Chapter 3 - The Long Prologue: Castiel's Tale (Final part)

Most people believe the story ends here.

They believe they live in a godless world—drifting, meaningless, alone.

They couldn't be more wrong.

My name is Castiel Horn, and I'm here to tell you: the war isn't over. Not by a long shot.

I was one of the first humans to ever walk the terrain of Earth.

On the night the gods clashed—when the stars trembled and the sky cracked—a fragment of the shattered crystal fell from the heavens.

It never touched the ground.

It touched me.

The shard embedded itself in my chest, burrowing straight into my heart. I believe I died that night... but the crystal wouldn't let me.

It fused with me.

It granted me life anew.

Power. Knowledge. Sight beyond comprehension.

And a curse.

Immortality.

I've watched empires rise and crumble. I've seen civilizations rewrite their history to erase the divine. They believe the gods are myths. That creation was an accident.

They are wrong.

I have seen the future—visions of flame and madness.

A time when the demons rise, and Hell unseals its creator. When Yang walks free, and darkness drowns all stars.

And so, I've taken up the burden.

My mission is clear: to gather the Twelve Zodiacs—the celestial guardians scattered across time and space—and deliver one message:

Resurrect God.

It's the only way to prevent the end.

The only hope left in this crumbling reality."
