The instant Damian walked into the room, the nurse excused herself. Damian stood by the door, his gaze was stuck on Jasmine. This woman was Jamie and also Jasmine. He had never experienced something like this. He didn't know how to follow up, but he decided to play along.
"Have you already fallen for me that you had to stick with me till now huh.. You look like a really busy man, but you're here with me hmm".
Damian chuckled. She had a very weird funny expression. Her cheeks were up, like she was giving a joker face and her eyes were lowered.
Her tone sounded excited and flirty, just like the other night. Damian noticed she didn't ask why she was in the hospital, why he was with her or how she got there. She was probably avoiding anything that would implicate her.
"The doctor said you're better now. You will be discharged soon" Damian walked to the table in the middle of the room. He picked up a bag and handed it to her. "You should change into this".
"You're still the same. Too uptight. Don't worry, I will make you get really comfortable with me. I have my charms" She gave him a wink and a big smile.
Damian waited in the room as she went into the restroom to change.
She came out few minutes later, all dressed up. A casual white button down shirt and a high waisted, straight-leg beige trouser. It was definitely Jasmine style. He was unsure of Jaime though.
This was the first time he had seen her fully in a casual wear and not in a suit. Seeing her with her hair down made it more foreign.
"How do i look? I just made your heart skip right?" she twirled and posed, her head tilted. She casually brushed her hair back, waiting for his response.
Damian looked at her, dumbstruck, not knowing what to say " You.. You look good".
Her face was laced with disbelief "What?!! Just good?" she sighed "Anyways i guess i had an effect, i made you stutter". She had a look of victory.
Damian liked that she was always positive. Maybe because she was the alter ego and Jasmine was the opposite. "Let me take you home".
"Home?" The look on her face drastically changed. She had a guarded look.
"Yes" Damian didn't know what he was doing. He didn't know if he was right or wrong. But he also didn't know if she even knew she was an alter ego. Her response was definitely going to give him an answer.
"Well, i'm hungry and i don't have anything at home. Let's go eat first." Her eyes had a pleading look, like she really wanted him to agree.
"Okay fine. Do you know a restaurant?" Damian asked, while still trying to read her expressions.
"Restaurant? I don't eat in restaurants. Let's go to your place huh" She fluttered her lashes, keeping it cute while trying to get him to accept.
Damian laughed internally. Was she trying to stay in his house? She probably didn't even know where she lived, especially since she had relocated. "I don't have anything at home"
"Huh" her mouth was slightly open. She was probably at loss of words, not knowing what else to say to convince him.
"Let's go" Damian said, an little evil smile creeping onto his lips.

Jamie was in a delimma. She loved that she was out, but that means something could have triggered Jasmine. She was feeling unsettled. She had been locked in for years, now all of a sudden she was out two times in few days. She had to find out what was happening.
And how was she in New York all of a sudden? She didn't even know where Jasmine lives. She felt so frustrated. Jasmine had totally ignored her existence, not wanting to communicate with her.
As an alter ego, who was warm in heart, she understood Jasmine's predicament. She avoided anything that could implicate her. Part of the reasons she avoided restaurants, she was afraid to meet anyone that knew Jasmine knowing fully well that she could never be able to imitate her.
She glanced at Damian, who sat calmly in the car seat, hands on the wheel with his gaze on the road. She didn't know what had happened the previous night or what Damian knew about her. But she was going to find out, he was obviously the only person she could depend on right now.
As Damian drove into the estate, Jamie frowned. Had she been here before? Maybe Jasmine was here. She wasn't the type to visit people's house. Is this where she lives? If so, she had to find the residence. But how?
The moment the car engine died down, Jamie's stomach grumbled. She realized she was really hungry. She glanced towards Damian, his gaze was already on her.
Why was he looking at her like that?
She pouted her lips "What? Your stomach has never grumbled huh? You can see that i'm really hungry. You're cooking right? Cause I don't how to."
Damian was dumbfounded. The owner of a food production company didn't know how to cook? Was that strange or normal? Was it just Jamie?
"Let's get you something to eat"
