ARYAN (calm, calculating)
Veergram will be the heart of our resurgence. Not just a city… but a fortress of hope.
A group of loyal generals and commanders approach, led by Veeraj, the cunning leader of Aryan's spy network, and Raghav, a tall, muscular warrior who's Aryan's elite follower.
VEERAJ (bowing slightly)
The spies report no enemy movement within a hundred miles, Your Highness. But… Varundev's mercenaries have been sighted near the border.
RAGHAV (gruff)
We will crush any who dare come. The people trust us now.
ARYAN (smiling faintly, eyes sharp)
Good. But trust is fragile. We must strengthen both blade and mind.
SCENE 2 – VEERGRAM MARKETPLACE – AFTERNOON
Aryan walks through the busy streets with Devika at his side. Merchants shout prices, children play, but Aryan's eyes miss nothing — noting supply routes, market conditions, and whispers of dissatisfaction.
DEVIKA (teasing)
You stare like you're solving the kingdom's problems one pebble at a time.
ARYAN (half-smile)
Every pebble shifts the mountain, Devika.
A sudden shout — a merchant struggles against a band of thugs extorting protection money.
ARYAN (stepping forward)
Enough.
The bandits freeze, recognizing Aryan's presence. Aryan signals Raghav and two warrior followers, who quickly subdue the thugs.
MERCHANT (relieved)

DEVIKA (quietly)

VEERAJ (pointing)

RAGHAV (clenching fist)
Let them come. We have the terrain and the people's loyalty.
ARYAN (cold and calm)

He looks at a hidden device—a communication array built by his spies.
ARYAN (to Veeraj)
Send agents here, here, and here. Disrupt their supply lines and morale. Make them doubt their own leaders.
