The hum of Noel's laptop was the only sound in the room.
Noel sat at his desk, fingers tapping slowly against the keyboard.
His brows were slightly furrowed, lips pressed in a thin line as he focused on the last bit of his assignment. Occasionally, he'd pause, glance at a sentence, backspace, rewrite.
Behind him — barely a breath away — Luca had slumped onto the edge of the bed, still half dressed from earlier.
He was supposed to be scrolling through his phone, maybe reading something. But somewhere between a blink and a sigh, sleep crept in.
Now he lay curled slightly, one arm lazily draped over a pillow, head tilted toward Noel's direction. His phone was still unlocked, screen dimmed, resting loosely in his hand.
Noel turned slightly to check the time… and caught sight of him.
A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
He spun his chair just enough to face him fully.
Luca's hair was a soft mess, a few strands falling over his closed eyes.
