As Alex and Maya's fame continued to soar, they began to attract attention from all corners of the industry. They were approached by record labels, management companies, and endorsement deals. But with all the opportunities came a darker side of the industry.
One of their new managers, Rachel, seemed particularly interested in Alex's career. She was charming and persuasive, and Alex found himself drawn to her guidance. But Maya began to notice that Rachel's advice was often at odds with Alex's own vision for his music.
"Maya, don't be so paranoid," Alex said, when Maya expressed her concerns. "Rachel knows what she's doing. She's helped me land some amazing deals."
