Chapter 58: Harvest (Part 2)
I happily put on this piece of Leather Armor. Unique Grade Equipment is truly different. Now my entire body is radiating a faint golden Glow. How much my imposing index increased, I don't know, but the degree of luxury definitely shot straight up, just like suddenly switching from a Santana to a Ferrari.
This isn't a Game, there's no such thing as turning off the Equipment's Glow. At this moment, the other function of the Cloak became apparent. By fastening the front neckline, I could wrap my entire body. Even if you hid a Dog inside, others wouldn't discover it. It's truly one of the essential Magic Treasures for the rich pretending to be poor, and the poor showing off.
Speaking of which, what if a Set Helmet drops in the future? To wear it or not to wear it, that is the question...
Unfortunately, besides this Leather Armor, I didn't find any other golden Glows. There was still 1 piece of Magic Equipment, 2 White Items, 2 Light Life Recovery Potions, 1 Light Mana Potion, and unexpectedly, even a Rejuvenation Potion. OMG, I definitely won't waste it carelessly this time. After several Dangers, I truly understood the preciousness of Rejuvenation Potions. At a critical moment, even a piece of Golden Equipment couldn't compare.
That piece of Magic Equipment was a pair of Leather Gloves.
Gloves of Strength
Defense 3
Durability 12-12
+3 Strength
The Attributes are decent. There were also two White Items, one was a Saber, and the other was a Hat with 5 Defense. (I won't list the Hat's Attributes).
Saber
Damage 3-8
Durability 32-32
Required Strength: 25
Required Dexterity: 25
Finally, there were over a dozen Gold Coins.
These things weren't all dropped by Bishibosh. Don't forget there were dozens of Fallen and Sorceresses standing in the Surroundings when it self-destructed. However, the Unique Grade Leather Armor must have been its contribution. I wouldn't believe for a second that other small Monsters could drop Golden Equipment.
A few minutes later, the minced meat and Blood on the ground had disappeared, and the dropped Items were swept clean by me, not even a single Gold Coin was left behind.
However, this doesn't mean the sweep was over. Who is Bishibosh? The overlord of the entire Cold Plains. It would be unreasonable if it didn't have any private stash, right?
As expected, in the center of the Camp, where Bishibosh was initially located, I found the Target.
Perhaps Bishibosh hadn't been killed for some time. The Items it collected actually filled two Chests as high as my knees. Hoho, I got all the cheap gains.
Humming a little tune, I couldn't wait to open the first Chest. Uh... it was all dark inside, just like the Stone Fragments that Corpsefire dropped last time. A whole Chest full. Akara would probably be overjoyed if she saw it, but it just depressed me.
I took a few glances, emptied everything inside, and continued to open the other Chest. The second Chest contained very few things, but they were all high-quality goods, making me so happy I couldn't close my mouth.
What came into my sight first was a dark Stone. Although its appearance was unremarkable, when I picked it up, it felt unexpectedly smooth and delicate. Some profound and difficult-to-understand Runes were carved on the Stone.

Then, there were two Gems shimmering with a faint Glow.

Chipped Ruby:

Finally, in a Corner of a Chest, a Magic Ring lay quietly.
Haha, a Ring is great! Only by wearing a Ring can you truly be considered a Parvenu! Unfortunately, this Ring's Attributes aren't that good.
Bronze Ring
+11 Accuracy
Alright, alright, I should be Content, don't be greedy. I comforted myself, adhering to the principle of not flaunting wealth, and put on the Ring. Then I put on the Magic Leather Gloves from earlier. This way, it wouldn't be so conspicuous. Hoho.
I carefully searched the entire Camp again, and only after confirming there was truly nothing good left, did I Satisfiedly leave the Fallen Camp.
Although it was only afternoon, I didn't plan to continue Leveling Up. For the past four days, in preparation for today's Battle, I was so nervous I couldn't even sleep well. And although the recent Combat only lasted a few dozen minutes, its intensity was the highest I'd ever experienced, both mentally and physically.
Today's Gains were also very pleasing. It's safe to say they are enough to raise my Combat Power by a notch. One piece of Golden Equipment, 2 pieces of Magic Equipment and White Items, and a Rejuvenation Potion – these are all very useful things for me. There's no need to mention the Golden and Magic Equipment and Recovery Potions. The Normal Hat is also just right to replace the damaged Hat I'm currently wearing. Not only is the Defense a bit higher, but that crooked 'traitor's head' hairstyle has finally returned to normal.
The Saber came just in time. The Magic Short Sword in my hand doesn't have much Durability left and might need to be replaced in a few days. Although I still have a Wooden Club, its average Attack is a bit worse than the Short Sword, and it's not as handy to use. Having this Saber as a replacement is simply perfect. My current Strength and Dexterity aren't enough to wield this Saber yet, but thankfully, I still have 10 unallocated Attribute points.
It wasn't just the Equipment Gains. Today's Battle also brought me a new Vision and perspective. The precise calculation of the Duration of Werewolf Transformation and Frozen Armor was the key to my victory this time. This was also one of the reasons for my enormous mental exhaustion. Thinking about having to find the best running Route and the most suitable throwing spot while simultaneously calculating the remaining time of my Skills – it was impossible without a high degree of mental concentration. For me, a half-Otaku from my original world, this was already an extraordinary performance. After all, this isn't a Game; I wasn't operating a keyboard and Mouse. Things many people can do in a Game are completely different from accomplishing them in person. And having this experience will be of great help to my precise Tactics in the future.
However, I believe the greatest Gain wasn't Equipment, nor Experience, but Confidence – the Confidence and pride of being a Class Changer. Indeed, compared to other Class Changers, I have many shortcomings. In front of them, I always felt inferior. To be frank, I've always been a bit insecure.
I remember when I first arrived at the Rogue Encampment, which Class Changer on the streets didn't carry that affirmation and Confidence in their own Strength, honed through countless battles? Compared to my frivolous Footsteps and scattered Gaze, it was like heaven and earth. This was also one of the reasons why the eyes of other Class Changers were filled with disdain and contempt when they looked at me. But from today onwards, I dare say that although I might still be inferior to other Class Changers in terms of mental fortitude, I at least possess the Confidence and pride a Class Changer should have. In front of them, I will no longer lower my head.
