For months, Leo worked. He gathered old metal parts, wires, and tools from around his village. With help from the village mechanic, he built a small spaceship. It wasn't big or fast, but it was enough for one brave boy.
His parents worried, but Leo promised to be careful. One clear night, under the light of a thousand stars, Leo climbed into the cockpit.
"Good luck, Leo," his grandfather said, waving.
Leo pressed the buttons, and the ship lifted off. The village grew smaller and smaller until it was just a tiny dot below.
