*I LIVE IN ISEKKAI* ARC 17 : YAKOP ARC
Chapter 81: "Back To Home"
Michi and Henu began their journey back to Ruadall town, their hearts still heavy with the loss of Appolo and Tieu. They had been through so much together, and the pain of their friends' departure still lingered. But they knew they had to keep moving forward, for themselves and for the others who were counting on them.
As they entered Euromia city, they were greeted by a sense of unease. Something felt off, and Michi couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. They made their way to the Bnas guild, expecting to find Tadashi and the others waiting for them, ready to celebrate their victory over Luvon.
But to their utter surprise, the Bnas guild was closed. The doors were locked, and a sign hung on the entrance, reading "Banned by Government Order". Michi's eyes widened in shock as he approached the sign, his mind racing with questions. How could this have happened? What had the guild done to warrant such a severe punishment?
"What's going on?" Michi asked a passing pedestrian, a sense of urgency in his voice. "Why is the guild closed?"
The pedestrian hesitated, looking around nervously before whispering, "I don't know, but I heard it's because of some government investigation. They said the guild was involved in something illegal."
Michi's eyes narrowed. "That's impossible. The Bnas guild would never be involved in anything illegal. They're a group of heroes, not criminals."
Henu placed a hand on Michi's shoulder. "Let's ask around, see if we can find out what's really going on. Maybe there's more to the story than what we're being told."
They spent the day asking questions, talking to people in the city, trying to gather more information. But no one seemed to know anything. The people of Euromia city were tight-lipped, and Michi couldn't help but feel that something sinister was at play.
As the sun began to set, Michi and Henu decided to leave Euromia city and head back to Ruadall town. They were disappointed and frustrated, but they knew they had to keep moving forward. They couldn't let the closure of the Bnas guild stop them from achieving their goals.
As they left the city, Michi couldn't help but wonder what had really happened to the Bnas guild. He knew that Tadashi and the others would never give up, and he vowed to uncover the truth behind the guild's closure. He would not rest until he had answers, until he had uncovered the truth.
The journey back to Ruadall town was long and arduous, but Michi and Henu pressed on, determined to find answers and bring hope back to their friends. They traveled through mountains and valleys, across rivers and forests, their hearts fixed on their destination.
Finally, after many days of travel, they saw it in the distance – Ruadall town, nestled in the heart of the valley. Michi's heart swelled with emotion as he gazed upon the town, memories flooding his mind. He had grown up here, trained here, and now he was returning, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
But as they entered the town, Michi sensed something was off. The streets were empty, the houses silent. A feeling of unease settled over him, and he knew that something was wrong. Little did he know, their arrival In Ruadall town would bring new challenges and surprises, testing their courage and resolve in ways they never thought possible.
Chapter 82: "Trail"
Michi and Henu returned to Ruadall town, their hearts still heavy with the loss of Appolo and Tieu. The journey had been long and arduous, but they had finally arrived, hoping to find some sense of peace and normalcy. But as they entered the town, they felt something was off. The streets were empty, the houses silent. A feeling of unease settled over them, and they knew that something was wrong.
"Let's go to Jigenshi's home," Michi said, his voice low and urgent. "Maybe he knows what's going on. Maybe he can help us make sense of all this."
They rushed to Jigenshi's home, their hearts pounding in their chests. But what they saw shocked them to their core. The house had been broken down, the walls cracked, the door hanging off its hinges. Michi's eyes widened in horror as he approached the house, his mind racing with questions.
"What happened here?" Michi asked, his voice shaking with anger. "Who could have done this?"
Henu's eyes scanned the area, his face grim. "It looks like a fight took place here. But where is Jigenshi? Is he okay?"
Michi's heart sank. "We have to find out what's going on. Let's go to the guild. Maybe someone there knows something."
But when they arrived at the guild, they were met with a sign that read "Closed until further notice". Michi's eyes narrowed. "What's going on? Why is the guild closed? This doesn't make any sense."
Henu's face was grim. "I don't know, but I think we should ask around. See if anyone knows what's happening. Maybe there's a rumor or a hint that can lead us to the truth."
They spent the morning asking random people, trying to gather more information. They talked to shopkeepers, travelers, and townspeople, but no one seemed to know anything. Until they met an old man who whispered, "Yakop will be executed today. Treason against the government."
Michi's eyes widened in shock. "What? That's impossible. Yakop would never betray the government. He's one of the most loyal people I know."
Henu's face was grim. "We have to stop it. We can't let Yakop die. We have to act fast."
Michi and Henu ran towards the city square, their hearts pounding in their chests. They had to save Yakop, no matter what it took. They had to find a way to stop the execution, to clear Yakop's name and bring the truth to light. But as they approached the square, they saw a scene that made their blood run cold. Yakop stood on the platform, his hands bound, his eyes fixed on the ground. The executioner stood beside him, his sword raised high. Michi and Henu knew they had to act fast, or they would lose their friend forever.
Chapter 83: "Yakop"
Michi and Henu rushed towards Yakop, their hearts racing with urgency. But the executioner blocked their way, his sword drawn.
"Step back, Michi," the executioner growled. "This doesn't concern you."
Michi raised his sword, his eyes flashing with defiance. "I won't let you execute him without a fight."
Yakop screamed, his voice hoarse with desperation. "Michi, stop! Please, just talk to me. It's my last wish."
The executioner hesitated, then nodded curtly. "Fine. But make it quick."
Michi rushed to Yakop's side, his heart heavy with sorrow. Yakop's eyes were sunken, his face pale.
"Yakop, what's going on?" Michi asked, his voice shaking. "Why are they executing you?"
Yakop's voice was barely audible. "They don't need me anymore…or I could say they saw through me. Let me take the blame. They helped me so much…it's my way to thank them."
Michi's eyes widened in horror. "No, Yakop! There must be another way!"
Yakop's gaze was steady. "No, Michi. This is the only way. But promise me…promise me you'll help Tadashi escape from jail. He'll tell you everything."
The executioner grabbed Michi, pushing him back. "Time's up. Let's get this over with."
Michi and Henu watched in horror as the executioner led Yakop to the gallows. Yakop's screams echoed through the square, his body jerking wildly as the rope tightened around his neck.
Michi felt his heart shatter into a million pieces. He couldn't believe this was happening. Yakop, his friend, his ally…gone.
The spectators gasped, their faces pale with shock. Some turned away, unable to watch. But Michi and Henu couldn't tear their eyes away. They had to witness this, had to see it through to the end.
Yakop's body went numb, his eyes frozen in a permanent stare. Michi felt a scream building in his throat, but it was trapped, unable to escape.
Henu's hand grasped Michi's shoulder, his grip tight. "We'll make them pay, Michi onii san. We'll make them pay for this."
Chapter 84: "Jailbreak"
Michi and Henu donned their masks, their hearts racing with anticipation. They had to rescue Tadashi, no matter what it took. They made their way to Kararot jail, avoiding detection with ease. Michi's shadow powers allowed them to slip in unnoticed.
"Wait outside, Henu," Michi whispered, his eyes scanning the area. "I'll sneak in and find Tadashi."
Henu nodded, his face set with determination. "Be careful, Michi. We don't know what's waiting for you in there."
Michi nodded and disappeared into the shadows. He moved swiftly, his senses on high alert. He found Tadashi in a cell deep within the jail, his eyes sunken, his face pale.
Tadashi looked up, his eyes locking onto Michi's. "So Yakop didn't…" he trailed off, his voice barely audible.
Michi nodded, his heart heavy with sadness. "No, he didn't make it. I'm so sorry, Tadashi."
Tadashi's eyes flashed with anger. "I have a lot to tell you, Michi. Now that I have no more restrictions, I can finally reveal the truth."
But before Tadashi could say more, a loud alarm blared through the jail. Guards poured in, their swords drawn.
"Looks like we've got company," Michi growled, his eyes flashing with determination.
The fight was intense, Michi taking down guard after guard with his shadow powers. But there seemed to be no end to them, and Michi began to tire.
Just when it seemed like all was lost, Michi remembered Yakop's words. "Don't worry about Jigenshi, Velina, and Airi. They're all safe, but in hiding."
With newfound strength, Michi fought on, determined to save Tadashi and uncover the truth.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Michi defeated the last guard and broke the bars to Tadashi's cell.
"Let's go!" Michi shouted, grabbing Tadashi's arm.
They ran through the jail, Henu joining them outside. Together, they fled into the night, determined to find a better place to hide and plan their next move.
As they ran, Tadashi began to tell Michi everything. "It's all connected, Michi. The government, the guild, the stones…it's all part of a larger scheme."
Michi's eyes widened as he listened, his mind racing with the implications. They had to stop the government, no matter what it took. They had to bring the truth to light.
But for now, they had to hide. They had to plan their next move carefully, or risk everything.
They finally reached a small cottage on the outskirts of town, hidden away from prying eyes.
"Welcome to our new hideout," Henu said, his eyes scanning the area.
Michi nodded, his heart still racing from their ordeal. "We'll be safe here. For now."
Tadashi nodded, his eyes serious. "We have a lot of work to do, Michi. We have to stop the government, no matter what it takes."
Michi's eyes flashed with determination. "We will, Tadashi. We won't rest until the truth is revealed."
