Synopsis
What if your favorite story became your reality? David was just a regular high school student—with one obsession: a web novel about a magical world filled with epic battles, ancient bloodlines, and a mysterious genius who rises from nothing. After binge-reading the final chapter late into the night, he closes his eyes, wishing—just for a moment—that he could live in that world. He should have been careful what he wished for. When David wakes up, he’s no longer in his bedroom—but in the very world of the novel he loved. Worse, he’s not just any character—he’s inside the body of a minor background figure doomed to die early in the story. But David knows the plot, the twists, the secrets of the world… and he’s not planning to follow the script. Armed with knowledge of the future and the mind of a modern strategist, David begins reshaping his fate. He’ll defy destiny, outwit powerful nobles, and master the arcane arts faster than anyone thought possible. But as the story veers off its original path, new dangers emerge—ones even the novel never revealed. And soon, David must ask himself: Was he transmigrated into the story… or was the story written for him all along?

Chapter 1 - the final chapter

David lay sprawled on his bed, phone in hand, his eyes scanning the last few pages of his favorite light novel, "Genius Swordsman." He had followed the story from the beginning, from when the protagonist was a weak, bullied noble boy to when he became the strongest swordsman the world had ever known. Now, it was over.

"Damn... what a ride," David muttered, sighing as he stared at the glowing words: The End.

He tossed his phone on the table and laid back, arms spread wide, staring at the ceiling. Reality felt dull now that the novel had concluded. He glanced at the clock—it was 2:43 a.m.

"Better sleep," he mumbled.

Just as his consciousness began to drift into slumber, a strange light pulsed from his phone. It flickered wildly before bursting with a blinding glow that engulfed the entire room. David sat up, startled—but before he could react, everything faded to white.
