On March 21st a pair of eyes snapped opened staring at a grey full moon in the sky. Quickly sitting up and breathing heavily. The light of the moon began to show the appearance of a boy gripping onto his chest trying is hardest to catch his breath.
"Arashi are you ok!"
A voice of a woman called out. Running to the boy quickly.
"Hina?"
He said her name almost like he was unsure if he knew her. But of course he did he just said her name. But then again he was unsure if he even knew himself. No that was nonsense of course he did he was Arashi Uzumaki. But deep down oddly enough he felt like he was more than that. It was odd especially when he never had the thought before.
Bending down to his level and placing her hands on his shoulders Hina spoke.
"I need you to tell me what happened. Are you ok? Do your chest hurt?"
"No it's fine. I just had a bad dream that's all."
Wanting to make sure she placed a hand on his chest and it began imitating green light. He was surprised for a second and thought. 'Spiritual Energy?' But that didn't seem right. He felt like he was close but not quite.
"Well you seem fine. And your Chakra is still freakishly large."
Chakra that's what it was called! It was basic knowledge that everyone in the world knew about how could he forget something so simple. What's going on with him tonight?
"Well now that your awake let's go tonight's your special night after all."
Arashi was confused and asked.
"What's so special about tonight?"
Mina chuckled while still walking and turned to look at him.
"What else it's your birthday silly"
Widening his eyes in shock he couldn't believe he forgot something so important. As they continued to walk forward light was starting to be seen as they also heard people cheering and laughing. Once they finally made it out of the forest they entered a giant opening with people drinking, dancing, and some even sparring as a giant bonfire was in the middle of the clearing.
Taking a deep breath his mind finally started to calm. He knew where and who he was. This was home and he wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
"Well look who finally woke up. I was starting to think you wanted to sleep the whole party away."
A voice called out. Looking to his left Arashi saw who it was and smiled running into the arms of the man with the bottle in his hands.
"Uncle Pakku!"
"Whoa there squirt watch it before you get booze on you. I don't feel like hearing your mother bitching at me tonight!"
"Sorry I'm just happy to see you is all."
Pakku raised a eyebrow and started taking a swig of his booze. He looked over at a table and shouted.
"Hey Jubo come here for a second the kids awake!"
Looking over to the direction Pakku was looking Arashi saw two men sitting at a table arm wrestling. One was huge but the other was a Goliath of a man. When he heard Pakku call him over he instantly lifted the huge man in the air and slammed him on the table breaking it as if he was playing around with the man the whole time.
Walking over to the three he stood tall looming over all of them looking very intimidating. But in the next instant when he locked eyes with Arashi his menacing glare was then replaced with a smiling derpy look and he spoke.
"Happy Birthday Arashi!"
He shouted lifting the boy up and throwing him in the air catching him and sitting him on his shoulder. Everyone in the camp was family to him but these three were irreplaceable. Looking at his uncle Jubo he would often describe him as a bear. He had dark skin, a wild beard, brown eyes and short black hair. Add all that along with the scars around his body and the giant x cut on his face gave him and frightening look.
Looking at his uncle Jakku appearance his skin was on the lighter side. He had bright green eyes and long spikey brown hair that was in a pony tail.
"Ok be careful with him Jubo we can't risk him getting hurt tonight. Not at least until the boss returns."
Mina said trying to take Arashi down from his shoulder. Jubo moved away from her laughing loudly and exclaimed.
"There's no need to worry Mina. After all tonight's the night little Arashi becomes a man isn't that right everyone!"
He screamed as the whole camp went into a cheering frenzy. As the camp began cheering and chanting Arashi's name Jakku began to laugh and patted Mina's back while telling her Jubo has a point and she can't treat him like a baby anymore especially after tonight.
Mina sighed while watching Jakku guzzling down more of the bottle and spoke.
"You haven't forgotten what's gonna happen tonight right?"
"Course not"
"Then why are you drinking away like some idiot"
"Relax I'm just trying to loosen up for the fight later. And besides if something bad does happen you have my back right?"
Pakku says putting his hand on Mina's shoulder. But she didn't give him a response and instead looked at him coldly and pushed his hand off her walking away. Watching her retreating form, for some odd reason he began to get a bad feeling and shouted.
"You do have my back right…Right!"
Arashi laughed at the situation and watched Mina walking towards him and taking him off of Jubo's shoulder. Mina was a beautiful woman with pale skin and silver hair. Her bright blue eyes and pink lips made her look like royalty at times. Bending down and looking at Arashi she spoke.
"Arashi your 5 years old now. So it's true you can't be treated like a baby anymore especially after tonight."
"What's so important tonight that everyone keeps mentioning it?"
He asked finally tired of the secret.
"Because tonight's the night."
Pakku says finally finishing his bottle.
"For what?"
As if waiting to tell him this all night Pakku gave him a wry smile and said.
"Tonight's the night you go on your first raid"
