Morvin had to lay there, stuck, feeling the immense rage coming from the maid who had only one thing on her mind: to kill Morvin. The very moment she had become the maid of the Crawford's she had been sent to go take care of the incompetent heir of the barony.
She hated it she had tried to get this job to get stable housing out of the slims she grew up in but no she was sent straight back to the slums with this child. She had not been truly told about him so when all he did was stay in bed all day she first tried to get him up but he just layed back down. She thought him lazy so she just began to do the bare necessity's such rarely feeding him. Or taking him to the toilet very rarely.
But today she cracked who was this boy to just lay there ever day contributing nothing. He was spiritless. He can't do anything to defend himself.
'So if I kill him, I can just say that he eventually died of natural causes.'
With that thought, she stood and slowly strided through the mulch.
Crunch
All of the mulch slowly fell onto her bed in the corner of the room. This being the only clean place in the small home, she had another thought.
'If he can just lie in that bed all day and not get up, there is an even less chance of being hurt while killing him.'
Now she was above him, raising her fist. And it shot down, colliding with his stomach, his body, although paralysed, lurched forward, vomiting everything. The maid was disgusted. This was one of her two sets of uniform, and now it was covered in a soup she had fed him yesterday.
She would now have to make the hike to the river to wash it. She did not have a stable supply of water since her spirit left her. The more she looks at morvin the hatred she felt.
Bang, bang, bang. She continued to pummel him, the more she hi,t the closer he got to death.
"May I know what is going on here?"
Suddenly a small high pitch voice echoed around the house as a small black orb approached. The maid slowly turned around to look a the spirit which had just called out to her.
"Huh, oh, I was just getting rid of a vile being with no future, being a lazy scoundrel."The maid said, giving him one final kick to the head, which finally knocked him out
"Because I sense some dark magic coming from him, it is obvious that he has been cursed."
"Wait what cursed I wasn't told anything about this, hang on if you can tell that you must be a very strong spirit. You must also be here for me since you said that he was cursed." The maid said exuding an immense amount of arrogance.
"Oh, you think I'm strong? Well, I am strong for a tier 1, but overall, I am not. Also coming here for you, no, I did not."
" Then why did you come here if not for me? Surely you are not here for him,m right?"
The maid slowly looks towards the maid and then looks down at the unconscious Morvin.
"That boy that you decided to try and kill is the only one worthy of me! You have no right to believe that you, who have already been left by your spirit for betraying their trust!" The spirit looked down on the maid. It's bad hatred growing.
It was now glowing with an unholy light.pure negation was emminating from it's form. At this point the building was slowly folding inwards. The pure strength of a spirit was now forming before her. This spirit that claimed to be a tier 1 had strength far beyond even a tier 3 which was the the average spirit for knights.
The maid then spoke up, fear visible in her voice.
" Why him he's worthless, according to you he's cursed and is unable to even move so why would you want him?
"Because his talent is far beyond mortal comprehension. That is why."
The house had now been utterly destroyed. Around the spirit were now two beings, the form of a malnourished teenager flowing towards it and a cowering maid, her body slowly shrinking.
Just as morvin reached the spirit his eyes opened. Shock was present in them. Just as the spirit was going to heal the boy a roar echoed just outside the reckage.
"What is going on here?!"
