## Chapter 63: Sweeping Through the Cave (Part 1)

Having just continuously used Molten Boulder and Polar Storm, my Mana was now less than 10 points. I had to drink a Slightly Blue Potion and wait for a while. Seeing that it had just returned to 22 points, I immediately cast Oak Sage.

About a second later, an unknown floating object glowing with a faint red Glow, resembling a Starfish, appeared In Front of me. Its five tentacles swayed softly, and there was even a tiny eye in the middle.

We stared at each other, big eye to small eye, for quite some time before I reacted. I tried to communicate with it. To my surprise, Oak Sage truly lived up to its name as a Wise Person. It could sense my intentions completely. Similarly, I could sense a gentle message from it, carrying a hint of joy. It was a pity it couldn't fight; otherwise, with the close connection between us, Oak Sage could definitely become a great help to me.

I couldn't help but touch its faintly red tentacles, but unexpectedly, my hand passed through empty air. The five tentacles were actually Energy condensed into Energy bands resembling an Entity, while the oval hard core in the middle was its true Entity.

After carefully studying it for a while, I conveyed the command to not wander far from me unless necessary and not to run around randomly. It obediently floated by my side. Hoho, it was much more obedient than that damned Raven. I inadvertently glanced at the Raven, which was huddled on the ground dozing off like an old hen laying an egg. To my surprise, that fellow seemed to know what I was thinking and turned its head, protesting with a few "caw caw" calls towards me. That damned beast, why is it only so sensitive now? Can't you perform well during combat too, utilizing your current Feeling and diligently following my Commands? Are you intentionally slacking off?

Next, due to Mana issues, it took me over an hour to Summon the five massive Ghost Wolves. They were all about half my Body Height, and if they could stand upright, they would probably be a head taller than me. Their entire Body was covered in gray wolf fur, and below their four sturdy legs were hard and sharp Claws. Their ferocious mouths were half-open, revealing a scarlet tongue with barbs inside. Especially their eyes, which held a sinister Aura within their ferocity. If not for the tempering I had undergone these past few days, which significantly strengthened my psychological resilience, I might have been scared stiff by the Pet I Summoned myself.

These Ghost Wolves truly deserved the title of Ghost. Without my Commands, they wandered around me like Ghosts, moving silently. Occasionally, they would flash and appear in another spot. This was probably their unique Teleportation ability, but they couldn't master this ability well, only using it instinctively when encountering obstacles.

I carefully observed these five wolves and found one that was relatively more Restless. It kept lingering by my side, not wandering around like the other Ghost Wolves. My heart filled with joy. I touched its grayish-brown smooth Brain, having already made a decision in my heart.

Next, I consumed a portion of Mana again and Summoned the other four Ravens. What for? Of course, to find trouble with that Mini-Boss! A few days ago, I had already discovered the Entrance to the second floor of the Cave, but thinking about that damned Mini-Boss, I held back from going. Who knew if the Mini-Boss would be killed by others during the time I entered the second floor.

The communication process with the Ghost Wolves was quite smooth, at least much better than with those five Restless dead Ravens. Under my Commands, they formed a V-shaped Party. In the middle were me and Oak Sage. I didn't restrict the movement of Poison Creeper; its Strength/Power was the strongest among my Summoned Creatures, and it was usually very obedient.

On the way, my Summoned Party encountered a group of Fallen. I intentionally tested the Strength/Power of the Ghost Wolves and let them take the lead.

This was a group of over a dozen Fallen, including two Fallen Shamans. The Ghost Wolves' Footsteps were silent, coupled with the dim environment of the Cave, so they only reacted in panic when the faint, ferocious figures of the Ghost Wolves appeared over 3 meters away from them. But it was too late. Seeing that their whereabouts were exposed, the five Ghost Wolves no longer lurked. With a "swoosh," they pounced. Their Operation style also surprised me; they never attacked alone, always going in groups of several. At first, all five went together, but upon discovering that the Fallen couldn't withstand their simultaneous Attack, they immediately split into 2 groups, specifically targeting the isolated Fallen. They would rush forward in a pack, take down one, and immediately use their Speed to pounce on another without stopping. Over a dozen Fallen versus 5 Ghost Wolves, but it looked as if the smaller number of Ghost Wolves had surrounded the Fallen, playing with them in their hands, giving a very strange Feeling.

In less than a moment, while I was still stunned by the Ghost Wolves' exquisite Tactics, the Fallen were all wiped out at some point, leaving only a ground full of Corpses. The five elusive Ghost Wolves were still patrolling over the Corpses, occasionally sniffing with their noses, seemingly confirming whether the Enemy was truly dead.

Among the five wolves, only two received minor Attacks; the other three were completely unharmed. Their bizarre and flexible Attack Technique meant that many times, the Fallen were killed before they even had time to counterattack.

They were simply too Powerful! There was no need for me to Command them. No, if I were to Command them, I would be far from achieving this Degree. They truly lived up to the characteristic of being cunning and ferocious wolves. One might not be terrifying, but when several gathered together, their Strength/Power was definitely not just a simple addition.

However, like Poison Creeper, the Ghost Wolves' combat was not without flaws. If they could fully utilize their Teleportation ability during combat, then this battle could have ended much faster and with less consumption. What a pity.

Thinking all the way, I led my Summoned army to the Cave where I had Rested last time. The same sinister Feeling came from the Passage inside the Cave, but perhaps because my own Strength/Power had increased significantly, I no longer felt suppressed. Instead, I was very happy—it seemed that the Mini-Boss hadn't been killed by others.

My worries were not unfounded. Speaking of the Strong people in Rogue Encampment, there were quite a few. In a one-on-one fight, I wasn't afraid of anyone there now, but if I faced a Powerful combination Party, I would still lose more often than win. This shows that besides me, there were definitely many combinations in Rogue Encampment capable of killing this Mini-Boss.

Looking at my Attribute status, I had 3 Attribute Points left at level 7, and now at level 12, I had a total of (missing number) Attribute Points, 161 Life. I added (missing number) Attribute Points to Vitality, bringing my Vitality up to 62 (2 points of which were from the Blue Cloth Armor bonus), and my Life reached 221 points. Werebear Transformation adds 131% Life, plus Oak Sage's 65%, totaling 196%. My Life could instantly reach 654. Sweat, if only counting the bonuses from my own Skills, the Druid is undoubtedly the Class with the thickest Health among all Classes, but in terms of Defense, they are inferior to the Paladin and Barbarian.

When entering the Passage, I had the Ghost Wolves stay back. Although their Defense was high, their Health was still a bit low. It was better for me to act as a Tank, attracting the Enemy's attention, and letting them go up was more suitable.

When I reached the spot where I had heard Footsteps last time, I activated Werebear Transformation. Damn it, Werewolf Transformation only made my bones "crack crack," but Werebear Transformation not only made my bones "crack crack" but also caused my Muscle to feel a tingling Pain and itchiness, and it began to gradually swell up like a blown-up balloon. My entire Body, inside and out, was both painful and itchy. Compared to this, I would rather be shot a few Arrows by that Mini-Boss; it would be more comfortable.

However, although the process was painful, the Strength it brought was also immense. After the continuous Pain, I looked at my newly formed hands, brown-furred hands, which were almost 3 times larger than before. Gently clenching my thick palms, it felt as if I had endless Strength. My strong arms, and even my entire Body, were covered in hard and thick Muscle. Looking at the Ghost Wolves next to me, comparing our Heights, I found that I should now be close to three meters tall. Doug was already very sturdy among the Barbarians I had seen, but I was now even larger than Doug.

Waving my arms, the sudden increase in Muscle wasn't entirely a good thing. Having gotten used to Werewolf Transformation, I found that after transforming into a Werebear, my Body became much stiffer, and there was a slightly uncomfortable stiffness when moving. There was nothing I could do; the first transformation was always like this, just like with Werewolf Transformation, I couldn't adapt to the suddenly lighter Body at first.

After completing Werebear Transformation, I subsequently cast Frozen Armor. This way, my overall Defense bonus reached 90%. In the entire Rogue Encampment, in terms of Life and Defense, no one could compare to me anymore.

With preparations made, I had already heard a series of hurried and muffled Footsteps coming from a distance. With a cold Smile, I went to meet them—if you're in a hurry to die, I'll fulfill your wish.

In a moment, a black Wanderer glowing blue, accompanied by 9 black Wanderers, appeared at the other end. As soon as this fellow appeared, without even saying hello, a volley of Arrows "swish swish" shot over.

I didn't dodge. With my current Degree of control over the Werebear Body, dodging was also very impractical. 10 Arrows "swish swish" shot onto my Body. Nine of them only bounced off my fur, leaving a white mark, and then disappeared. I checked my Life and only lost 4 points. The last Arrow, however, was quite fierce. It not only cut through my bear hide, instantly making my brown fur look like a blue-skinned bear, but also took away 9 points of Life. Damn it, a Mini-Boss is a Mini-Boss; its Attack Power is more than double the combined Attack Power of 9 ordinary black Wanderers.

I shook my massive bear head indifferently and gave the Mini-Boss a slight Smile. Originally, I just wanted to express mockery, but I couldn't control my facial Muscle, so the Smile felt a bit ferocious to myself.

And at the same time, under my Commands, the five Ghost Wolves, as well as Poison Creeper and the 4 Ravens, had already silently approached them. As they prepared for their second round of shooting, they finally revealed their ferocious Claws and fangs.

"Ah..."

The black Wanderer attacked by Poison Creeper let out a scream and fell to the ground dead. Another black Wanderer pounced on by the five Ghost Wolves together was also dead beyond dead.

Then, with Poison Creeper leading the way, the five Ghost Wolves split into 2 groups and pounced on the other black Wanderers.
