Light and shadow twisted, brilliant colors streaming past—it was a dizzying spatial transition.
Tsunade lost consciousness, and by the time she awoke, she found herself lying in a guest room. The bed and furnishings around her were entirely different in style from the shinobi world.
A light-blue screen suddenly appeared in front of her.
[Current World: One Piece]
Humanity, long ruled by the World Government, has tense relations with the Fishmen and Merfolk of Fishman Island.
Due to deep-rooted prejudice and ignorance, humans discriminate against the Fishmen and Merfolk. The ruling elite—the Celestial Dragons—go as far as purchasing slaves of various races through traffickers, including Fishmen.
As the so-called "Holy Land," Mariejois has become the largest hub of slave activity in the world.
[Main Mission I: Eliminate the guards and liberate the slaves imprisoned in Mariejois within 3 days.
Reward: 2,000 points per participant.
Failure: Deduct 1,000 points per person. If insufficient, system will forcibly reclaim equipment; still insufficient = Erasure.]
[Main Mission II: Not yet unlocked.]
"So, we really have entered another world…" Tsunade muttered darkly, her expression grim. "This 'Lord God'… really is terrifyingly powerful."
The more powerful the Lord God was, the harder it would be to break free of its control.
She had already exchanged points yesterday to preview this mission, but what shocked her was not the content—it was that she had actually been transported to another universe.
Just then, a slight rustle came from the side. Tsunade turned and saw Orochimaru calmly seated on a nearby chair, pale and expressionless.
"Yo."
Tsunade nodded, unsurprised.
Both she and Orochimaru had already anticipated a new mission. While browsing the Lord God's exchange panel, they discovered an extremely useful item:
[Squad Contract:
Upon use, under the Lord God's witness, binds up to three Reincarnators into a temporary squad.
All missions are shared.
Attacking squadmates triggers a 30% stat penalty for 7 days.
Killing a squadmate causes permanent stat loss.]
This was something Nawaki had intentionally added to the system shop for 3,000 points—points he had forcefully claimed from Tsunade and Orochimaru during their enhancements.
Items Nawaki personally added to the exchange system gave him 100% profit when sold. His strategy was to aim for high volume and low margin—he priced the Squad Contract at just 500 points so newer, weaker Reincarnators could afford it.
He also had a more advanced Team Contract for larger groups, but since the number of Reincarnators was still small, he hadn't made that one available yet.
Because Tsunade and Orochimaru had already formed a squad via the contract, their appearance together was to be expected.
But then—an unexpected voice rang out.
"Eh? Tsunade? Orochimaru? What are you guys doing here? Wait, where is here? Lord God? One Piece world? Missions? What the hell is going on?!"
Both Tsunade and Orochimaru whipped their heads around—
—and saw a white-haired man crawling out from under the bed, wearing a bewildered expression.
"I swear, just a moment ago I was still in the Land of Rain with my adorable students!"
"…Jiraiya?!"
Tsunade's jaw dropped. She had personally tested it—Jiraiya wasn't a Reincarnator!
But judging by his words… could it be that he had just been recruited?
Orochimaru chuckled. "Well, now we're all here."
Jiraiya's eyes lit up with realization as he pointed at the two of them and burst out laughing.
"Ha! Now you two can't sneak off and have fun without me anymore!"
"…."
Tsunade and Orochimaru fell silent. Veins twitched on their foreheads.
Watching through the system interface, Nawaki nearly burst out laughing. No matter how old he got, Jiraiya would always be a clown.
This mission had cost Nawaki 3,000 points to acquire three [Reincarnation Talismans], transporting the three Sannin into the One Piece world. His goal wasn't just to train them—but also to profit.
Sure, Mission I didn't yield him much, but the real gains were planned for Mission II.
The Reincarnation Talisman had another function—it allowed Nawaki to set the time dilation. While Tsunade and the others would spend 7 days in the One Piece world, back in the Naruto world, no time would pass.
Only Nawaki, by sending in his consciousness, could monitor the mission's finer details in real time.
After giving Jiraiya a crash course on the Lord God System, Tsunade instructed him to upload some of his ninjutsu techniques. Then, she purchased another Squad Contract to link all three of them.
(Note: The Squad Contract is a consumable item—each member must use one.)
Low margin, high volume—that was Nawaki's motto.
Once Jiraiya was fully onboard, the system voice rang out in a cold, emotionless tone—transformed by Nawaki into the default Lord God prompt:
[Mission timer initiated. Prepare to deploy.]
The trio exchanged glances and walked out of the room.
They had briefly discussed the main challenge: time.
They needed to quickly determine what kind of world they were in, locate the slave prison, assess the strength of the guards, and formulate a plan.
Three days wasn't much, but it was doable.
A spark of confidence flashed in Tsunade's eyes. Her strength hadn't come easy—she'd completed countless difficult missions. Reconnaissance? Child's play.
But the moment they stepped outside, the Three Sannin froze in astonishment.
They found themselves in a dreamlike city suspended among the clouds. Pristine white stone tiles lined the streets, and elegant Western-style buildings with blue rooftops and white walls stretched into the distance. Well-dressed citizens strolled past, some walking pets.
It was a stunning contrast to the semi-rustic, shinobi-style architecture of the Hidden Villages.
Three ninja from the countryside were utterly dumbfounded.
Honestly, the description wasn't even out of place—it felt earned.
"I used to think Konoha was the most prosperous of the Five Great Nations," Tsunade murmured. "Now I see—I've been a frog at the bottom of a well."
But her competitive spirit rose instantly.
Someday, she would make Konoha surpass even this place.
"No wonder they call it a Holy Land," Orochimaru said, glancing up. "That castle… must be our target."
Through the veil of mist, he spotted a massive castle towering at the center.
Compared to it, all the surrounding buildings looked like modest huts.
"Whoever lives up there must be the so-called Celestial Dragons… heh, seems like nobles are arrogant no matter which world you go to," Orochimaru smirked coldly.
He had never had any love for the elite.
