Ignatius Yates sat in the car and saw the boss carrying the Young Madam over. He got out of the car, opened the rear door, and caught a glimpse of Mason Nightshade's cold, inscrutable face, which chilled him to the bone. He wisely kept quiet and said nothing.
Mason Nightshade placed Aurelia Shaw on the back seat, sitting across from her, but didn't glance at her. He took out a laptop and began working, occasionally flipping through contracts that needed signing.
Aurelia Shaw also didn't look at him, her gaze drifting out the window, taking in the scenery along the way.
The temperature in the back seat was chillingly cold. Ignatius Yates glanced at the two of them repeatedly through the rearview mirror, gulped, and tightened his grip on the steering wheel. Below, his foot sneakily pressed the accelerator to the floor.
"Oh Lord, let me get to the Shaw residence quickly."
