She looked around and her eyes locked with her mother's guilty eyes making her remember her father's last wish.

"Lila can you hold my hand?" Mr brown said to his daughter as he struggles to lift his hand, Lila held his hand tight with tears in her eyes.
"Dad please don't leave us." Lila said crying.
" I will always be with you Lila, I wish I could stay longer but I can't, I love you and your sister so much take good care of your mom and your sister u have to be a strong woman Lila " he paused and coughed then continue.
" Never turn your back on your family Lila , I love you so much," he said in a low voice that could hardly be heard by Lila ." Daddy please I can't do anything without you, how are we going to live without you dad please stay, nothing can happen to you," Lila said in tears as her father breath heavily and finally stopped breathing, she cried her eyes out.
" Dad please don't scare me wake up please, doctor, doctor she screamed untop of her voice.

** Lila POV**
I screamed so loud but it felt like only I can hear my voice, sorry dad I couldn't save you. My dad as been the best father we could even asked for, how could mother do this, but why??
I looked around and saw my little sister aria crying like her world as ended, we love our father so much, I went close to her and held her on my chest like her mother.
" Why is dad not waking up Lila, as dad really left us, why isn't he replying to me, I can't hear him call my name Lila," I hugged her tightly not knowing what to reply with tears couldn't stop gushing out of my eyes, tho I might be daddy's favorite but Aria is daddy's girl. She cried in my hand till she fall asleep like a baby even though she's 18 already, I looked at her teary eyes like she's still weeping in her sleep. I called Elizabeth our maid to take her to her room.
Mr brown was buried and the funeral ended and everyone left. Leaving the family to themselves. Lila look at her mom one more time and went to her room.
Lila sat on her bed sadly when her phone suddenly rang it Maya her best friend.
"Hello Maya" Lila said after picking the call.
" How are you feeling now Lila do you want me to come over?" Maya said sympathizing with Lila.
" No am fine, it late already we see tomorrow " she replied.
" Are you sure? Have you eaten?" Maya asked.
" I will when am done with what am doing ." Lila respond with the saddest voice ever. Maya could tell from her voice that she was crying.
" I know you are going through a lot but you have to be strong Lila, your family needs you, I need you, please stop crying, I know it hurts but you need to be very strong, I know you Lila , you are brave and strong and don't worry everything will be fine." Maya said trying to console her.
" But how Maya, how am I going to leave without dad, how am I to keep this secret to myself." She said frustrated .
" What secret?" Maya asked confused. Lila realized she hasn't told anyone about her
mother's did. She couldn't tell maya about it.
" It nothing Maya let's talk tomorrow bye." She said and quickly hang up. She laid down on her bed and think till she fell asleep.
