Later that day, after the interview was over, Hailey went back home to rest.
When it was time for dinner, she headed down to eat, only for her to find Killian already setting food down on the table.
Hailey wasn't surprised to see that he'd arrived from work. Since Aiden's death, he was always two hours early, making her wonder if he truly wanted to or just because of what the public would say. And since she was mostly stuck in her room, practicing her next scenes, she always didn't hear when he arrived.
"I was just about to call you down for dinner," he commented, setting a dish on the table.
"You cooked?" She asked, shock evident in her tone.
They'd been living together for over a month now, but this was the first time she'd seen him cook.
"Of course. Felt like doing something other than burying my head in documents all the time," he replied.
Hailey glanced at his apron and couldn't help but find him cute. "I didn't know you cooked."
