Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 - The Universe Originated from the XP Big Bang

Why does Nagami's café absolutely dominate all nearby competitors with overwhelming success?

The answer is simple.

MiHoYo's art team—eternal gods!

As a seasoned Captain, Commander, Master, Admiral… (the list goes on), Nagami didn't hesitate.

Backed by a generous budget, he painstakingly recreated all his favorite character outfits from the games he loved in his previous life.

These stunning costumes became the uniforms for his café staff. And every single employee? Handpicked, top-tier beautiful girls.

Naturally, the café became the go-to spot for the male population in the area.

But with prices intentionally set high, only customers with real financial power could afford to visit.

This, in turn, attracted two types of women:

Those looking to meet successful men.

And more surprisingly, those who came just to admire the cute girls.

To Nagami's amusement, the second group quickly outnumbered the first.

Truly, this world infected by Honkai memes was overwhelmingly yuri-friendly.

Thanks to this dynamic, only the most confident and beautiful young ladies dared to apply for jobs.

And those who did often came from elite families.

Through several cycles of this selective process, the café gradually evolved into a social hub for Nagazora City's young and wealthy elite.

Nagami had originally started the café just for fun—after all, he didn't need the money.

But the moment he introduced the idea of themed outfits as uniforms, business exploded.

Like, skyrocketed.

The customer feedback? Overwhelmingly positive. The staff? Loved it too.

Among all the outfits, the most popular—without question—were those designed by MiHoYo's artists.

Case in point: the moment Kiana appeared in her new outfit, the once-buzzing café went completely silent.

All eyes instinctively turned toward her, and every face lit up with stunned admiration.

But just as awe filled the room, Kiana opened her mouth—and the spell broke in an instant.

"Hey there~ Are you the boss here? I'm the new hire, Kiana Kaslana. Looking forward to working with you~!"

Wearing a radiant smile full of youthful energy—and a bridal gown, no less—Kiana practically bounced over to Nagami and held out her delicate hand.

Totally unbothered by appearances, she was the very image of cheerful confidence.

Her tone? Sounded like a mafia boss.

Nagami almost thought he'd walked into a live-action Honkai set.

Even the café manager beside her twitched visibly at the scene, mentally breaking down.

'Did she forget everything I just told her?!'

"Nice to meet you. I'm Nagami Kazomu," he said with a warm smile, shaking her hand briefly and letting go without hesitation.

Hearing her say something so on-brand for a Honkai protagonist, Nagami couldn't help but chuckle.

It reminded him of Hua's voice lines—something he hadn't heard outside of Hu Tao's chaotic banter in ages.

"So, what do you think of my café, Kiana?"

He gestured for her to take a seat at a nearby table, his tone as casual as if they were old friends.

"It's super, super nice! Best-paying job I've ever had! And the outfits are gorgeous!" she replied as she pulled her skirt to the side and plopped down across from him with a grin.

"Only downside is I can't keep my usual hairstyle. That's a shame."

Her words were sincere, with zero flattery—just her genuine thoughts.

Nagami looked at her glowing expression, those sky-blue eyes sparkling with life, the confident, dashing smile on her face.

He really did feel like he was catching up with a long-lost friend.

"Eh? I think long hair suits you. Way better than that old-fashioned braid you had before," he teased, ordering two mango smoothies as he spoke.

"No way! Long hair is a total pain to manage, okay?" Kiana shot back instinctively, her tone slipping into playful argument.

Even if she was often called a "herrscher roach" online, that nickname came from how often she zoned out in peaceful times.

People often forget—this girl had once journeyed across all of Europe alone.

Before the group chat had opened yesterday, if Nagami had been asked to pull off the same journey she did, he wasn't sure he would've survived it himself.

"So, Kiana… are you from Northern Europe? Why'd you end up here in Nagazora City?"

With a friendly smile, he thanked the waitress who brought over their drinks and pushed one of the orange-yellow smoothies toward her.

"Mmhmm! That's right!" she nodded twice with a beaming smile.

'This weird manager seems like a pretty good guy!'

Scooping a spoonful of smoothie into her mouth, she closed her eyes with bliss.

The cool mango flavor melted on her tongue, sweet and refreshing—pure happiness.

"I've been wandering around all this time just to find my long-lost dad!"

"That guy ditched me ages ago, and I have no idea where he ran off to. But once I find him, I'm totally gonna punch him right in the face!"

Kiana slammed her shaved ice onto the table, cheeks puffed with frustration as she swung her little fists in the air, clearly fired up at just the thought of her father.

"Wow… That's really impressive! Traveling this far all on your own?"

Nagami's sincere praise made Kiana scratch the back of her head awkwardly.

"Nagami, your café is always so busy. I bet you get tons of people coming in, right? Have you ever seen someone with white hair and blue eyes? His name's Siegfried."

A spark flashed through her brilliant blue eyes as if she suddenly remembered something.

She leaned in eagerly, eyes glowing as she looked at Nagami with anticipation.

"Nope, haven't seen him," Nagami replied casually, spreading his hands and shrugging.

"Business is booming, sure, but I spend most of my time at home gaming. You're better off asking your coworkers than me."

"Oh, right! You are the boss~" Kiana suddenly remembered, brushing a silky strand of hair behind her ear.

Her shoulder-length hair still felt unfamiliar to her.

The motion revealed her delicate, fair-skinned face, which shimmered under the sunlight like fresh snow.

Nagami calmly stirred the shaved ice in his crystal glass.

The soft clinking of the spoon against the ice was strangely soothing, like a sound that could quiet the soul.

"So where are you staying now? Is commuting here convenient for you?" Nagami asked naturally, like he was just checking in on a new hire.

"Ugh, don't even get me started! Even though your pay is amazing, boss, the rent around here is crazy expensive. I haven't found a decent place yet."

Stretching out her arms, Kiana collapsed onto the table like a dried fish, completely abandoning any effort to maintain her image.

"I've been crashing at a hotel way out on the outskirts of the city. It takes me two hours just to get to work!"

"That far, huh? Wanna stay at my place? It's pretty spacious~"

"…Huh?" Kiana jerked upright, staring at the boy in front of her like he'd just grown a second head.

They'd only just met, and now he was inviting a random pretty girl to live at his house?

She couldn't begin to understand what kind of logic he was working with.

If she hadn't already sensed that Nagami meant no harm, she might've called the cops on him or beat him up on spot.

"U-Uh… Nagami, are you… trying to hit on me?"

Still unsure of his intentions, she asked cautiously, her voice wavering.

She'd had this happen before—Kiana was more than confident in her looks, after all.

Every guy who tried anything funny with her had tasted Kiana's righteous fists of justice.

But Nagami… he had a calm, comforting presence that didn't feel threatening at all.

He didn't seem like a bad guy, so why was he saying something so wildly out of pocket?

"What do you think?" The teasing, lilting voice came from the entrance.

Kiana turned toward the sound—and froze.

A stunning girl stepped into view, dressed in a sleek black sleeveless evening dress that hugged her figure perfectly.

Her long, pristine green hair cascaded down like liquid mercury, and a sunhat adorned with a green ribbon rested gracefully on her head.

She moved with effortless elegance, every curve outlined beautifully by the sunlight.

Her bare shoulders were smooth and fair, and her legs—accentuated by tight black stockings—were a work of art.

The hem of her dress and the edge of her stockings created a dangerously alluring gap: the absolute zone.

With shopping bags in hand, CC strode confidently toward Nagami, set the bags down beside him.

"Ah! I-I didn't know he…" Caught in an awkward moment, Kiana could only force a polite yet painfully embarrassed smile.

Turns out she'd totally misread the situation.

Still, Kiana was the kind of girl everyone adored—better safe than sorry, right?

Well, that meant Nagami's offer really was just a kind gesture.

Feeling a little guilty for doubting him, she glanced at him with apologetic eyes.

But she wasn't the only one shocked.

Watching from a distance, the café's manager froze too.

The boss has a girlfriend?!

Just last time she asked, he'd said he was single!

That was fast!

Her smile twitched awkwardly.

Had she just introduced the future "other woman" to the boss's girlfriend?

If anyone figured out her little scheme, would she be fired on the spot?!

Meanwhile, Nagami remained blissfully unaware that the poor manager—whose name he'd already forgotten—was spinning up an entire drama in her head.
