Aoki Hiroshi spent the entire day in intense training, pushing his body and Nen to their limits under the surge of his unlocked Gene Lock.
Raiden: Thunderclap!Raiden: Falling Strike!Raiden: Lightning Dragon Tornado!Raiden: Thunder Beast Fang!Raiden: False Darkness!Raiden: Heavy Stream Storm!
Each of these techniques was a direct reproduction of thunder-style jutsu from the Naruto world—remade with Nen under his Henka-kei: Den (Transformation-Type: Electricity) system.
Where others needed decades to master such advanced shape manipulation, Hiroshi pulled it off effortlessly, thanks to the Gene Lock.
Off to the side, Biscuit Krueger stood slack-jawed.
This isn't just Transformation… He's blending multiple Nen categories together...
Transformation, Manipulation, Emission, Enhancement...
This is the secret art of Renzan…!
"I spent years breaking into Renzan," Biscuit muttered, stunned."And he just waltzes into it in one day..."
It was hard to watch.
The term Renzan (Linked Mountain) refers to Nen mastery that centers on a user's primary category while integrating its two adjacent types to form a powerful, versatile system—shaped like the character "山".
It's considered the milestone of a first-rate Nen user.
Just as mastering advanced techniques sets you apart as elite, breaking into Renzan qualifies you for the top ranks of Hunters.
"Don't look at me like that, Biscuit."
Hiroshi returned from his training, breathing heavily as he sat and entered a state of Zetsu to recover.
He'd already used up all three Cookie-chan massages for the day. Now he'd have to endure the Gene Lock's backlash unaided.
"My Nen ability is literally built for learning across all five categories," he added."Renzan really isn't a challenge for me."
"You think I believe that?" Biscuit snorted.
If it were that simple, every Nen user would be doing it.
Even many Three-Star Hunters spent decades just getting the basics of Renzan down.
And yet here was Aoki Hiroshi—who'd only been training for a single day—already breezing through it.
This is outrageous...
"Well, let's just say you believe me," Hiroshi replied with a shrug."Anyway—let's eat."
"Hmph." Biscuit scoffed, but reached for her bento without hesitation.
These weren't just any meals—they were gourmet-grade dishes infused with Nen, prepared by licensed Gourmet Hunters.
They helped accelerate training, recover stamina, and replenish aura reserves.
The effect wasn't extreme, but Aoki was filthy rich.
He was eating five of these elite meals per day.
And cumulatively? His growth was absurd.
His manifest aura and latent capacity were skyrocketing.
"Among Two-Star Hunters, your aura pool is already elite," Biscuit observed.
Because she shared in the gourmet meals as well, she didn't protest his smug attitude—for now.
"I see," Hiroshi said indifferently.
He had started off as a normal human, physically weaker than the average person.
Meanwhile, in this world, even civilians had superhuman potential.
Take Gon, for example—before even learning Nen, the kid fished up monsters weighing tons and pushed through two-ton gates.
Completely bonkers.
Still, now that Hiroshi had Nen—and those gourmet meals enhancing his recovery—his body was rapidly catching up.
His physical shortcomings were fading fast.
That night, after finishing his training, Aoki Hiroshi returned to the hotel to sleep.
Biscuit, meanwhile, headed to the Hunter Association branch.
She found a quiet place and dialed Chairman Netero's number.
Ring...
The call was quickly answered.
"How's the training going, Biscuit?" Netero asked with a cheerful tone.
"It's going too well," Biscuit said, sounding half-exasperated."Can you believe it? He broke into Renzan on the first day!"
On the other end, Netero went silent for a moment.
"Wait... I thought you were helping him develop his Hatsu," he asked, clearly confused."Why are we talking about Renzan?"
"Oh, he'd already developed it before I arrived," Biscuit replied dryly.
She was numb by now.
PFFT!
Netero nearly spat out his tea.
"He already developed a Hatsu!? That fast!?"
"Didn't he awaken Nen just yesterday!?"
His voice was full of shock.
"Believe me, I was there," Biscuit sighed."I watched him go from scratch to Renzan right in front of me."
Netero went silent again.
For the first time in years, a rare expression of genuine surprise crossed his face.
Day One: Awaken Nen, self-learn Ten, Zetsu, Ren, Hatsu, plus advanced techniques.Defeats one of the Royal Guard.Day Two: Develops Hatsu and breaks into Renzan.
Is this guy even human...?
Netero rubbed his temple, feeling his worldview tilt.
"Old man, I swear," Biscuit said with a chuckle."At this rate, he might surpass you within a year."
"Hahaha! That'd be wonderful," Netero laughed.
"It really would," Biscuit agreed with a smile.
Despite philosophical differences, Netero was genuinely pleased to see new talent rise—so long as they didn't threaten humanity's well-being.
"So what's his Hatsu type?" Netero asked.
"Specialist," Biscuit replied."It's called Kanzen no Hito—The Perfected One."
"It cancels the Specialist's usual incompatibility with other Nen systems. He can learn and master all five Nen categories."
Netero's eyes narrowed.
Kanzen no Hito...
That aligns suspiciously well with some of my own theories...
"Chairman?" Biscuit asked, noting his silence.
"Ah, sorry—I zoned out," Netero said with a smile."That's a fascinating ability."
"To sacrifice the present for an infinite future..."
"With his talent, he might actually become a master of all Nen systems."
"I think so too," Biscuit nodded.
They discussed the state of the NGL Autonomous Region for a bit longer, then ended the call.
