The guard drops to the floor with his hand around his neck trying so desperately not to die, but of course, it was all futile.
I turn to the gate.
"I'm coming Ximen Lao." I say as I raise up a covering around my nose down, to not reveal my identity.
I open the gate and step in.
By this time, the Late Peak and Early Peak martial artists would have most likely noticed something was up.
Since they would no longer be sensing the life vitals of the two guards outside.
So of course when I step in, closing the gate behind me, I am greeted by the two Early Peaks from my sides trying to kill me.
I quickly dash forward dodging their spears.
Turning to face them, the Late Peak comes from behind me to slice my neck with a sword.
I quickly try to dodge, I manage to not die but he was so fast I received a little cut by my neck.
"Who are you, and what are you doing in the Second young Master's courtyard?" The guard at the Late Peak realm asks me.
I remain silent, analyzing my foes.
The Late Peak was an older male looking his early fifties.
The Early Peaks looking younger, they look like they were in their late thirties.
I could take out the two Early Peaks but that would take some time, and the Late Peak wouldn't just let me do as I pleased.
Fuck! my chances are starting to look slim here.
"But that's what makes it more fun." I say as I dash towards the Late Peak, pulling out my sword.
He blocks a strike of mine while the other two try to attack me.
They begin various coordinated attacks on me.
They have definitely trained together for a long time.
An average Late Peak expert would definitely fall to this attacks.
But even at the level of a First Rate I will not fall, I have too much to loose.
Blocking, dodging and striking back.
I begin to receive some tears over a while, it seemed like their attacks were beginning to work.
But that was not the case.
The moment one of the Early Peak becomes just a little slower, I take that opportunity to grab his hand, pull him in and use him as shield, holding him hostage.
He tries to free himself but there is no way he's freeing himself from my grasp with this well trained muscles.
Though having a slim build, after training my muscles since I turned one, for fourteen years, then backed up with Ki, my raw strength would be a match for a really strong Late Peak Martial expert.
Its not something a mere Early Peak could compete with.
Though my Ki level is that of a First Rate.
The other two stop in their tracks as I hold him hostage.
But I was not holding him hostage for a negotiation.
I pulled him in to drop the numbers.
I slowly slit his throat spilling blood in the air.
The two now looking more furious rush at me.
Their attacks now stronger.
Seems like they were trying to conserve their strengths before.
But now with one down, I only have to be mindful of two people.
That's less mental work to do.
The noise from the clashing of weapons and little destruction caused on site causes Ximen Lao to come out of his room.
As he steps out wandering what was going on our eyes lock for a second before I turn back my attention to this two trying to kill me.
Seeing him again my anger surges even higher.
I don't have time to waste on this, that little boy needs to die.
My killing intent now more intense.
The dark mist around me increases and deepens.
The Early Peak guard rushes at me to stab me with his spear, I run into him letting him stab me through the side of my abdomen.
Blood begins to stream out my mouth.
It was really painful.
But that pain was nothing compared to the intent I had on killing Lao.
He had to die, he must die.
With his spear in my abdomen and him being within my reach I try to stab his neck.
My dagger so close, just about to touch his skin.
But then he is pulled away by the Late Peak Guard.
Fuck! So letting myself get stabbed was all in vain.
And this bastard, even when he was being pulled away he didn't let go of his spear thereby pulling it out and causing more tear.
"Fuck! I'm loosing too much blood." I say as I look at the spot I was stabbed.
Now what?
Stand there for a while
I heave a long sigh.
I wanted to change, to fight more refined.
To carry a Legacy Diana could be proud of.
But if I die who would avenge her.
What would be the point of that legacy.
I heave another sigh as I look up in the night sky.
My killing intent subsides.
The dark misty cloud around me vanishes.
Then it suddenly comes rushing back, completely enveloping me.
I use Ki to constrict the vessels around the point I was stabbed thereby stopping the bleeding temporarily.
"You guys are toast now." I say as I enter a stance with a leg forward and my right hand holding a dagger pointing at them.
They come again rushing at me.
I dodge, sliding between them and slashing their thighs.
They come again.
The Early Peak by my left and the Late Peak by my right.
I use my right hand with my dagger to deflect the Late Peak's strike to the ground as I also land a heavy left jab on the face of the Early Peak.
As he staggers backwards a little he bleeds from his nose.
I rush at him landing a smooth stream of hits on him.
Right hook then right jab then left jab.
I notice the Late Peak approaching me from behind so I end it with a Right uppercut before moving out of the way of the Late Peak.
The Early Peak drops to the ground, struggling to stand up.
Ohhh that was exhilarating.
"Been a while I threw hands." I say with a smile.
As the Late Peak stands before the Early Peak I could just go after Ximen Lao, but I want him to watch as I end his guard right before him.
I rush at the Late Peak, this time with my sword.
He tries to block but I wasn't aiming for him.
I turn my body, changing my direction I appear at his back where the Early Peak was kneeling, I stab the heart of the guard kneel through the back.
I could see the anger in the face of the Late Peak.
He puts his hand in his garment and pulls out a pill he places in his mouth.
"Even if I am never able to practice martial arts again, I will make sure to kill you here" He says as he swallows the pill.
He begins to surge with power.
He closes his eyes for a second to try and concentrate.
As his Ki level surges to the threshold I rush and stab him right in the heart.
"Unlike you stupid, dumb fucks here in Murim, on earth we don't just watch our opponents play out such a dangerous card when we can do something about it.
"Co... coward." The guard manages to utter before dropping to the ground.
"Yh yh."
Now it's just me, and the little kid Lao.
His face filled with horror, his legs trembling at the sight of his three guards dead.
Killed by a boy who is now walking towards him with a sword in hand.
He begins screaming and runs into his room.
Shit, that scream can call for more people.
I quickly run after him into his room.
There he was backed up against the wall.
"How should I kill him.
Maybe a..."
"Who dares invade the courtyard of my second son." A loud deep voice cuts short my thoughts.
