Chapter 39 - Ch-39 "Isabela’s Supremacy Unleashed"

Scene shifts to the royal mansion of South Ryehem, where Empress Isabela lay resting in her chambers. The night was calm — until a thunderous, bone-shaking roar shattered the silence. It wasn't an ordinary sound; it was the unmistakable, ferocious bellow of two adult dragons. The ground itself seemed to tremble under its power, and every soul within the kingdom heard it, hearts gripped by a mixture of awe and dread.

Dragons — ancient beasts as mighty as a human at Physical Refining Tier 4. But while the dragons possessed only raw strength and brute force, Isabela not only stood at Tier 4 but also wielded Spiritual Force, a power that made her immeasurably stronger than the dragons.

Scene shifts to just moments later, as Isabela appeared near the outermost edge of South Ryehem's Protective Barrier. The two colossal dragons were already descending upon it, their claws and fiery breath hammering against the invisible wall, causing it to flicker and strain under the assault. Civilians in the distant city streets looked up in terror as the beasts loomed above.

Without hesitation, Isabela gave a sharp command."Lower the barrier," she ordered.

The guards nearby hesitated, their faces painted with fear and confusion."B-but Your Majesty—" one stammered.

"Do it now," she repeated, her voice firm as iron.

Though baffled, the guards obeyed, deactivating the protective barrier with trembling hands. The air grew heavy as the barrier shimmered away.

The dragons, sensing an opening, lunged forward—but before they could even breach the kingdom's borders, Isabela's eyes flared with azure energy. She raised her hand and invoked one of her most feared techniques:"Spiritual Telekinesis."

An unseen, overwhelming force slammed into the dragons like a tidal wave. The mighty beasts roared in shock as their bodies were hurled backwards through the air, crashing into the rocky cliffs beyond the borders.

Without losing momentum, Isabela's form blurred, moving at supersonic speed—so fast that a sharp crack split the night air, the sound barrier itself breaking in her wake.

The dragons, regaining their footing, roared once more, this time in anger and defiance. Though they could travel at similar speeds, it was only while airborne. Even then, they had never faced a foe like Isabela before — a warrior who not only matched their strength but commanded an entire otherworldly power beyond their comprehension.

The night sky seemed to hold its breath as the battle between empress and dragon began to unfold.
