Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Harry Potter's POV

Date: Saturday September 15th, 1990

Time: 07:00 am (0700 hours)

It was early, the sun just starting to rise as I stepped out of the house that in back . The air was cool and crisp, with a slight breeze that brushed against my face. I was heading toward the library font doors, It had always been a quiet place, a sanctuary of sorts, especially on weekends when it was closed. But today, something felt off

Voices and Lots of them.

I slowed my pace, listening carefully. Military-sounding voices. That wasn't right. The library was always empty on Sundays, so why were there people…police, from the sound of it…moving around as if they were searching for something? Or…someone.

As I reached the entrance, I cautiously opened the door, only to be greeted by the sight of military police, officers in crisp uniforms walking through the library, scanning the area, some whispering into radios. I swallowed hard, confusion washing over me. This wasn't normal.

Before I could even gather my thoughts, a female officer approached me, her uniform sharp, her gaze intense. She was holding a photo in her hand, and as she came closer, I could see it was…me. A younger version, maybe, but undeniably me. She stopped right in front of me, looking slightly startled but composed.

"Have you seen a boy named…Harry James Potter?" she asked, holding the photo up. "Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, the Queen of England, is looking for him. She says she's his adoptive grandmother."

Her words hit me like a bolt of lightning. My head spun as I tried to process it. The Queen of England? My adoptive grandmother? That meant…Lilly…my mother…was somehow connected to the royal family. My heart raced as I tried to put the pieces together. It was all so overwhelming, but something inside me clicked. This felt…right.

I straightened up, trying to hold myself together. "I'm Harry Potter…the person you are looking for, miss..," I said, feeling the weight of those words for the first time. The female officer blinked in surprise, clearly not expecting to find me so quickly. She recovered quickly, though. "I am Major Amelia Dorian…," she introduced herself, still in shock as she stared at me. "...Of the Surrey Police Department...Mr. Potter. "

"Follow me," I told her, my mind racing as I motioned for her to come with me. I led her out though the library, toward the house, my heart thudding in my chest. There were too many questions, too many unknowns, but I knew one thing…I needed to tell Fleur and Gabrielle what was happening.

As we reached the house, I saw Amelia's eyes widen in shock. She had been to the library many times, as most people in Surrey had, but no one ever saw what was on the other side of the door….my home. The magic that surrounded it kept the mortal world at bay. I could feel her confusion as she looked around, trying to make sense of what she was seeing.

I brought her inside and introduced Fleur and Gabrielle to her, who were sitting together in the living room, both of them immediately sensing something was wrong the moment we walked in. Fleur's eyes met mine, concern flashing across her face. "Harry, what's going on?" she asked, her voice steady but filled with worry.

I took a deep breath, trying to keep my emotions in check. "The police…they're searching for me. And apparently, Queen Elizabeth is my adoptive grandmother. Which means my mother, Lilly, was somehow connected to the royal family."

Gabrielle's hand flew to her mouth, her eyes wide with shock. "The Queen…is your grandmother, Harry?"

Fleur was still processing everything, but I could see her mind working, trying to make sense of it all. Before she could say anything more, there was a sudden rush of energy in the room, a presence that sent a shiver down my spine, one of love.

I turned to see my mother, Athena, standing in the middle of the room. Her regal figure radiated power, her eyes scanning the room with purpose. Amelia's gasp cut through the air as she instinctively reached for the Colt M1911A1 pistol at her side, clearly caught off guard by Athena's sudden appearance.

"Lady Athena, what are you…?" Amelia's voice was laced with shock, her hand frozen just above her weapon as she tried to make sense of what she was seeing. Fleur, Gabrielle, and I exchanged a glance, realizing at that moment that Amelia wasn't just any mortal. She could see Athena….she was either a Clear-Sighted mortal or something more. The pieces clicked in my mind. "She's a demigod," I whispered, more to myself than anyone else in the room, as the truth sank in.

Athena's gaze turned to Amelia, a knowing smile tugging at her lips. "Yes, she is. And not just her. The others in the library, the military police…they are demigods as well. Most of the members of the United Kingdom's military and police force carry godly blood, but the royal family… they are bound by ancient ties."

Amelia nodded, still processing everything, her hand finally dropping away from her weapon. "Most of us have known about it for generations," she admitted quietly, her eyes flicking to Athena with respect. "But to see it… to see you…"

I watched as Fleur and Gabrielle's expressions shifted, a mix of awe and understanding passing between them. The weight of the revelation hung in the air, and for the first time, everything started to make sense. I cleared my throat, turning back to Amelia. "So, the Queen… she's been looking for me?"

"Yes," Amelia confirmed, her voice steady now. "She's been trying to locate you for some time. You are… important to the royal family, Harry. And to the demigods."

Fleur's hand slipped into mine, her fingers tightening around mine as we all stood in the quiet of the moment, the enormity of it all sinking in. There was so much to understand, so much to figure out, but for now, one thing was clear.

Time ship: 10 minutes later

The morning air inside the library felt strangely still, despite everything that had just happened. Fleur, Gabrielle, and I stood together, while my mother, Athena, observed quietly from the side. Major Amelia Dorian stood at attention, her posture firm but her eyes still flickering with disbelief at what she had witnessed. Next to her was another woman in military uniform….Major Alsion Josette, the leader of the operation that had taken over the library.

They both seemed uneasy in the presence of Athena, but their professionalism held strong. I could feel the weight of their gaze on me, a mix of expectation and respect. Major Josette stepped forward, clearing her throat before speaking. "Prince Harry, we've received word that the Queen is on her way here to meet you. She's bringing a small entourage, including some members of the military. One of them is Colonel Mark Granger, and he's bringing his daughter, Hermione Jean Granger."

My heart skipped a beat at the mention of Hermione's name. That was a name I knew well, even though we had never formally met. I'd heard stories, and whispers through the magical bonds that connected me to her. Fleur and Gabrielle exchanged a quick glance with me, both of them understanding exactly what this meant. "She's been talking about you non-stop, Prince Harry," Amelia added, her voice softening just a little. "Saying things only someone soul-bound would know."

I took a deep breath, my mind racing. Hermione Jean Granger…she was one of them. One of the twenty-one, just like Fleur and Gabrielle. It seemed the bond was calling us together, even without me realizing it. "She's one of them," I said, my voice steady but filled with awe. "One of the twenty-one. Just like Fleur and Gabrielle."

Gabrielle's eyes sparkled with excitement at the news, while Fleur's hand slipped into mine, her grip gentle yet firm. The bond between us had already formed, and now we were slowly discovering the others, one by one. It was surreal, but it felt right.

I glanced at the clock hanging on the far wall. It read 7:10 a.m. We didn't have much time before the Queen arrived. Major Josette must have noticed me checking the time because she spoke up again. "The Queen and her party will be here in about fifteen minutes," she said, her tone matter-of-fact. "That should give you enough time to prepare…maybe make a light breakfast?"

I nodded, suddenly realizing how hungry I was. Fleur and Gabrielle hadn't eaten yet either, and the past few hours had been emotionally draining. Breakfast sounded like a good idea, and it would give us something to focus on before the Queen arrived.

"Fleur, Gabrielle, let's make something simple," I suggested, my voice a little lighter now. "We've got time." Fleur smiled, her eyes warm as she nodded. "A light breakfast sounds perfect." Gabrielle grinned and tugged on my hand. "Let's go, Harry! We can't meet a queen on an empty stomach!"

Together, we headed toward the kitchen area, leaving Major Dorian and Major Josette to exchange glances behind us. I could still feel the weight of the moment pressing down on my shoulders, but for a brief moment, I allowed myself to focus on something simple…something normal. Cooking breakfast with Fleur and Gabrielle felt grounding in a way that nothing else could.

We moved around the kitchen with practiced ease, the three of us working together as though we'd done this a thousand times. Fleur cracked eggs into a bowl while Gabrielle set the table. I found some bread and popped it into the toaster, the smell of breakfast slowly filling the air. For a few minutes, everything felt almost…peaceful.

"I can't believe Hermione is one of the twenty-one," Gabrielle mused as she set the plates on the table. "I've heard about her, but I never thought we'd meet her like this." Fleur chuckled softly. "We were bound to meet her eventually, Gabrielle. The bond is drawing us all together." I nodded, flipping the eggs in the pan. "It's strange, though. We haven't even met in person yet, and somehow, she's been feeling the bond just like us."

"That's the power of love and magic," Fleur said, her voice soft but filled with certainty.

We continued working together, and by the time the clock ticked to 7:20 a.m., breakfast was ready. Simple but comforting…Brestfest steak, scrambled eggs, toast, and some fruit. We sat down at the table, the smell of warm food filling the air, and for a moment, I allowed myself to forget about the Queen, the military, and everything else that awaited us outside. It was just the three of us, sharing a quiet meal.

But the peace didn't last long. At 7:25, there was a knock at the door. My heart skipped a beat as reality rushed back in. Fleur exchanged a look with me, her eyes filled with reassurance. "It's time," she said gently, standing up from the table. I took a deep breath and stood as well, Gabrielle at my side. Together, we made our way to the door, where Major Dorian and Major Josette were already waiting.

"Are you ready, Harry?" Major Josette asked, her voice steady and calm. I nodded, the weight of everything settling back onto my shoulders. This was it...the moment everything changed. The Queen, the military, Hermione...it was all happening. And somehow, I felt ready.

The door creaked open, and standing before me was Queen Elizabeth herself, regal as ever, with Hermione Granger at her side. I blinked for a moment, taking in the sight. The Queen of England, my grandmother, and Hermione, one of my soul mates. It felt surreal.

Hermione's eyes darted around, curiosity lighting up her face. I could tell that she was buzzing with excitement, though she held herself together quite well. Queen Elizabeth stood tall, calm, and collected, though I could sense the weight of history and expectation in her presence. Behind them, Colonel Mark Granger was busy in conversation with the military police about reinforcing security, but my focus was on Hermione and the Queen.

"Welcome, Your Majesty," I said, bowing slightly, then gesturing for them to come inside. "Please, come in." Hermione's eyes flicked toward my leg, where my Colt Python sat securely in its tactical holster. Her eyebrows shot up, and before I could say anything, she blurted out, "Is that a Colt Python?" I couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm. With a light chuckle, I unholstered the revolver and handed it to her carefully. "Yes, it is."

Her eyes widened in awe as she examined the firearm, her fingers tracing the intricate engravings of coiling snakes along the barrel and frame. The polished nickel finish caught the light, making it look almost otherworldly. It was more than just a weapon….it was a masterpiece, a work of art. She marveled at the custom-made grip that matched the engravings, looking as though it had been crafted by a master, or rather, a god.

"It's beautiful," she whispered, almost reverently. I smiled softly. "My father, Hephaestus, made it for me." Hermione's head snapped up at that, her eyes filled with surprise. But before she could say anything, Queen Elizabeth turned to me, her voice calm but full of curiosity. "Hephaestus is your father?" she asked, tilting her head slightly. "What do you mean by that?"

Before I could answer, there was a sudden surge of divine energy in the room, and I knew who had arrived even before I turned around. My father Zeus, mothers Hera and Artemis, and my other soulmate, Zoe Nightshade, all materialized before us.

Artemis stepped forward, her gaze softening as she addressed Queen Elizabeth. "It's true, Your Majesty. Harry is not just a mortal, nor just the child of Lily and James Potter. He is the son of gods. I explained this to his parents when I last saw them, the day they asked for my blessing to protect him."

Hermione's mouth was slightly open in awe, but she quickly composed herself. The Queen, however, kept her poise, through her eyes betrayed her surprise.

"And what about Lily and James?" Queen Elizabeth asked, her voice steady but carrying the weight of a thousand unasked questions.

Hecate appeared then, stepping into the room with a serene smile. She held a piece of parchment in her hand, her presence commanding respect as always. "Lily and James Potter were indeed Harry's parents by blood," she began, her voice calm but clear. "But a powerful unknown Titan and goddess intervened in his fate, weaving his destiny in a way that kept him alive… and kept him looking like Lily and James."

She extended the parchment toward me, and I recognized the Gringotts Wizarding Bank seal on it. It was a DNA test. As I glanced at it, the truth solidified in my mind. Lily and James were my parents by blood, but the magic that tied me to the divine was what had kept me alive.

Before anyone could ask more questions, the ground beneath us shifted slightly, and the floor opened up. From the depths of the earth, a radiant figure emerged, her very presence filling the room with warmth and power.

Rhea.

She walked toward us with grace and purpose, her smile soft but knowing. The air hummed with her energy as she approached me, her eyes locking onto mine with a mix of sadness and pride.

"I did this," she said, her voice gentle but strong. "I did it to my grandson alive, weaving my magic into his very being. But I didn't know it would take him away from you all… Artemis, Hestia, Zeus…" She paused, a flicker of regret passing through her eyes. "I saw the potential in him, the good he could do in the world. Something my ex-husband, Cronus, would have destroyed if he could. And yes, I do mean ex-husband. I tried to find the good in him, but no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find it."

She knelt before me then, her gaze softening even more as she gently cupped my cheek. Her touch was warm, filled with love and tenderness. "But you, my grandson… you are that good. I wanted to protect that, as any grandmother would. If you'll have me as your grandmother, I'll be your unseen protector, always."

Her words hit me deep, and I felt the truth in them. Rhea, the mother of gods, wanted to protect me, not just as a goddess, but as a grandmother. A feeling of warmth spread through me, and without hesitation, I threw my arms around her, feeling her strength and love envelop me.

"I would love that, Grandmother," I whispered, the words spilling out from my heart.

She smiled, her eyes glistening with emotion as she held me close. There was no doubt in my mind...this was my family. Gods, goddesses, soul mates… and now, a grandmother who had protected me away from the shadows.

I glanced over at Queen Elizabeth, who watched us with quiet understanding. The connection between the mortal and divine was now clear, and with it, the bonds that had been forged between all of us.

This was only the beginning.
