1907
Francia
Paris
2 days have passed ever since Wilhelm was offered a place to stay. It was the same apartment complex that Jeanne was staying at.
The Apartment complex was cheap, and also with the help of Jeanne he was able to explore Paris without much of a problem. Disguising his ears was the right choice, and the people of Francia weren't able to notice him.
While Jeanne is currently away, Wilhelm is currently alone in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower. It was magnificent in real life, his past life wasn't able to see such scenery as this.
He imagined a scenery where he could feel the peaceful time, the birds singing above the skies, a beautiful and bright blue sky, and the sun shining on the tower with its full beauty. 'Until May where mighty Paris has fallen.' He is currently sitting down in a table, where he is eating some sweets.
'I wonder if the Deutsches Reich would also go through with the Schlieffen Plan?' He pondered as he tapped the fountain pen gently in the notebook.
He kept tapping it gently, until an idea began to emerge from his thoughts. Drawing them would be ambitious and dangerous, but he pondered more on what would happen.
'Should I affect History of this world if I give some portion of knowledge into the future of my world?'
'Or should I perhaps give my own controversial thoughts regarding Weltkrieg.'
But he decided to continue his plan for Master of Europe II, where this time he would begin to tell the tale of his old world's history, and it's up to the people of this world on how they would perceive it.
By writing everything, he might be treasoned, or even called a man from the future, but one thing is certain. A butterfly effect will occured the moment he already wrote Masters of Europe.
He knows he is denying some of the future problems, but if history is taking the same route as his old world, then history shall repeat itself, the rise of NSDAP after the Empire, and the Republic has fallen. The world will be shaken to its core once more.
While waiting, he began to humm a song. It was the famous song Radetzky March, he kept humming the song. He felt peace, as the birds began to fly, and the clouds slowly flew away, as the sun began to shine brightly further.
(AN: Would recommend listening to it.)
While some people passed by, he sensed something different. It was a Magic interference, especially a Magic that blocks sounds. He cast a silent magic that would pierce the barrier, but only the sounds would be transmitted to him. Despite being a noble, he trained his own magic, a magic to be able to perceive illusion or even a blockade. Since he was young he was already trained to use magic, but his offensive magic was the worst. To offset the weak offensive magic that he has, he made trickery and cunning ways to use his silent magic.
"So what will happen now?"
"The government is always treating us with problems! We must change this way."
"Then is there anything we could do?"
"Yes! Our syndicalist brothers and sisters shall help us, we must put the workers in charge! Our political government is hellbent on revenge." The Syndicalist supporters were raising their voice, but due to interference none of them would escape.
Except for Wilhelm. He is quietly listening to the Syndicalist supporters. 'If I remember, the Syndicalist movement started around 1900.' He was curious, but if he keeps prying into their conversation, he might get detected.
'But due to the War, the country decided to enact a national unity against the German Empire, and eventually Syndicalism died. I might be wrong, but this might be another reason for the rise of Communism in France. I don't have much information so I must refrain from taking actions, and guessing them.' He just ate some sweets, it mellowed his thoughts.
He stops snooping into their conversation and prioritizes his own safety. Until they finally stop talking, and pass Wilhelm. While Wilhelm took a last chance to look at them at the corner of his eye.
'They're quite young…' He looks at the Eiffel tower, while passing time.
While waiting for time, he put down his notebook at the table along with his fountain pen.
'Right, some important memories. If I remember Mussolini was a Syndicalist, and syndicalist did affect his movement into Fascismo.'
'He should be alive in this world, similar to his name, and also Adolf Schicklgruber.'
(AN: Some historical name, if you know.)
'I just hope they won't follow the same path, even if they have the same name.' He was dreaming that it wasn't true.
While taking another sweet, he saw Jeanne. This time he was the one who made the first one to do the greeting.
"Bonjour, Jeanne."
"Ah! Bonjour Wilhelm, enjoying the view?" Jeanne approached Wilhelm who was sitting at the table.
"Oui."
"I'm glad that you love it, and it seems you're not troubled anymore?"
"Yeah, frankly thanks to your help I managed to explore the city further than I anticipated."
"Oh yeah, did you manage to see two suspicious people around here?"
"Two suspicious people?" Wilhelm quickly recognizes what she means.
'The two syndicalists, I'm guessing Jeanne is an officer, or probably a Syndicalist as well?'
"Ignore that! It's quite rude for me to ask that question."
"If you don't mind, why are you trying to find them?"
"Well it's not like you're gonna do anything about it, but if you see anything suspicious, well tell me, but I can tell you this instead, they're dangerous. For the safety of our people."
"Magnificent answer Ms. Jeanne, well as a thanks I can offer you some information. Perhaps the people that you are investigating are Syndicalists right?"
"How did you know?" Her eyes quickly change into something dangerous, a cautious wolf is now eyeing at an Elfen.
While Wilhelm was unfazed by her sudden change of voice. "Now, don't be like that, I'm already helping you aren't I?"
"You think I'm not worried about how casually you said those words so easily?"
"Well you're right, but I'm guessing these two people are two males that are around 19-18 years old. They are around 176-180 cm tall, and they have brown and black hair."
"That's fairly accurate to my description."
"Oh, then you're not far, they just went that way like 5 minutes ago." He pointed behind his back.
Jeanne quickly looks at the direction, and her eyes slowly change and some veins appear, and it was her using magic to enhance her vision.
Jeanne then tapped his shoulder. "Thank you for the information."
"No problem, I'm glad I could be a help for your justice."
"Right, I'm treating you for free after this charade!" Jeanne happily said.
Leaving Wilhelm alone.
"That was a quick conversation." He smiled.
Wilhelm stood up, and went back to his apartment.
