Chapter 16 - MA vs MA order of operations

The difference between M and A in the order of operations acronyms comes down to whether they refer to a single operation or a group of operations:

M can mean:

Multiplication only (as in PEMDAS, BODMAS, BIDMAS, etc.)

Multiplicative operations (as in GEMA), which means both multiplication and division together, since they are performed at the same precedence level and from left to right.

A can mean:

Addition only (as in PEMDAS, BODMAS, BIDMAS, etc.)

Additive operations (as in GEMA), which means both addition and subtraction together, since they are performed at the same precedence level and from left to right.

So, the key difference is:

When M or A stands for just one operation, it refers to that operation alone.

When M or A stands for a group (multiplicative or additive), it means both operations at that level are treated equally and performed left to right!

AMA=MAMA in the correct order just FYI

okay I want you to put it in this order pgb (ei in parentheses) specifically mention (ei²) = or oOoOo (side note is covered v oxygen divided). nope it's carbon til covered! copy?! lol

k sorry pgb(ei)²=/WE1A3A1 saw us! criss cross 🤞❌ apple os dTS! app lines!
