Chapter 3 - Rosa mia

Alessandro pov

The shrill buzz of a phone yanked me from sleep. It wasn't mine—I never use a ringing tone that annoying. I reached for the damned device, squinting at the screen—a woman wallpaper.

I turned. She was beside me, sprawled on the silk sheet, next to me, she seemed exhausted. Drained. Used. I'd fucked her Rough and exceptionally hard till she couldn't help but fall unconscious as soon as she came.

But now, as I stared, I couldn't remember her name. I couldn't even picture her face without imagining someone else. My mind was fucked about that that redhead girl!

Bella rose. The way her name fell from my lips. I want to keep saying it for the entire day.

I clearly remember the day I first saw her. I had gone to collect my money from a store owner who had refused to make his payment to my men. He denied payment even after two time warning. So there where only one method left, which was my favorite one!! To kill him!

Yes, I loved to kill, I loved seeing that fear in their eyes when I have their lives in my hands, and the light leaving their eyes. It made me feel happy,

Made me feel sickly satisfied.

So I painted the store with his blood splattered across walls and pooling on the floor, things get to be a little messy. Then I ordered my men to take anything valuable in the store. That's the price he pays for trying to play games and mess with me and my men, he doesn't get to live.

One of my men handed me a towel to rid myself of this bastard blood. I lit up a cigarette, the smoke curling around me, when my gaze caught something red moving.

My eyes followed till I figured a creature owned it a beautiful one at that. And a female. When she pushed the store door, her head bent concentrated on her phone, brows pinched in innocent concentration, little button nose scrunched.

I stood still. She passed me like I didn't exist, headed straight to the aisle, fingers brushing the spines of romance novels.

She didn't see the corpse in the corner, nor did she smell the copper tang of blood. I waved my men outside and I followed her, her scent was intoxicating—like a rose.

I stood behind her, my frame towered over her, and she finally settled on a romance mafia book. I almost laughed at the irony.

I followed her slowly till she got to the counter and looked up for the first time. Her face was like a doll, her white proclaimed skin, I was almost lost for words.

"Hey, mister you wanna go first?"

her voice sweet like honey, she pointed towards the counter. Little did she know she was inches away from a severed limb behind the counter.

But I said nothing. For the first time I was speechless, the mafia king silenced it was laughable and it the caused by a little girl who was no more than eighteen and those innocent eyes just made me want to ruin her more.

"No, Bambolina," I finally murmured. "you go ahead." she glanced around confused. Then leaned over the counter.

Immediately she let out a piercing scream at the sight and she lunched into my arms, trembling griping my shirt like I was her salvation. Her softness pressed against me. And I didn't want to let go. So I wrapped my hands around her giving her the comfort she sought she looked up visibly trembling.

"Shuuuu Bambolina it's just a dream, it's only a dream," she believed me, her breathing slowed. I signaled for luca. He appeared like a shadow, syringe ready.

A memory wipe serum, that would make her forget this encounter. I can't ruin it for her. She looked so pure but I wanted to taint her. I could feel luca drilling holes through me. He's never seen me act like this. So I gave him the Do not Ask Me look.

Then, gently, I pressed the needle into her neck. She flinched but I held her whispering soothing words until her eyes fluttered shut.

I gave orders to have her taken to the address boldly written on her school bag. Her face kept coming up, my thoughts were turning wild when I thought about her body pressed up against mine.

How would it feel when I hold her against my body when I take her against the wall and—

Fuck!!

Get a grip, Alessandro. My thoughts were interrupted when Luca cleared his throat and said

"Boss, what's next."

I didn't reply I moved close to the car, where she lay, and my fingers grazed her face gently. I took a step back cause I was fighting with my demons to take her back to my mansion and make her mine. But she was too small I needed her fully ripe.

I watch the car speed off with her. I gave orders to Andrea to gather all possible information and give me it tomorrow morning. He nodded curtly and walked out. After he had disappeared from my view, I turned my attention to my men. I saw them looking at me like I had grown two heads.

"What?" I snapped at them.

"Boss the body."

"Clean up and Dispose of the body, Don't just stand there asking me stupid questions," I said and walked out, heading to my car because I didn't want my men to see me having a boner because of a little girl.

I sat in the car and took deep breaths to calm myself. After I was able to distract my mind. I saw Luca walking towards me with a knowing smirk plastered on his face.

I know what he was going to say, "What happened back there?" He asked "Nothing" I shrugged.

"Don't avoid the question, Alessandro, I saw the way you were grounded when she hugged you!" he exclaimed. "Dude It's not like you haven't seen a girl naked, hell you've seen a lot of naked girls. So what about her that you caught your tongue?"He questioned.

I just shrugged again, I wasn't sure how to answer. He sighed.

"Don't forget Alessandro, we are the mafia and that girl seems too innocent for our ways, Don't drag her in." He stated and hopped on the driver's side.

I thought about his words knowing he was right. I could not fall for that girl, but still, the way her emerald eyes stared at me the way her little hands hugged me. It had left me craving for more.

I needed to see those eyes, I needed to feel that body again.

I needed her.

***

All the information about her sat on my desk behind the folder. Luca's words still rang. But I was far too gone.

Her name, is Bella Rose, 17, her mother died two years ago and her father is a salesman, with no siblings, and has one friend, Maya Monroe. Both schools at Grace High School.

Since that day, I have kept my eyes on her from a distance. Call me possessive or obsessed but I needed to know her whereabouts, and every detail reported back to me. What's she doing, when she goes out and with who? I needed to know it gave me some sort of control and relief.

I placed the call on loudspeaker with my underlings, giving detailed reports on her little shopping activities, with her friend. I listened carefully.

It's been six months since that encounter, I hadn't touched another woman. She had ruined me. I ended the call the moment Luca stepped into my office.

He's given me a look—curious, suspicious-but I met it with a glare that warned silence.

Still, he spoke. "We've got a problem. A gambler owes us twenty-five million. Lost it all one of casinos." I raised a brow, bored. "So, we crush gamblers every other day."

"Name is Vincent Rossi," my pulse skipped. The name is very much familiar.

" pull his file," I said coldly.

Luca didn't question. He left and returned minutes later with the dossier.

Five minutes later I was staring at it, Vincent Rossi. Serial gambler. Assets are all sold. He lost his job as a salesman. No real income.

Then I saw it. Daughter: Bella Rose Vincent. My stirred. I leaned back slowly staring at her name. My Rose. The girl who haunted my dream.

"Run Vincent Rossi's full background. Family. Fast." And minutes later, the confirmation came. She was his.

Twenty-five million was a death sentence for a man like him. And I was the reaper knocking. But not tonight he had something valuable to me.

We arrived at the casino that night.

They said he was a regular. So Luca went hunting, while I waited upstairs, watching the security feed. The anticipation made my mouth dry. My plans were already in progress.

The door burst open. Luca shoved the bastard inside, half beaten and half drunk.

"Get your damn hands off me, boy!"

Vincent barked.

Luca's fist collided with his face, a satisfying sound of broken Nose and blood. He fell silent in pain.

I stood slowly circling him. He tensed under my gaze. Good. Fear is the beginning of obedience.

"Why am I here?" He asked, breath hitching.

"You owe me twenty-five million," I said smoothly. "And you've refused to pay."

His eyes darted. Sweat gathered on his brow, "it's just a rough patch. I'll pay. I swear."

"I want it. now."

"I—I don't have it."

I crouched down beside him. His body trembled.

"Then perhaps," I whispered "something else of value."

His jaw clenched. "What are you talking about?"

"Your daughter, Bella rose."

He exploded. "You sick piece of —keep her out of this!"

I laughed low and cruelly.

"You think you have a say." Luca's gun drawn, barrel pressed to his forehead. I pulled a contract from my drawer and let it slide across the table like a death sentence.

"Ten seconds to decide," I said softly, my voice a purr of menace. "Tick.Tock."

His breath hitched. He looked at the paper, then the cold steel.

"Six.." I murmured. Tears streamed down his cheeks. "Eight..nine..t—"

"Okay, okay!" he screamed. "I'll sign!"

He scrawled his signature with shaking hands. I plucked the paper delicately, keeping it in my drawer.

"Toss him out. Then get the men ready. We have something valuable to retrieve."

Rosa Mia, your mine now. All mine.
