Chapter 8 - Young Master

As they drove, the scenery outside changed from familiar streets to a district Eleanor had never seen before. The houses around her looked like they belonged in a fairy tale - expensive, plush, and intricately designed. Some of them had an ancient look to them, with stone walls and stained glass windows.

Eleanor's eyes widened as she took in the sights. She had never seen anything like this before. The butler, however, seemed completely unphased, his expression remaining stern and unyielding.

As they turned a corner, a large gate came into view. It was made of wrought iron and looked like it had been there for centuries. The gate opened automatically, and the butler drove the car through it.

As the car drove through the gate, the scenery unfolded like a canvas of elegance and refinement. The driveway wound its way through a beautifully manicured lawn, dotted with towering trees that cast dappled shadows on the ground. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the soft chirping of birds.

To the left and right of the driveway, perfectly trimmed hedges and bushes stood like sentinels, their leaves a vibrant green that seemed to glow in the morning light. The sound of gently burbling water grew louder, and soon, a stunning fountain came into view.

The fountain was situated in front of the house, its waters dancing and splashing in a mesmerizing display. At the center of the fountain stood a magnificent statue of a mythical creature, its stone surface weathered to a soft, moss-covered patina.

And then, the house came into view. It was an imposing structure, its stone façade bearing the marks of centuries past. Yet, despite its age, the house exuded a sense of majesty and grandeur, its tall spires and turrets reaching towards the sky like giant's fists.

The windows were tall and narrow, with intricate stone carvings that seemed to tell stories of their own. The front door, made of solid oak, looked sturdy enough to withstand a siege. Despite its imposing appearance, the house seemed to radiate a sense of warmth and welcome, as if it had been waiting for Eleanor's arrival all along.

Eleanor looked around, taking in the sprawling estate. The driveway wound its way through beautifully manicured gardens, complete with fountains, statues, and walking paths.

The drive from the gate to the house took a while, and Eleanor had plenty of time to take in the sights. She was starting to feel a sense of trepidation, though. Who lived in a house like this? And what did they want with her?

As the car glided to a stop in front of the house, the man came down and opened the door for her. Eleanor stepped out, her eyes wide with wonder as she took in the sights and sounds of the estate. The man cleared his throat, breaking the spell.

"Miss Eleanor, please follow me," he said, his voice firm but polite.

Eleanor trailed behind him, her eyes darting from one wonder to the next. The hallway was lined with priceless artwork, and the floors were made of polished marble. She felt like she had stepped into a different world.

As they walked, the man stopped in front of a grand staircase. "Young master, we are here," he announced, his voice echoing off the walls.

As the man said "Young master, we are here," Eleanor heard a familiar, sexy voice responding, "Oh, are you now?"

She traced the voice to the top of the staircase, and her eyes widened in shock as she saw the face that belonged to that voice. Lucian. The same Lucian she had met just the night before. The same Lucian who had saved her from the creature, what was going on?.

Eleanor's heart skipped a beat as their eyes met, and she felt a flutter in her chest. What was Lucian doing here? And why did he seem so...at home?

Lucian's smirk grew wider as he took in Eleanor's shocked expression. He seemed to be enjoying her reaction, and Eleanor felt a flush rise to her cheeks.

"Welcome, Eleanor, to my home," Lucian said, his voice dripping with amusement.

Eleanor's eyes widened as she processed this information. The person who employed her was Lucian? What did he have planned for her now that she was living under his roof?

Just as she was trying to wrap her head around the situation, a voice cut through the air. "Who's this?" Eleanor turned to the side, noticing a young lady who looked to be around the same age as her. The lady's eyes were fixed on Eleanor, a hint of curiosity and suspicion in her gaze. And the question of who this mysterious lady was swirled in Eleanor's mind...
