Chapter 25 - 29

the Church of the Eternal Sun and the strong support of the Church of Steam and Machinery, but behind it, the shadow of that secret organization was always present.

High-level Beyonder characteristics of the entire Black Emperor pathway rarely appeared in the outside world, including the corresponding Sealed Artifacts Grade 0 and powerhouses at the angel level.

As one of the few remaining descendants of the Solomon family, even though it had declined, Nast had some guesses based on the family's damaged records and certain clues left behind after obtaining the 'Black Emperor' ship.

Before the Solomon Empire collapsed, the high-level Beyonder characteristics of the Black Emperor pathway were basically collected by the Black Emperor himself, either bestowed upon the descendants of the Solomon family or granted to the great nobles within the empire.

When the Solomon Empire was destroyed in the Fourth Epoch, the royal family members of the empire boarded ships with treasures that even deities envied, sailing into the depths of the Fog Sea, waiting for the opportunity to rebuild the dynasty, but they never reappeared.

Once upon a time, Nast believed that the treasure contained high-level Beyonder characteristics of the Black Emperor pathway, possibly even including the Beyonder characteristics of a Sequence 2 or even Sequence 1 angel.

The outside world rumored that he had inherited part of the Solomon Empire's legacy, but when he obtained this 'Black Emperor' ship, there were no high-level Beyonder characteristics he most desired on board.

Over these past hundred years, he had repeatedly lingered in the Fog Sea, repeatedly trying to find the treasure left behind by the Solomon Empire.

Based on the clues left on the 'Black Emperor' ship and his own guesses, Nast believed that those imperial royals, in order to escape the pursuit of the gods, likely entered 'Lost Newyns'.

It was rumored to be a wise civilization that existed at the bottom of the Fog Sea but had disappeared in ancient times, mysterious and powerful.

As for the remaining high-level Beyonder characteristics of the Black Emperor pathway, they were basically divided up by the later Tudor family and the Trunsoest family. As for the whereabouts of those Beyonder characteristics after these two great families vanished into the river of history, he was not very clear.

The only angel-level high-level Beyonder characteristic he could currently confirm was the one left behind after Emperor Roselle's fall, held by the two major orthodox churches and preserved in the form of a Sealed Artifact Grade 0.

But today, while wandering in the Spirit World, an unprecedented palpitation suddenly came from his heart. After he was promoted to 'Chaos Sorcerer', he hadn't had this feeling for who knows how long.

And the source of this feeling was not the 'Chaos Sorcerer' who seemed the strongest, but the young man in the very front who wasn't even a demigod. This was also why the distorted order initially only targeted Aaron.

As the most powerful pirate king, the "King of the Five Seas" with countless intelligence agents, Nast quickly saw through the essence of Aaron's disguise as merely a Sequence 6 'Faceless' by using the distorted order in the special space of the Spirit World, which contains countless pieces of information.

After obtaining 'Traveler', the demigod-level 'Death Mask' was given by Aaron to Byrd Mastan, after all, a high-profile pirate king would be the focus of various secret forces for a long time.

The magical item Aaron was using now was merely rebuilt using a 'Faceless' Beyonder characteristic. In a special area like the Spirit World, it was not impossible for the disguise to be seen through by certain powerhouses with special authorities.

The body on the mottled stone chair swelled again. Delay would lead to complications. Nast, who didn't want to attract an angel but also didn't want to give up, decided to try again.

Moreover, even if an angel came, what of it? As long as it wasn't their true body, a Sequence 3 wielding the 'Black Emperor' ship could completely shake off an angel's power projection in the Spirit World.

Dark red light flickered, black light surged around Nast, the crown on his head bloomed with light and merged with the entire 'Black Emperor' ship, and his majestic voice echoed:

"Chaos, distort..."

Aaron's body, which had already retreated, suddenly stiffened. His original intention was distorted, advancing turned into retreating, and he flew rapidly towards the 'Black Emperor' ship.

The seemingly distant distance was shortened to just a few steps. The anticipated attack did not arrive. Nast frowned and suddenly raised his hands to grab the rapidly approaching Aaron.

Half of "Aaron's" body shattered and turned into threads of historical mist. This was just a historical void image that had been replaced.

Beside Faust Ellen, Aaron's figure quietly emerged. At the same time, Cavendish Lancer, who had swapped positions with the projection he summoned, instantly appeared in front of Nast, the 'Sun-Chasing Scepter' in his hand already condensing light.

Black divine patterns erupted, and a strong distorted order spread towards Cavendish Lancer, instantly dimming the Sun-Chasing Arrow that had been gradually forming by several shades.

A strong burning sensation came from the Sun-Chasing Scepter in his hand. The negative effect of this Sealed Artifact Grade 0 seemed to be distorted and magnified, triggered in advance.

Fortunately, it was just a historical projection. Cavendish Lancer instantly released the maintenance of the historical image, but also missed the best opportunity to attack.

The distance that was originally within reach became incredibly far away. At this moment, Nast's expression finally changed slightly. Even though it was a projection, distorting and magnifying the negative effect of the 'Sun-Chasing Scepter' still put a considerable burden on him.

Without the last opportunity, Nast did not hesitate. The divine patterns around him intertwined on the 'Black Emperor' ship. The entire ghost ship instantly became illusory, as if it wanted to leave the Spirit World.

The 'Black Emperor' ship, already half-illusory, seemed to be affected by some force. It immediately stopped dematerializing and became rigid within the colorful blocks of color.

Nast's eyes suddenly deepened. He looked at the strange Spirit World creature that had appeared not far away and also gave him a sense of danger, and slowly stood up from the mottled stone chair.

That high-level Spirit World creature had sealed off this area of the Spirit World, preventing the 'Black Emperor' ship from leaving. This kind of authority was not something an ordinary demigod-level Spirit World creature could possess.

Nast, who had already realized the danger but did not feel any killing intent, looked at Aaron and his group who had stopped attacking, and his majestic voice sounded again:

"A 'Chaos Sorcerer', an 'Ancient Scholar', a high-level Spirit World creature... Lord Aaron, or rather, the Eastack family, you hide yourselves very deeply."

This voice only sounded in the ears of Aaron and his group. Even the 'Fear Viscount' Byrd Mastan, the first mate of the Black Emperor ship beside Nast, only looked ahead with a solemn expression, seemingly shielded from hearing by some force.

On the entire Black Emperor ship, only Nast saw through Aaron's disguise. The situation was now extremely unfavorable for him, and he did not want to cause conflict with Aaron over these trivial matters, choosing to keep his secret.

Instantly understanding the meaning of the King of the Five Seas, Aaron, with three demigods standing beside him, curled up the corners of his mouth. Strength was the capital for negotiation. As expected of the strongest pirate king, his ability to adapt to circumstances was truly superb.

Seeing that he recognized the situation so clearly, Aaron gave up the idea of beating him up first to avenge the previous sneak attack. It was better to resolve enmity than to keep it. After all, he still preferred to convince people with reason.

"It's true that meeting is better than hearing. It is rumored that the Earl of White Maple is a descendant of the Solomon Empire and has obtained part of its legacy."

Nast glanced at Aaron, who was protected in the center by several demigods opposite him, and the dark red light flickered a few times. He responded very frankly:

"That's right, but those legacies are nothing that the Eastack family needs to pay attention to. The most valuable thing I got from that legacy is this 'Black Emperor' ship."

Saying this, he looked at Cavendish Lancer and spoke with a majestic voice:

"I basically know the Saints who are still active in the Secret Order, but this does not include you."

Cavendish Lancer's face was cold, and he had no intention of speaking. Instead, Aaron chuckled:

"Zaratul got the key information for advancing to 'Mysteries Master' from Roselle. Tsk, He succeeded and failed."

"Without Zaratul in charge, the Secret Order is no longer what you know it to be."

Aaron spouted nonsense without any psychological burden. If Nast had the guts, he could go to the hidden town and confront Zaratul.

The dark red light in Nast's black eyes flickered, then he said:

"I will give you a satisfactory explanation for what happened today. How about a definite clue to a 'Decree Master' Beyonder characteristic? Even if you don't need it, the Eastack family won't refuse such a gift."

A hint of surprise flashed in Aaron's eyes, but he still said unhurriedly:

"As expected of the strongest pirate king, you are indeed generous. However, I am still very interested in the legacy of the Solomon Empire. I wonder if Mr. Nast has made any progress in your explorations in the Fog Sea over the years?"

Nast raised his hand and stroked his short black beard. His already tall figure seemed to swell a bit more, pressing down on this space and making the atmosphere heavy. The colorful blocks of color even became dim.

After several seconds, his tone turned cold as he stared at Aaron and said:

"Give me a reason to answer your question."

Aaron didn't care about Nast's cold tone at all. He pointed at Cavendish and the others standing around him and said leisurely:

"The reason is, you are currently surrounded by them."

Feeling the atmosphere suddenly turn tense, Aaron, who had quietly excluded himself, took out the Black Emperor card and held it in his hand, looking at Nast with a smile:

"Moreover, when you need to trade with me in the future, you won't hear similar demands."

The spired crown on Nast's head shook slightly, and after a moment, he said in a low voice:

"That treasure might be hidden at the bottom of the Fog Sea, in a wise civilization that disappeared in ancient times, Newyns."

"When I first found the Black Emperor ship, I obtained a token that could only be activated by a Solomon descendant's bloodline. All the clues came from it."

If the situation wasn't stronger than him now, Nast would not have revealed this secret. In recent years, demons have frequently appeared in the Fog Sea, constantly disrupting Nast's exploration.

Moreover, the token's sensing, after pointing towards the Fog Sea, was interfered with by some force and could not sense the specific location.

Coupled with the fact that Nast did not want to become a target for everyone, due to various reasons, he had not been able to find 'Lost Newyns'.

Aaron secretly noted down the name, intending to ask Will Auceptin later. An old monster who has lived for so long must know something, or find an opportunity to ask the magic mirror 'Arrodes' and observe the Abyss situation along the way.

He cleared his throat, and the Black Emperor card in his hand emitted a faint glow. He looked at Nast and spoke calmly:

"Within half a year, we will explore that place together. I will make some preparations. As compensation, after the matter is completed, I will inform you of the potion formula and ritual for Sequence 2 'Entropy Duke'."

"We will also not embezzle the items you obtain from exploring the ruins. If there really is an 'Entropy Duke' Beyonder characteristic, my Lord can also bestow it upon you."

"I hope you don't play any unnecessary tricks. I wonder if Roselle told you that the apocalypse is approaching."

"You don't have much time left, and before that, a major event will happen. This might be your last chance. Well, I think this can be considered an invitation."

If it were 1339, Aaron would have killed Nast without hesitation, extracting his Beyonder characteristics layer by layer, and squeezing out all his value.

But it was already 1349, less than 20 years until the apocalypse, especially less than two years until George's advancement. It was basically impossible to cultivate another Sequence 3 in such a short time.

Three years to true god, five years to Old One, that was a miracle unique to Klein, and also an inevitability under various calculations. Otherwise, just the ritual for 'Ancient Scholar' could hold up a 'Geomancy Master' for three hundred years, let alone the subsequent rituals.

Aaron now hoped to preserve his combat power to the greatest extent. The identity of the Trunsoest lineage would eventually be exposed, and those rebels who personally destroyed the Trunsoest Empire would not stand by and watch. At that time, it would not be an exaggeration to say he was an enemy of the world.

If there really was an 'Entropy Duke' Beyonder characteristic in the Solomon ruins, it was not impossible to give it to Nast. However, as a price, he would need to sign a contract and offer his faith.

This was also why Aaron requested to explore within half a year. His ritual for advancing to 'Decree Master' was almost ready. After successfully advancing to demigod, he would be able to mobilize the power of the Sequence 1 'Hand of Order' characteristic.

At that time, based on the Kingdom of Disorder, he would be able to create an order contract that could even restrict angels. Even if Nast had other ideas, he could instantly counter them.

He learned from Faust Ellen that after the Night Emperor became a god, he stripped away his 'Entropy Duke' Beyonder characteristic, which was now within the Ghost Empire, sleeping together with that angel deep within the mausoleum hall.

After Aaron advanced to demigod and further controlled the Kingdom of Disorder, he would try to awaken that one and retrieve all the treasures of the Trunsoest Empire.

And this 'Entropy Duke' Beyonder characteristic would also be bestowed upon Faust Ellen, which was the promise Aaron had made to him before.

Chapter 215: War in the Southern Continent

Looking at the silent Nast, Aaron put away the Black Emperor card and finally added:

"We believe in a great existence named 'Lord of Order'."

"You can also ask Bernaletta about this later. You can directly convey my words to her, and perhaps she can give you some advice."

A ball of light containing information flew towards Nast. Feeling no malice, Nast cautiously extended his spirituality, and a devout and grand prayer appeared in his mind:

"The origin and shadow of order;"

"The great Emperor of the realm of chaos;"

"The Lord of Order who controls rules;"

The dark red light flowing in his deep black eyes suddenly expanded a bit. As one of the very few people closest to a complete mythical creature, Nast knew very well what this honorific name represented – a hidden existence comparable to several true gods.

The description of authority within the honorific name particularly stirred Nast's emotions, causing him to fall silent for a moment.

Seeing that the effect had been achieved, Aaron stopped talking nonsense and motioned for Astor to lift the blockade on this spiritual realm area. The figures of the few people immediately vanished from the spot.

So this is a demigod...

First Mate "Fear Viscount" Bird-Mustang looked up at the sky, sighing with emotion.

Although reaching Sequence 5, stepping further forward, the tendency for madness and loss of control would become increasingly severe, leading to a high possibility of Beyonders failing their advancement, the title of demigod was still tempting.

Because as long as one successfully took that step, they could gain divinity, causing a change in the essence of life. Whether it was lifespan or abilities, they would completely transcend the human realm, standing high above.

As his thoughts were in turmoil, a majestic voice echoed in his ears:

"Set sail! Find Admiral of Stars as quickly as possible!"

Bird-Mustang trembled all over, his body involuntarily bent down, and he bowed in response.

The huge three-masted sailing ship covered in pure black gradually became ethereal, seamlessly blending into the colorful blocks.

-----------------

West Balam, Southern Continent, at the junction of the Stars Plateau and the Hagati Grassland, outside the city of Nikiforus, the artillery fire had temporarily ceased.

Under the illumination of the crimson moon, the Loen soldiers hiding behind makeshift fortifications were taking turns resting to recover their energy.

Many of their faces were covered in dust and gunpowder residue. Occasionally, someone would wake up, take out dried tobacco, roll it casually, light it with a remaining match, bring it to their mouth, and take a deep puff, their eyes showing mostly numbness and confusion.

This war had been going on for over a year. Initially, they only had to face the colonial armies of the Feysac Empire, but by the end of last year, the restoration army from the indigenous areas of West Balam had also joined the war.

However, thanks to the strong support of the Church of the Evernight, the war situation did not deteriorate one-sidedly, but rather became more intensely contested.

Wisps of mist emerged, making the crimson moonlight appear even more hazy. The soldier standing guard on the platform stared wide-eyed at the distance in disbelief, exclaiming with a trembling voice:

"Alive, alive, alive..."

Under the crimson moon, incomplete corpses crawled out of the blood-soaked soil, swaying and trying to approach the defense line.

In the distance, a mysterious figure wearing a hood and a black robe embroidered with crimson patterns stood behind the resistance army, slightly spreading his arms.

Endless corpses revived. The spirituality of the entire battlefield was rapidly growing, and Yin energy permeated the air.

Since the war had deepened, the Loen soldiers had seen too many unscientific and unnatural phenomena, so many that they had become somewhat numb.

But the sight of these fragmented corpses crawling up still shocked them, leaving them terrified and confused, feeling as though they themselves would not be spared and would eventually become living corpses.

Of course, there was a reason why they could maintain morale and not collapse after witnessing so many unscientific and unnatural phenomena.

Just as great fear arose in their hearts, chants echoed from within the Church of the Evernight in Nikiforus City:

"They are naked, without food or clothing, exposed in the cold."

"..."

"The Evernight has not abandoned them, and has bestowed favor upon them."

The sacred and compassionate prayers reverberated throughout the entire defense line, causing the fear of every soldier to quickly dissipate and their minds and bodies to become peaceful.

At the same time, blazing white flames suddenly rose from the body of Gusman-Will, who was wearing dark red armor, and a majestic voice echoed:

"Attack!"

Then, using the connection between the "Iron-blooded Knight" and the army, he transformed into a giant flaming spear and hurled it towards the hooded man behind the resistance army.

The soldiers in the trenches followed the order, moved out shells covered in various patterns, adjusted the muzzles, and aimed at the dense mass of incomplete corpses surging forward.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

One after another, the Loen cannons roared frantically in the front, sending shells trailing with red, blue, silver-white, or deep black light whistling towards the enemy positions.

Amidst the continuous flashes of fire, shells landed in different parts of the battlefield, exploding and releasing destructive waves.

Those incomplete corpses were either directly destroyed or fell powerlessly, returning to their eternal sleep.

The mysterious figure in the black robe and hood behind the resistance army raised his head, revealing a stiff, wooden face like a poor-quality toy. His scarlet eyes watched the flaming spear shooting straight towards him, and his mouth split into a grin, showing no intention of dodging.

Crack!

A sharp silver-white light flashed, erupting in front of the hooded man and tearing apart the flaming spear.

A figure wearing a Feysac general's uniform quickly materialized. His body was entirely covered in silver scales, giving off a cold feeling.

High-ranking Feysac officials were mostly "Silver Knights," "Demon Hunters," "Iron-blooded Knights," and "War Bishops."

And this was a "Silver Knight" belonging to the Einhorn family, Spike-Einhorn, and also the royal representative of Feysac in the Southern Continent in this war.

The blazing white flames dissipated. Gusman-Will, who had shared the damage through his connection with the army, did not hesitate at all and swiftly retreated backward.

With the appearance of this "Silver Knight," at the other end of the battlefield, the mist parted, and countless crimson flaming spears leaped out, casting a sky-obscuring shadow towards the Loen positions.

As these flaming spears approached their targets, they suddenly became chaotic, scattered, and plunged into the ground, creating one black hole after another.

Clusters of crimson fire then rose throughout the battlefield, as if announcing a grand performance.

The fire instantly illuminated the battlefield. Teams of armored Feysac soldiers emerged from the mist and joined the battle. At the forefront was a tall figure also shrouded in blazing white flames.

"Mystery weakens, reality strengthens..."

Cold Hermes language echoed, and a woman in a luxurious robe appeared, the fluctuations of the Law spreading. It was Mashuana-Will, the "Law Mage" of the East Tack family, who had been stationed in West Balam on the Southern Continent.

At the same time, on the other side of the battlefield, Spike-Einhorn, who was suppressing Gusman-Will using "Borrowing Light Concealment" and "Silver White Rapier," his dark green eyes slightly brightened. After forcing Gusman back with a sword, he turned his head to look behind him.

From the perspective of his Demon Hunting Eyes, strange threads were spreading from the flames lingering on the battlefield, and unknowingly, they had already entangled himself and the "Puppet" demigod of the Rose School who was still manipulating the tide of corpses to attack Nikiforus City.

The person who had secretly attacked seemed to know that he had been discovered. Spike-Einhorn's thinking immediately became sluggish, his body stiff, and his movements slow, but this feeling did not last long.

He melted completely, breaking free from the restraint of the "Spirit Body Threads," turning into a puddle of flowing silver metal liquid. Then, the protective power re-solidified into a giant covered in silver full body armor.

Mystic Arcanist? Secret Order?

Spike-Einhorn, who had participated in the Betrayer War and dealt with those fanatics from the Secret Order, a trace of doubt flashed through his mind, and then his pupils suddenly contracted.

Two slightly ethereal figures suddenly appeared beside the "Puppet" demigod manipulating the tide of corpses behind him. He had already recognized one of them as Bautis, the "Saint of Mystery" from the Aurora Order.

The other figure exuded death, and a broken black portal appeared above "His" head. The endless tide of corpses on the battlefield instantly stiffened, their flesh began to decay, disintegrating into bare bones that merged into the bloody earth.

Spike-Einhorn quickly reviewed all the known demigods of the Spirit Lodge, including the Artificial Death God faction and the Royalist faction, and finally found a slightly similar face in a corner of his memory.

That was an Undying from the Spirit Lodge who had been pursuing the Death God's ruins, disappeared for hundreds of years, and was said to be lost in the ruins of a divine war.

This was not a Mystic Arcanist at all, this was an Ancient Scholar in good condition!

A warning sign suddenly arose in his heart, and Spike-Einhorn already had the intention to retreat. His dealings with the Rose School were merely a transaction of interests; he didn't care about the life or death of that "Puppet" demigod.

After the "Night's Kingdom" was destroyed by the Church of the Evernight, the Antigonus family also disappeared. The only high-level Beyonder on the Diviner pathway left was Zaratul of the Secret Order.

Now, a "Ancient Scholar" at the Sequence 3 level had appeared, could it be that Zaratul, who had disappeared for nearly a hundred years...

Before he could think further, the battle ended faster than he could imagine. The Rose School demigod, who had just tried to turn into a secret puppet using the "Curse Source," stiffened all over, his scarlet eyes were occupied by another color, and his body, which was between illusory and real, quickly turned gray-white.

"Bautis" raised his right hand, and a gray-blue ethereal door with seven brass keyholes appeared beside the "Puppet" demigod, who was like a dead object. A faint blue light swallowed him.

Having done all this, the two demigods' History Void Images turned their attention to Spike-Einhorn, who had already raised his Morning Star Sword.

The "Iron-blooded Knight," who was entangled by Mashuana, saw a blazing white flaming spear carrying killing intent flying towards him before he knew what had happened.

A look of surprise appeared on his face under the iron-blooded mask. He quickly chanted Spike-Einhorn's honorific name in his heart. As a Sequence 3 demigod, within a certain range, he could respond to prayers.

A familiar voice came, but it quickly turned his surprised expression ugly:

"Situation has changed, retreat quickly!"

He only needed to break through this city, plunder enough Iron-blooded Qi, and cooperate with that Silver Knight of his family to kill Gusman, and he would be able to advance to "War Bishop."

His chest heaved violently, and he glared resentfully at Mashuana. Just as he was about to withdraw, the surrounding crimson moonlight suddenly dimmed, and deep darkness instantly enveloped him. A beautiful lady wearing the robes of a Church of the Evernight Archbishop quietly appeared.

On a small island somewhere in the Sea of Fog far from the battlefield, an ethereal portal appeared. The "Puppet" demigod who had been banished here struggled to raise his head and saw two figures.

Beside Aaron, Faos-Ellen raised his hand, and distorted black ripples spread, a gentle palm strike distorted and amplified into "Execution."

The gray-white patterns faded, and Astor's figure left the body of this demigod, but he still maintained the blockade of this spiritual realm, preventing him from merging into the spiritual realm and escaping.

Faos-Ellen, who had tampered with the rules of this area, directly 'gifted' the negative state of madness to this "Puppet," lowering his will to resist.

Hit directly by a Sequence 3 powerhouse without protection, even the "Puppet" with maximum body strength had his body directly shattered, but no blood oozed out. Instead, thick, inky black viscous liquid spread around.

-----------------

Backlund, an abandoned manor in the suburbs.

Maric, dressed in black, walked out slowly. Sharon, wearing a complex and exquisite black Gothic court dress and a small soft hat, emerged from the void, her cold voice echoing:

"How is it?"

The brief question was baffling. Maric looked up, a bright smile on his face that was completely inconsistent with his previous demeanor, and he spoke in a light tone:

"Do I even need to ask? Tsk, is this what it feels like to be a demigod?"

"As expected of the demigod level, I am now full of confidence."

"Maric" stretched his body, and an ethereal figure seemingly composed of countless wriggling insects detached from this body, reforming into Mobet beside him.

At this moment, he exuded a strong sense of oppression, and a faint silver-white light flashed in his eyes, seeming to be a side effect of his recent advancement that had not been fully digested.

Sharon nodded and spoke in a calm tone:

"Remember your promise."

Mobet smiled, patted the now silent Maric, and said cheerfully:

"Don't worry, how could I, a dignified Viscount of the Zorast family, break my word, especially since you have helped me so much this time."

"Although the feeling of being completely parasitized is not that good, this is indeed part of my ritual. I am sorry to see your memories, but this is not entirely a bad thing for you."

"Part of the madness deep in your spirituality has been erased by me, and you will be significantly less affected by the Blood Moon curse from now on."

"Also, I left a Time Worm inside your body. I used some special family methods to process it. As long as I am still in the Northern Continent, you can contact me through it."

Mobet smiled and withdrew his arm, looking at the exquisite doll-like Sharon and adding with a smile:

"When you need my help, I can quickly rush there based on this positioning."

"But before that, I still need to go to Tingen again. This is a task entrusted by Mr.Dear, and it is also my promise before my advancement."

222Chapter 216 Recovery and Ending

A glimmer of light flashed in her azure eyes. Sharon, who roughly knew what had happened in Tingen from Morbett, was quite curious about the secrets contained within this city.

But she controlled her desires well. She had more important things to accomplish next, something she had been preparing for since becoming a demigod.

She nodded lightly in response, and Sharon's body gradually became transparent. Using her 'Puppet' ability, she eliminated some information in this spiritual world area.

Backlund, as the 'City of Ten Thousand', not only had official forces like the major Churches and the Loen military, but also many hidden organizations and various Sealed Artifacts.

It's important to know that some Sealed Artifacts do not strictly adhere to the characteristics of the 22 pathways. Sometimes, strange and powerful abilities can appear, like the magic mirror Arrodes.

Although there was a ritual array acting as a barrier and the Parasite's advancement was inherently secretive, it was still possible for certain things to detect it. After eliminating traces and interfering with subsequent divinations, the three figures instantly vanished from their original location.

Under the crimson moonlight, the manor appeared increasingly dilapidated. About fifteen minutes later, a carriage stopped here.

Daly, wearing red gloves, was the first to step down. Several Night Watchers followed behind the 'Red Gloves' member, cautiously observing the silent, deathly still manor before them.

In the middle of the Night Watchers was a young girl with dark green wavy long hair and deep brown bright eyes. She was currently lost in thought until a teammate beside her nudged her and asked in a low voice, bringing her back to reality:

"Hazel, what's wrong? Did you sense anything unusual?"

The hushed voice was still clear enough in the silent deep night. Daly, standing at the front of the team with blue eyeshadow and blush, turned around and chuckled softly:

"You can speak up if you have any thoughts. This is a rare opportunity for you to broaden your horizons and accumulate merit."

Generally speaking, each Night Watcher team was stationed locally, with their own jurisdiction, and were not allowed to pursue criminals or handle supernatural events outside their jurisdiction without permission.

The Church of the Evernight Goddess specifically established the 'Red Gloves' within the Night Watchers. They were strictly selected elites, even possessing some holy relics.

Their mission was to reinforce Night Watcher teams that sent out signals, as well as to track and apprehend targeted evil individuals without restriction, and to handle certain supernatural cases involving high-level beings.

Part of the Red Gloves team from the Backlund diocese had been transferred to Tingen to deal with the aftermath outside of Tingen, which was why Daly was leading a Night Watcher team to investigate this area.

Thanks to the few words from the demigod Yaeger before, Hazel, who had a vague concept of the 'acting method', was now a Sequence 8 'Trickster'.

This was despite the various restrictions on advancement within the Church of the Evernight. A hint of trepidation flashed in her eyes, and she murmured in a low voice:

"Yes, I sensed a familiar aura of the same origin. My spiritual intuition reminded me of some unpleasant memories."

Daly's hand paused while setting up the ritual. She glanced at Hazel, who had already lowered her head, thought for a moment, and muttered to herself:

"The Marauder pathway... these people are really bold."

The silver chain wrapped around her exposed wrist, with a white crystal pendant, slowly hung down, emitting a vibrant blue flame that reflected a flickering, eerie color.

Hazel, who had lowered her head, suddenly felt her hair stand on end. She abruptly looked up and glanced around.

She felt as if in the manor opposite, in the shadows of the trees, behind the empty windows on the top floor of the house, and in every dim corner, there were pairs of eyes watching her!

Although the area was empty and uninhabited, Hazel felt as if she was in a bustling and eerie street.

This strange contrast, this peculiar feeling, made her body tense, and a chill ran up her spine.

"Something's wrong!" Seeing a Spirit Medium's spirit channeling for the first time, she couldn't help but speak up to warn them.

Daly, the 'Spirit Medium' with an alluring beauty, scanned Hazel with her flashing green eyes and replied calmly:

"Don't worry about it, this is just my spirit channeling ritual. Since you chose to join the Night Watchers, you'll have to get used to these things later."

Saying this, she looked at the deathly silent manor, her brow slightly furrowed:

"The spirits that were originally in the manor are gone. The little ones here now know nothing. Such a thorough cleansing..."

A moment later, after Daly used 'Words of the Dead' to command nature spirits to explore and confirm that there were no traps in the manor, she led the Night Watchers into the manor for investigation.

All traces had been removed very cleanly. They could only infer that an extraordinary person had performed some kind of ritual here. Daly stood in the manor with a blank expression, then suddenly chuckled softly:

"It seems I'll have a chance to see that magic mirror of the Church of Steam this time. I wonder what embarrassing questions it will ask..."

-----------------

On the desolate island in the Fog Sea, the viscous, pitch-black liquid emitting curses and continuously encroaching outwards was restrained by Faust Einhorn.

Pale skeletal heads, eyeballs with prominent blood vessels, and fanged tongues grew within the evil black liquid. A sense of extreme evil and madness rapidly spread, and the ground of the small island instantly cracked.

If this power appeared on the battlefield, regardless of those high and mid-Sequence extraordinaries, at least the soldiers at the bottom would have their minds twisted or be directly corrupted into monsters.

Aaron stared at the liquid with disgust. The Mystical Ring flickered with a faint light, and the historical projection of the Scepter of the Sun was summoned. The Domain of Pursuing Light directly enveloped it.

Silent screams emanated from the liquid, causing ripples in the Domain of Pursuing Light. Before they reached Aaron, they were distorted in direction and dissipated into nothingness.

Several scorching white Spears of No Darkness appeared. Not far away, dark patterns that were both noble and evil rose in Faust Einhorn's eyes.

The 'Distortion' ability at the 'Chaos Mage' level was activated silently. The scorching white Spears of No Darkness instantly erupted with destructive fluctuations.

As if truly sensing danger, the black liquid instantly twisted and contracted. An arm like a low-quality cloth doll, lacking luster and texture, extended from the viscous liquid and grabbed at the Spears of No Darkness, but suddenly froze in place for a moment, then sharply grabbed at the empty space beside it.

At the moment its intention was 'Distorted', the Spears of No Darkness directly pinned the black arm in mid-air. A scorching sun seemed to rise in the sky, and the night briefly disappeared.

Looking at the cloth doll arm that vanished within the scorching sun, Aaron's expression was somewhat strange. He had already recognized the source of this arm; it was the second-in-command of the Rose School, the 'King of Curses', Baranka.

When he assisted Bernadette in hunting the 'Silent Disciple' Mahams over a year ago, this Angel had also made a move and was only repelled when the Scepter of the Sun destroyed the summoning gate.

However, what was on this 'Puppet' demigod was not the kind of power projection from before, but rather a part of his characteristics that had been specifically separated.

If this space, including the corresponding spiritual world, hadn't been jointly sealed by Faust Einhorn and Astolfo, after establishing a connection with the main body using a part of the body as a medium, it could have directly borrowed the characteristic of Angels responding worldwide, potentially erupting with Angel-level combat power.

But it was too late now. After being preemptively controlled and banished from the battlefield, falling into a carefully prepared trap, the Rose School's Puppet demigod had lost his biggest trump card, and incidentally caused the 'King of Curses' to lose a portion of his characteristics.

Darkness re-swallowed the scorching sun. Astolfo's figure appeared in the very center, his body gradually transforming into a low-quality doll. The black liquid had already disappeared, and an invisible sense of oppression permeated the air.

Aaron frowned, but before he could speak, Faust Einhorn blocked him and said in a low voice:

"Your messenger, it seems to be advancing, no, it should be recovering. It's somewhat similar to the situation of certain high-level evil spirits in my impression."

"However, evil spirits that recover by directly devouring characteristics like this mostly have twisted wills. It's better to wait until it finishes recovering before approaching."

Not worried about his messenger, Aaron, who knew Astolfo's background, guessed that after this recovery, it should be a genuine Sequence 3, not the previous state where it only had the status but had to risk borrowing from the being in the spiritual world to exert power beyond its own Sequence.

Backlund, in a certain basement in the East District, the figures of Sharon and Maric appeared.

After setting up the spiritual wall, the two skillfully prepared the ritual. The demigod's blood, combined with various spiritual materials they had collected, was all poured through the array into the strange mark on Sharon's palm that emitted the aura of a high-level being.

That was the last protection her teacher, Reinette Tinekerr, left her when they were on the Southern Continent.

Since becoming a demigod and obtaining divinity, she had been nourishing this mark, even though the change she had been hoping for had never occurred.

The items in the basement suddenly levitated. Maric, sensing the movement, cast a surprised glance, only to find that Sharon, who usually resembled an ascetic monk, now showed obvious emotional changes on her face. Her clear, cold voice echoed in the room:

"Teacher, is that you?"

-----------------

Deep in the spiritual world, a violent aura ran rampant amidst intermingled red and blue color blocks.

A festering body covered in yellowish-green fluid roared deep in the spiritual world. Its massive body wrapped in corpse oil bandages tore apart everything that approached.

The scattered fluctuations reached a hidden corner of the spiritual world. The colorful blocks condensed, and the thin, ethereal mist dispersed, revealing a large floating castle.

It was entirely black, with towering spires, covered in vines, and had a strong Gothic style.

At the top of this castle stood a translucent woman. She was nearly as tall as the castle, wearing a complex, ornate, yet dim and gloomy black long dress.

Strangely, she had no head; there was a neat cut at her neck. Her hanging hands held four golden-haired, red-eyed heads with bright features. If one looked closely, they would find that these heads were identical.

As if disturbed by the aura emanating from the raging spiritual world angel, or for other reasons, the four heads held by the woman opened their eyes together. Their blood-red eyes looked outside the spiritual world.

-----------------

The battlefield on the Southern Continent had completely escalated. After the Rose School's 'Puppet' demigod was banished by the historical projection of 'Butis', under the influence of the Gate of the Underworld opened by the 'Undying' projection, the controlled corpse tide completely dissipated, and even overwhelmed the rebels mixed within the corpse tide.

The pressure on the southern front instantly vanished. All artillery fire concentrated on the Forsaken army in the north. With the assistance of the 'Mysticism Weakens, Reality Strengthens' decree, the Forsaken army, unprotected by high-Sequence powerhouses, immediately suffered heavy losses.

The commander of the Forsaken army, the 'Iron-blooded Knight' from the Einhorn family, was currently being besieged by three demigods. Within just a few minutes, he was suppressed and found himself in a precarious situation.

Had it not been for the 'Iron-blooded Knight' being known for his physical toughness and simultaneously leveraging the connection established with every soldier on the battlefield to share damage, another demigod would have likely perished.

Even though he was in a precarious situation, the 'Iron-blooded Knight' showed no sign of retreat on his face. Feeling the continuous casualties of his army, he also understood that if he retreated now, all his previous efforts would be in vain, and the time and energy required to cultivate an army that was in sync with him again would be equivalent to abandoning his path to advancement.

Madness flashed in his eyes. After enduring the attack head-on, he instantly closed the distance with Gusman Weil, grinning ferociously as he threw an ancient token etched with the Einhorn family crest and flashing with electric arcs from his 懷.

This was a gift from the 'Supreme Commander' of the Sonia Sea, the 'Blessed of the Wind' Ahomatova Einhorn from the royal family, before the start of this war on the Southern Continent.

An Angelic Charm that didn't require chanting a name, but was activated through bloodline, was definitely a weapon for sneak attacks.

Having already activated this charm and secretly waiting for an opportunity, he seemed to have already seen Gusman Weil's terrified expression.

Even if he couldn't advance to 'Bishop of War', he would severely injure or even kill Gusman Weil to prevent him from successfully completing the ritual. If he could bring Gusman Weil's extraordinary characteristics back to the family, perhaps he might have another chance to advance.

The expression of resentment and greed had not yet faded but was replaced by a deep fear. In the pupils of the 'Iron-blooded Knight', Gusman Weil's calm face, tinged with a hint of mockery, was reflected. A dazzling crown had appeared above his head at some point.

An aura that even made his soul tremble radiated from the crown. Not only him, but also the 'Silver Knight' from the royal family, who was being tightly entangled by Cavendish Lanther and two historical projections at the southern end of the battlefield, sensed this terrifying aura belonging to a Grade 0 Sealed Artifact.

An emotion of mingled shock and anger erupted from his eyes, which were covered in dark green symbols. Recovering himself, he stared intently at the unidentified ancient scholar opposite him.

Gusman Weil, wearing the dazzling crown, raised his hand and grasped at the void. The 'Star Crown' above his head immediately shone brightly. The dark clouds, lightning, and storm emanating from the token were instantly twisted and deformed, and the entire space continuously shrank, like a seal.

A gray-blue, illusory door with seven brass keyholes slowly appeared, directly swallowing the entire sealed space. Behind the deep and boundless illusory door was a dazzling starry sky.

If it were a normal banishment, it would certainly not be able to withstand the power of an Angel-level attack, and the passage would directly collapse. However, the 'Star Crown', which was essentially a Sequence 2 'Traveler', could perfectly banish this attack that had Angelic power but no conscious guidance. Although it would cause a certain backlash to Gusman Weil, this was definitely the optimal solution.

Chapter 217 Promotion

The dark clouds and lightning disappeared into the deep Cosmos before spreading to the battlefield, and that illusory gray-blue Door with seven brass keyholes slowly faded into nothingness.

Gusman-Will, wearing the "crown of stars," had colorful starlight appear on his body. With a muffled grunt, he transferred the burden of activating this Sequence 0 Sealed Artifact to the army connected to him.

His complexion instantly returned to normal. Gusman-Will looked at the "Iron-Blooded Knight," who was once again entangled by Mashuyana and the Night Church Archbishop. He raised the blazing flame spear in his hand, and as the aura of iron and blood spread, his majestic voice echoed in the ears of every soldier in Nikiforos City:

"All troops attack! Leave none alive!"

Taking a step forward, the spear of iron and blood, condensed with immense power, repelled the "Iron-Blooded Knight" who was trying to escape the battlefield.

The Fosac army was annihilated unit by unit. The anchor maintaining the stability of this "Iron-Blooded Knight"'s divinity had wavered. Unable to borrow strength from the army or disperse damage, he was in a precarious situation under the siege of the three Beyonders.

Feeling the ties in his spirituality dissipate in pieces, his retreat route was completely blocked. The direct restrictions from the "Imperative Mage" also left him powerless to pray to Ahomatova-Einhorn, and the family's "Silver Knight" had not appeared.

Feelings of despair and resentment filled his heart. This "Iron-Blooded Knight" voluntarily abandoned his precarious spiritual anchor, no longer holding back, and revealed his mythical creature form in a state of loss of control.

A mournful wail followed, echoing incessantly across this battlefield shrouded in blood and fire.

As the ground gently shook, endless crimson flames converged, turning from crimson to blazing white. Several blazing white pillars of fire intertwined, twisting into a blurry and colossal figure.

A blazing white flame Giant, several meters tall, forcibly expanded the space restricted by the imperative. The misfortune cast by the Night Church's "Nightwatcher" was also cleared.

The battlefield at the southern end of Nikiforos City had long since concluded. The resistance army was submerged in the tide of corpses, with only sporadic resistance remaining.

The dark green symbols in the eyes of Spike-Einhorn, whose entire body was covered in silver armor, faded. He withdrew his gaze from the north and casually repelled the Black Knight recorded by "Butis."

Completely eroded by divinity, this incomplete mythical creature form was irreversible. Regardless, this "Iron-Blooded Knight" of the family was completely finished. The Einhorn Family's war on the South Continent had come to an end.

Although it was as the side of a shameful defeat, there was no time for Spike-Einhorn to be angry now. Even if he were to lose control and go mad, he could at most hinder those few Beyonders from Loen.

The most important thing now was to quickly get rid of this damned "Scholar of Yore" in front of him, otherwise, he might also fall into a deadly trap today.

Just then, an illusory, dark river quietly appeared. Bloody arms and slippery tentacles extended out, grabbing towards Cavendish-Lancer.

A Ferryman?

Having interacted with the Death Church, which had not yet been destroyed at the time, during the Fourth Epoch, Cavendish-Lancer instantly recognized the source of this power. His heart stirred, and the historical projection of that "Undying" blocked in front of him.

On what was clearly not a physical body, fine white hairs stained with yellow grease were growing vigorously outwards, becoming larger and larger.

Feeling the invisible erosion, Cavendish-Lancer directly released the maintenance of this historical void image. His task here was merely to stop this "Silver Knight" from interfering with the battlefield.

The battle there was nearing its end, the situation was decided. The most crucial thing was to allow Gusman-Will to successfully advance to "War Bishop" using this opportunity, rather than fighting to the death to keep Spike-Einhorn.

Unaware of the details of this "Ferryman" who had secretly intervened, and ignoring the "Silver Knight" leaving the battlefield, Cavendish-Lancer returned directly to the historical fog. The historical projection left outside regained consciousness.

That river of death, as if originating from the Netherworld, had no further movements after the initial obstruction. "Cavendish-Lancer" slightly furrowed his brow and, using the flames spreading across the battlefield, leaped towards the northern side of the battle.

South Continent, Pas Valley, Lloyd City.

More than a week has passed since that decisive battle on the South Continent. The Feysac Empire hasn't made any major moves, but Aaron didn't think they would swallow their pride.

This was merely the calm before the storm. A war that would sweep the world was not far off, and the real reckoning would likely only unfold then.

However, these things were still distant. Aaron had more important matters before him – his own advancement.

Even though he knew that after the war on the South Continent ended and his Father successfully advanced to "War Bishop," Lloyd City would become a focal point for many interested parties, Aaron no longer cared much.

His wings had gradually grown full, and he was no longer as hesitant as before. Besides the slight lack in combat power at the Angel level, the Beyonders he could now summon were no less than those of weaker Orthodox Churches like the Steam Church.

Once he truly advanced to Beyonder and further grasped the Nation of Disorder, even if he encountered an Angel, he would have the ability to escape without relying on external forces. That was the real confidence.

What's more, George III was not ready yet. This subtle period could be considered the final tranquility.

Taking a deep breath and adjusting his state, Aaron looked at Mashuyana beside him. This family's "Imperative Mage" personally placed the prepared potion before Aaron.

Looking at the golden viscous liquid suspended in mid-air, with faint streaks of light passing through it, Mashuyana slowly spoke:

"The ritual for advancing to 'Imperative Mage' is the most crucial step in becoming a practitioner of order. It is mainly to counteract the side effects of the potion. The order you establish will provide you with enough anchors to maintain self-cognition, effectively weakening the potion's side effects."

"Your 'universal code' is a very good example. Meeting the advancement requirements in less than two years is enough to prove its feasibility. Don't worry, I will help you complete the advancement."

As she spoke, the corner of her mouth curved up, and her majestic voice gradually softened:

"Once you successfully advance, you will become the newest Duke Easttucker. This is both recognition and encouragement."

Aaron's expression shifted slightly. His hand reaching for the potion paused, and he silently nodded.

Looking at the steady, reserved, and unpretentious Aaron, Mashuyana nodded slightly and stopped speaking. Golden patterns spread outwards from her body, enveloping the entire Lloyd City.

After being enveloped by the golden patterns, Aaron, sitting opposite her, felt his spirituality instantly heighten. In a daze, he seemed to see layers of indescribable restrictions covering the entire Lloyd City.

However, those restrictions brought Aaron an inexplicable sense of familiarity. His spiritual intuition told him that this originated from the "universal code" he had created. Before he could think further, the majestic voice sounded again:

"I have helped you directly observe the imperatives you created. This will save you a lot of spirituality, and you will have more time to deal with the erosion of divinity. The path ahead is up to you."

Snapping back to his senses, Aaron looked ahead. Mashuyana's figure had disappeared, but that unique perspective still remained.

Silently, he cut open his arm. Blood flowed out but did not drip down; instead, it floated in mid-air. A piece of square human skin, flowing with divine light, also floated up. This originated from "Secret Sage" Butis.

Aaron used his finger as a pen, and crimson blood condensed in the void, writing on this Beyonder leather.

Each time his finger landed, golden light seemed to burst forth. The scene was solemn and sacred. After the prologue of the "universal code" was finished, the words on the human skin each emitted golden light, finally converging into brilliant radiance.

Enveloped in the brilliant radiance, the entire piece of leather disintegrated into starlight filling the sky, as if merging with the rules of the world. Layers of indescribable restrictions appeared on Aaron's body. These restrictions quickly internalized, temporarily becoming a part of his spiritual body and physical body.

His pupils completely turned golden, and that "Imperative Mage" potion instantly integrated into Aaron's body at this moment.

224Chapter 218: The Unusual Movements in the Disordered Country

The cold potion slid down his throat, bringing Aaron a slight numbness, a tingling sensation deep in his soul sweeping through his entire body.

His writing had stopped, and his spirituality inexplicably soared. He felt as if he had suddenly ascended to a high altitude, once again looking down at the boiling golden patterns.

At this moment, his emotions inexplicably became restless. He felt that every pedestrian coming and going in the city was connected to him by an invisible chain, pulling at his spirit body and consciousness.

Thanks to Matthyana's help earlier, Aaron quickly found his own Chain of Order within the infinite chains covering Royde City.

With his mind settled, Aaron immediately calmed his spirit, and then felt the power of the potion spreading within him, like a sharply barbed net of threads.

Suddenly, Aaron felt his spirit body, along with his flesh and blood, being split into countless tiny parts, no longer able to bear it. The pain that penetrated his soul instantly drowned his consciousness.

His thoughts immediately shattered, becoming fragments, combining with different pieces of flesh and blood, gaining their own consciousness.

Just then, the brilliant light that had previously recorded the "Code of Law" enveloped Aaron's shattered spirit body and physical body, merging with those Chains of Order.

Aaron's fragmented pieces, under the increasingly brilliant starlight, disintegrated inch by inch, finally turning into wisps of dark golden mist, flashing with one mysterious symbol after another, three-dimensional and layered.

They connected to higher levels, linked to the rules of the underlying layers, and intuitively represented abstract concepts such as order, rules, power, and knowledge.

A chilling wind, blowing from who knows where, dispersed the dark golden mist inscribed with endless mysterious symbols. Wisps of the mist appeared in every corner of Royde City.

In Aaron's countless disordered senses, everything around him became layered, as if it had turned into the spirit world, blurry and illusory, yet within reach.

Above the entire city, one illusory golden chain after another faintly appeared. They intertwined, forming strange "tentacles."

As the tentacles spread, the spirit body, astral body, mental body, and etheric body all turned into stardust, respectively merging into the dark golden mist scattered throughout the city.

Aaron's thoughts were noisy, chaotic, contradictory, and lightly fluttering, seemingly flying towards infinite heights, where countless phantoms were clustered around a twisted, enormous world.

Strange sensations not originating from the spirit body or mental body were gradually extracted from the fragmented pieces, condensing into Aaron's new thoughts: indifferent, calm, observing, and overlooking thoughts, thoughts that could see the world's reality from more angles and perspectives.

Previously, when using the Kingdom of Disorder against Archbishop Larion of the Church of the God of Combat, Aaron, after surviving the backlash of the "Eye of Chaos," further merged with the Uniqueness, gaining an incomplete Mythical Creature form within the Uniqueness in advance.

Thanks to this, Aaron also understood at this moment that this was his divinity, so he did not resist. He used this to gather and reassemble the original Mist of Order using golden chains, slowly turning back into a whole.

Along with the aggregation of his form, various kinds of knowledge surged from the depths of his spirit body, which had fully achieved demigod-human status, sweeping into Aaron's mind, bringing him an indescribable impact. His head felt like it was about to explode.

However, having already gained some divinity and having gone through multiple experiences, he passed this stage relatively easily with an attitude of overlooking and observing.

The mist solidified, and Aaron, whose eyes were completely stained golden, reappeared. Every breath he took seemed to pulsate with the entire city.

The Mark of Night and the Mark of Life on his wrist also reappeared, emitting a faint glow, seemingly resonating with some power.

However, at this moment, he didn't have time to experience his current state. He subconsciously raised his head and looked towards the void.

He directly saw the boundless dark golden mist, and within the mist, that vast divine kingdom. The entire Kingdom of Disorder was gently trembling.

-----------------

Loen Kingdom, underground section of the Tasoch River, Stleven segment, Ruins No. 1.

Inside the massive black mausoleum inscribed with numerous complex patterns, George III, wearing the Byron Crown, stared intently at the top of the mausoleum. The distorted symbols in his eyes were like overflowing floodwaters.

Excitement, confusion, greed, various emotions were mixed. His majestic voice echoed within the silent underground mausoleum:

"Kingdom of Disorder..."

East Chester County, within a secret mausoleum, there was a large mausoleum built of black stones.

A bit of slightly deep light gathered, condensing into a human figure in the dim semi-darkness.

The figure had a somewhat square face, black hair and blue eyes, a high nose bridge, a thick beard, and a rather solemn expression.

His statues or portraits often appeared in places like Commemoration Day Square. It was precisely that founder and protector of Loen, the first king, William Augustus I.

Although he did not utter a word, his deep blue eyes were gradually stained golden, and the black mausoleum beneath his feet trembled slightly.

Feysac Kingdom, St. Millom, Twilight Giant Hall.

The sky, where time seemed to be forever frozen in the orange-red twilight, suddenly dimmed slightly, and then returned to normal.

Southern Continent, Star Plateau, on an altar embedded with eyeballs, arms, heads, and internal organs.

Blood-red light surged out like a tide, twisting into a deformed tree-like phantom.

With a buzzing sound, items such as human bones, candles, silver plates, and golden boxes all vibrated, as if they could scratch the spirit body.

The surrounding worshipers instinctively lowered their heads, prostrating themselves on the ground in confusion.

-----------------

Deep in the Berserk Sea, on a primitive island, at the end of a primeval forest with towering giant trees, stood a black mausoleum built into a mountain.

Inside the mausoleum covered with various symbols, on the central high platform filled with a sense of distortion, on that huge iron-black high-backed chair.

A black, blurry figure raised its head, its face completely shrouded in the shadow of order, looking towards the top of the mausoleum.

It seemed to be twisting some concept, examining an unknown space across layers of time and mist.

Its face then split open with two cracks, as if it had grown two asymmetrical eyes.

However, those "eyes" had no pupils, only a field of blood-red.

Immediately after, another crack opened below the two "eyes," also filled with pure blood-red light.

This finally gave the black figure a "mouth."

A dry, hoarse voice then echoed within this twisted space:

"King...dom...of...Dis...order..."

The voice carried a hint of hesitation, a bit of confusion, as if coming from another world, the tone carrying a clear sense of pain, as if resisting something.

More cracks appeared on the black figure, extending from the head downwards, opening blood-red flowers on different parts of the body, as if a layer of shadow wrapped a mass of pure, radiating blood-red light.

At the same time, the giant dark green, almost black trees on the primitive island waved their branches, successively pulled out their roots, and then, like humans, approached the mausoleum.
