Victor's brows furrowed as the golden letters shimmered before him. 'Immortal bloodline?' he mouthed, his eyes narrowing as he tried to decipher the weight of the words.
Immortal bloodline victor said in a whisper it sounds powerful. Victor then dismissed the screen with a thought and it vanished.he wasn't sure if he was the only one capable of seeing the system screen and he is not ready to find out yet.
After dismissing the system screen he decided to sit upright and check his injuries. Upon checking, He flexed his fingers, marveling at the way they responded faster, steadier. His legs tensed beneath him like coiled springs, and his breathing came easier, deeper. It was like wearing a new body.
Victor heard footsteps approaching, he quickly laid down and slowed his breathing.
Then the silver haired woman walked in, stopped just short of the door for a moment before Coming in. I'm Lyra she said in a soft and warm voice. I am the healer that brought you back and I can tell something about your healing ability is different.
She looked at him with her eyes glowing and said "although I don't need you to tell me how your abilities work, but I'll be watching you closely".

Victor's eyes widened. The corners of his mouth twitched as the message pulsed in front of him. A quest? Already?. Victor thought to himself, he was thinking about how he would hide himself and his abilities from everyone when he Heard a knock on the door.
He was jolted back from his thoughts as a young boy in school uniform walked in the room. The boy was on the shorter side with short brown hair, carrying a clipboard and a badge on the right side of his chest: Academy Aide.
Victor, right? The boy asked as he stepped in with a practiced smile. I've been sent to escort you back to the academy once you have been cleared. Victor nodded, careful not to say more than he was supposed.
He stepped of the bed and stood upright as he started at his reflection on the mirror, his eyes felt more intense and his skin looked pale not the pale like he was sick but like that of a carved marble that came to life.

Victor followed the boy back to school in the school's ATV, the journey to school was quite uneventful from the fact that the boy didn't say anything throughout there 30 minutes drive.
They finally arrived at school in about 28 minutes.
As victor walked into the academy gates escorted by the young boy he could here Whispers spread.

Victor looked down ignoring the stares as he walked to his classroom.
Victor heard someone call his name. He turned back to see who it was.
It was ciel.
A faint sliver of relief passed through him.ciel rushed toward him was a suprised expression, ciel asked him why he stayed back to fight when he knows he doesn't have an ability.
Victor, not wanting to give up any information decided to lie and said he wanted to stay back because he felt it was the right thing to do.
I wouldn't want anyone to take my revenge from me "Victor thought to himself" before saying it worked out well after all.
Ciel looked at him with a suspicious look and patted him on the back before going his own way.
As he took a step forward he stopped and looked back at victor for a few seconds and said you look different now.

He could tell that ciel wasn't convinced.
Victor walked the remaining way to class his mind buzzing louder than the Whisper's around him. I can't stand out not now not yet victor thought.
Just as victor was going through his inner monologue he turned to see Samuel in front of him.
Anger swelled in his heart, victor wants nothing more than to kill Samuel for what he did but victor knows it's not wise to start a fight now he would have to push his revenge further into the future.
Samuel looked at him with a mocking smile and said, I heard what you did for the school, how brave of you to stay behind.
Victor replied "just did what I had to do, unlike you cowards"
Samuel looked at his face red with anger and hit him in the stomach, victor coughed up blood .
Victor looked over, as the metallic taste of blood flooding his mouth. His vision flickered red.
He clenched his fists but not from pain. From restraint.
"Not yet," he told himself, "You'll pay when it matters most."
Samuel whisper just because you came back alive doesn't mean you can run your mouth how ever you like your are still a weakling.
