The playback on the screen continued.
"I want a really cool, really big robot! One that can walk and shoot missiles and everything!" Nobita whined.
But facing Nobita's pleading, Doraemon remained expressionless.
"It's so hot! Shoo, go away!"
Seeing Doraemon refuse, Nobita promptly threw himself on the floor and started rolling around, throwing a full-blown tantrum. The scorching weather was already making Doraemon irritable, and Nobita's antics now made him completely lose his cool.
He roared in anger.
"You're SO NOISY!!!"
"You have a robot like me, and you're still not satisfied?!"
"I'm going crazy here!"
With that, Doraemon whipped the Anywhere Door out of his pocket, set the destination for the North Pole, and with a parting, "I'm going to cool off!" he vanished before Nobita's eyes.
"Hey, Doraemon!"
The next second, Nobita slapped on a Hopter, yanked open the Anywhere Door, and zoomed off in search of Doraemon.
A few minutes later, on a vast ice floe, Nobita finally spotted a blue shadow.
"Hee hee, gotcha!"
But when Nobita took a closer look, he froze, dumbfounded.
That wasn't Doraemon at all!
It was clearly a blue bowling ball.
But what he didn't expect was...
The next moment, this "bowling ball" suddenly began to flash with light.
Startled, Nobita flung the ball away.
Instantly, Nobita felt the world around him dim considerably. He looked up, and his eyes widened in terror.
Somehow, a swirling space-time vortex had appeared above his head! Not only that, but a massive object seemed to be plummeting towards him from within the vortex.
"AHHHHH!!!"
In the nick of time, Nobita reacted, propelling himself forward with all his might. If he'd been a few seconds later, he would have been squashed into a pulp by the enormous object.
Finally, after a series of bizarre accidents, Nobita returned home, bringing the little blue sphere and the massive thing that had nearly turned him into paste.
Just as Nobita was about to investigate what this blue sphere actually was...
CRASH!!!
A deafening bang resounded.
Nobita looked towards the backyard. Holy moly, another huge thing had fallen from the sky!
Suddenly, looking at the outlines of these two massive objects, something clicked in Nobita's mind.
No way!!! If you put these two things together... aren't they a robot's legs?!
In that instant, it all made sense to Nobita. That little blue sphere must be like a signal receiver, drawing the robot parts together.
Aha! So Doraemon might say he's annoyed with me, but deep down, he's still willing to help me out!
Clearly, Nobita had credited Doraemon with the appearance of these robot parts.
...
Real world, Nobita's home.
Seeing such enormous robot parts crash-land right into her yard, Tamako Nobi's face immediately flushed with anger.
"That Nobita! What if he accidentally wrecks the house?! No, when he gets back, I'm going to give him a good scolding!!"
"And Doraemon, really! What's he thinking, getting Nobita such huge robot parts?"
Seeing his wife fuming, Nobita's dad tried to soothe her. "Now, now, don't be angry. You know what Nobita's like. Besides, giant robots are a boy's ultimate dream! It's normal for Nobita to like them!"
...
Meanwhile, back at school.
"Holy cow!"
"Just one part is that big! If you assemble the whole thing, that robot would be taller than a skyscraper!"
"Nobita, you lucky dog! You're actually going to pilot a Gundam!"
Exclamations of amazement filled the air.
Nobita felt a little embarrassed hearing all this.
Doraemon, however, standing nearby, felt increasingly uneasy the more he looked. He couldn't recall ever having such robot parts in his fourth-dimensional pocket.
Still, he didn't dwell on it. Perhaps it was something I bought for Nobita during a future department store sale, he mused. Best to just keep watching.
...
Returning to the video playback.
Before long, Doraemon returned home. But the moment he arrived, he was stunned by the sight of the giant robot parts.
"What is this?! Where did you get it from?!"
Nobita looked puzzled. "Didn't you send it?"
"No, I didn't!"
"I don't know what this thing is!"
"..."
As the two were talking…
CRASH!!!!
Another thunderous noise came from outside the window.
Unsurprisingly, it was another giant robot part.
Just then, Nobita brought out the little blue sphere. "Doraemon, listen! I found this little ball at the North Pole. All these robot parts are being teleported here through this!"
Initially, Doraemon wanted Nobita to return the robot parts to their rightful owner. However, after Nobita's persistent wheedling, Doraemon agreed to let him assemble the robot and play with it for a while first. To be honest, even Doraemon had never played with such a massive robot before!
Given the robot's utterly impractical size, Doraemon thoughtfully took out two gadgets.
[Mirror World Entry Oil: Just spread this on any reflective surface, like a mirror, and it opens a passage to the Mirror World!]
[Roll-Up Fishing Pond: This can serve as a perfect, large mirror!]
Soon, after some tinkering by Doraemon, Nobita and Doraemon successfully entered the Mirror World.
However, just as they were trying to move the robot parts into the Mirror World, the little blue sphere, which had been tossed aside, quietly activated its scanning function, accurately recording Nobita's face.
Seeing the silent, lifeless Mirror World, completely devoid of any living beings, Nobita was so happy he could have flown.
Here, at least, I won't bother anyone else!!
The thought of being able to control a giant robot and play as much as he wanted here made Nobita ecstatic to the extreme.
But he quickly thought of something and asked Doraemon, "How far does this world extend?"
Doraemon smiled gently. "As far as you can imagine! It can be just like our own world, stretching all the way to the other side of the globe!"
...
Mecha Utopia.
Hearing Doraemon's words, Riruru's pupils contracted, an expression of profound shock appearing on her face.
She had initially assumed this so-called "Mirror World" would be, at most, the size of a soccer field. She never imagined it could actually extend to the other side of the world!
Then this… wasn't this equivalent to an entirely new, complete world?
Seeing this, the way she looked at Doraemon completely changed.
This chubby, blue robotic cat… he was ridiculously powerful!
Casually pulling small gadgets from his pocket… he could actually create an entire world in an instant!
Terrifying! Absolutely terrifying!
...
Not just Riruru, but everyone watching this scene gained an entirely new understanding of Doraemon!
"No freakin' way! Is that ditzy blue raccoon-cat really that strong?!"
"I knew something was off! That raccoon-cat seems to be a robot, but how could modern technology possibly be this advanced?!"
"Exactly! And that door that lets him travel between worlds—there's no way that's from our era!"
"Wait a minute… could it be that this raccoon-cat is from the future?"
"It sounds a bit out there, but I think it's highly possible!!"
"What the hell! If this cat-robot is so OP, someone drop a link! I'm buying one and taking over the world!!!"
"Dude, with your measly 3k-a-month salary, I'm afraid even if there was a link, you couldn't afford it!"
"Err, you might have a point there!"
