same sentiment. Tension starts to rise—until a familiar voice cuts through the noise.

"Dear contestants, worry not!"

The Broadcaster's voice booms from above, calming the crowd.

"You've all gained your abilities, but you won't be able to use them just yet. Not until you enter the Super Continent."

He pauses for dramatic effect.

"As for the changes in your appearance and those extra outfits? Well… consider them a little gift to make things more exciting!"

The crowd begins to settle, listening intently.

"Let's not waste time, shall we?

LET THE SHOW BEGIN!!!"

In an instant, mini-portals open beneath every contestant, sucking them in one by one. Shouts and gasps mix with the hum of energy as they vanish into the Super Continent.

When the last portal closes, The Broadcaster turns to face the camera, grinning wide.

"Dear spectators from across the multiverse, stay tuned and witness the delightful adventures our contestants will face on this strange and mysterious new land."

He straightens his jacket and glances toward a swirling portal behind him.

"But enough waiting... let's see what our contestants are up to, shall we?"

With a dramatic spin, The Broadcaster steps through the portal, and the camera follows, ready to transmit every moment of the chaos that's about to unfold.

[JUJUTSU KAISEN WORLD – Tokyo Jujutsu High]

Inside the lounge of Tokyo Jujutsu High, Gojo Satoru sits with his blindfold slightly lifted, munching on a snack as he watches the screen hovering midair.

"Yo… are those kids really choosing our powers?"

He laughs, impressed.

"Look at that one—trying to be me? Heh. Got the look, but let's see if he can handle it."

Nearby, Yuji Itadori blinks, watching the markings of Sukuna appear on a contestant.

"Wait, that guy… he picked Sukuna's powers? Is that even allowed!?"

Megumi frowns. "This can't be real. You can't just pick a cursed technique like a vending machine…"

Nobara crosses her arms. "Okay, but why do they all look like cosplayers at a con? …They kinda rock it, though."

---

[NARUTO WORLD – Hidden Leaf Village]("I switched from kid Naruto to adult Naruto to make it more fun.")

A crowd gathers around the Hokage building where a large screen floats in the sky. Naruto, now Hokage, watches wide-eyed with Shikamaru and Konohamaru beside him.

"They just… got our powers?" Naruto mutters. "Just like that?! No training, no chakra control, nothing?"

Shikamaru sighs. "This is way too troublesome. If everyone starts walking around with powers like these, balance means nothing…"

Hinata steps beside Naruto. "But they looked so happy. Some of them even cried. Maybe… it means more to them than just power."

---

[ONE PIECE WORLD – Thousand Sunny]

The Straw Hat crew huddles around a large Den Den Mushi projecting the broadcast in the middle of the deck.

"Whoa! Look at that guy—he picked Zoro's swords!"

Luffy shouts, eyes sparkling. "That's so cool!"

Usopp's jaw drops. "Wait wait wait—how are they getting this strong without training?! I had to work years for my aim!"

Nami frowns. "And what if one of them picks Enel's lightning powers? What then? Do we just have random gods now?!"

Zoro shrugs, polishing his sword. "Let 'em try. Doesn't mean they can use them properly."

Sanji chuckles. "One guy chose to look like me. Bet he can't even fry an egg."

---

[BLEACH WORLD – Soul Society]

In the barracks of the Gotei 13, captains and lieutenants gather to watch the glowing screen floating in the center of the courtyard.

Byakuya raises an eyebrow. "They're gaining Zanpakutō and spiritual pressure... without soul training?"

Renji watches in disbelief. "That one even got Ichigo's outfit—and look, he's trying to shout for Bankai already."

Toshiro scoffs. "Amateurs."

Kenpachi laughs loudly. "I like this! A bunch of random nobodies getting power? Let's see who survives!"

Rukia tilts her head. "Still, it's strange. The clothing, the abilities… it's all replicas, but it feels real."

---

[THE LEGEND OF ZELDA WORLD – Hyrule Castle Courtyard]

Zelda and Link watch from the castle balcony as a glowing screen floats in the sky. Impa and a few Sheikah warriors watch in silence.

Zelda clasps her hands, amazed. "They're receiving relics, armor, even runes… How is it possible? It's like their world is copying the essence of ours."

Link nods solemnly, eyes focused as a contestant appears in Sheikah gear.

"I've never seen magic gifted like that before," Impa says. "It's as if someone rewrote the rules of the world."

---

[GOD OF WAR WORLD – Midgard]

Kratos watches from the shadows of a Norse forest, arms crossed, while Atreus peers up at the screen above them.

"Father… they're gaining power from all these realms. Just by choosing it."

Kratos growls. "Power without effort is a curse. They will suffer for it… or be consumed."

Atreus frowns. "But some of them look… happy. Like they've waited their whole lives for this."

Kratos glances at him. "Happiness fades. War does not."

---

[BACK AT THE BROADCAST CENTER]

The cameras turn back to The Broadcaster.

He smirks.

"Ah, the multiverse watches in awe… but this is only the beginning. Let's see who survives the storm, who rises from the ashes, and who proves they're more than just a fan with a fantasy."
