Location: New York Sanctum, Strategy Chamber
Time: 13 Days Before the Arrival
The enchanted windows of the Sanctum shifted, showing skies from different time zones. Inside, the chamber buzzed with the voices of soldiers, geniuses, spies, and sorcerers.
A new portal opened with a thunderclap, and Bruce Banner walked in flanked by Wanda Maximoff, Vision, and Pietro Maximoff, the latter in a hoodie and moving fast enough to accidentally knock over a chair.
"Sorry!" Pietro said, zooming back to set it upright. "Still getting used to magical doorways."
New Faces, Familiar Pressure
Tony raised a brow. "Banner, you brought the whole enhanced family?"
Banner smiled sheepishly. "They insisted. Vision's got the Mind Stone in his head, Wanda's connected to it somehow, and Pietro's...well, he's fast."
Wanda smiled faintly. "We heard there's a war coming. We want in."
Mark, from the corner, held up a mug that read "Multiversal Menace Support Group" and gestured them in. "We're forming the world's weirdest football team. Welcome."
Rhodey Asks the Big Question
Rhodey crossed his arms, eyes shifting from Vision's glowing gem to Strange's amulet.
"Alright. Time-out. Can someone explain these Infinity Stones once and for all? No riddles. No mystic hand gestures. Just... English."
Everyone turned to Doctor Strange, who raised a brow... then pointed at Wong without a word.
Wong sighed. "Fine. Story time."
Wong's Lecture – The Infinity Stones, Simplified
Wong stepped into the center of the room, conjuring six glowing orbs in the air — each one pulsing with cosmic energy.
"Infinity Stones are remnants of the six singularities that existed before the universe. When the Big Bang occurred, these singularities were forged into six elemental crystals. Each controls an essential aspect of existence."
He pointed to each as they floated:
Space: A glowing blue stone. "Allows for teleportation and manipulation of distance."
Mind: A yellow gem. "Influences consciousness, intellect, even artificial life. Vision houses this one."
Reality: A shifting red mist. "Can alter the fabric of existence — turn illusion into truth, and truth into chaos."
Power: A crackling purple core. "Grants immense strength. Unrestrained, it can destroy planets."
Time: A swirling green sphere. "Governs time. Slow it. Loop it. Reverse it. Doctor Strange guards this."
Soul: A deep orange glow. "The most mysterious. Tied to life, death, and perhaps... the afterlife."
Rhodey raised a hand. "So we're talking god-tier stuff."
"Correct," Wong said. "Individually, they're dangerous. Together, they can wipe out half of all life in the universe. Or worse."
The Reactions
Wanda looked at Vision, concern etched on her face.
Banner rubbed the back of his neck. "And Thanos wants them all."
Strange finally spoke. "He won't get them. Not if we act first."
Pietro muttered, "No pressure."
Mark Lightens the Mood
Mark leaned against the wall, arms folded.
"Well, now that we've confirmed we're fighting a genocidal purple space titan armed with reality-breaking Legos… who's hungry?"
Peter Parker whispered to Shuri, "So… are we the 'Junior Avengers' or...?"
Shuri replied with a smirk, "Don't give them naming rights, they'll call it something ridiculous like 'Infinity Bros.'"
