Tristan flinched when the sound of the door forcing open startled him.
He had expected to see an angry Alpha Raul storm inside but his mouth slowly opened speechlessly as Alpha Mitch walked inside instead.
His eyes were cold and his face expressionless. His hair was a mess and his beard had grown to an unexpected length.
Alpha Mitch scanned the room briefly until his eyes landed on Tristan at the corner, the pen still held to his neck as he seemed to have frozen on the spot.
Alpha Mitch didn't even spare the maids any glance as he approached the Omega.
Wordlessly, he took the pen out of his hand and threw it to the ground without looking or asking. He then picked him up effortlessly without looking at the Omega. It was as if he was a robot.
Tristan however, could not take his eyes off him.
His heart was beating so loudly that he could almost hear it.
