"In Your Orbit"
( Something Sensual )
The music throbbed through the club like a second heartbeat - loud, pulsing and alive. Bodies swayed under neon lights, soaked in heat and sweat and longing. But Kai only saw one person through the blur of color and chaos.
Ren.
He stood at the bar like he owned gravity itself. Dressed in black, sleeves pushed up, neck glistening with a thin sheen of sweat. His gaze was cool, heavy and intentional, as it dragged across the room until it landed on Kai. And stayed.
Their eyes locked. Kai felt the tug immediately. That magnetic pull, like the air between them was wired.
He walked forward, barely breathing, every step drawn to Ren like planets pulled to a star.
Ren's lips curved in a slow smirk. "Dance with me."
It wasn't a question. It was an inevitability.
Kai approached Ren, and Ren met him halfway - sliding his arms around Kai's neck, fingers curling gently into the hair at his nape. Kai's hands gripped Ren's waist with a quiet desperation, pulling him in until there was no space left between them.
Their bodies pressed, sliding together with practiced ease. Sweat and longing. Fingers traced the bare skin beneath their shirts. Sparks shot through every brush of their lips and every teasing grind of their hips.
Kai's breath caught as Ren leaned in, voice low and burning.
"You want to claim me, don't you?"
Kai didn't answer, he didn't need to.
He looked at Ren as he pulled him closer and kissed him like he already had, like he wanted to.
Ren answered without hesitation, mouth parting, tongue teasing, giving as much as he took. Their kiss deepened, wet and consuming, tasting of heat and neon and want.
Kai's fingers pressed into Ren's lower back, Ren's nails skimmed his neck. They kissed like the club didn't exist. Like time didn't matter.
Kai didn't know where he ended and Ren began. And just when the heat became unbearable-
Bzzz. Bzzz. Bzzz.
His eyes shot open.
Kai e lay in bed, tangled in sheets, chest heaving, lips parted. The sun was barely up. His alarm clock blinked beside him.
It was a dream.
Onlya dream.
But it still burned under his skin like it had been real.
"What was I even thinking?" He muttered as he shook his head, smiling it off like it didn't matter much.
But part of him wished desperately that it had been real.
