It was a snowy morning.
That little café nestled in the hills of Manali felt unusually crowded today.
The moment you stepped inside, the scent of wood and freshly brewed coffee wrapped around you like a warm blanket.
And there, in one corner, sat Aditi.
Wrapped in a black coat, her hair open, and a faint trace of irritation on her face.
She looked like she was fighting with herself. Or maybe tangled in the memory of someone she wasn't ready to let go.
And just then…
A tall shadow stopped at her table.
"You're the one who wrote 'jerk' on my car window, aren't you?"
The voice was deep, cold, sharp like a knife dipped in snow.
Aditi looked up. Standing in front of her was a man in a black coat. Everything about him was perfect, from his shoes to his hair.
He didn't look like a model. He looked like a hunter.
She replied calmly,
"Maybe you're not used to seeing a mirror lately. I just helped out."
Her voice carried sarcasm, but no fear.
The man didn't laugh. He simply pulled out a chair and sat down.
"What's your name? I've already tasted your poison. Might as well know who served it."
"Aditi. And you?"
"Aryan Malhotra. I've entered your life faster than you expected. Leaving won't be that easy."
