(And we see that Goku is completely shocked upon hearing the word 'Kakarot.')
(He says.)
Goku: "What? Who just called me Kakarot? Other than Vegeta, no one ever calls me that."
(As Goku turns around, he is completely stunned and says.)
Goku: "Hey... who are you? You... you look exactly like me!"
(We then see the man, who asks.)
???: "Is your name Kakarot?"
(To which Goku replies.)
Goku: "Yeah... you could say that. My Earth name is Goku, but my Saiyan name is Kakarot."
(Hearing this, the man immediately comes forward and hugs Goku tightly.)
(Goku is shocked by this, and then he asks.)
Goku: "Will you please tell me… who exactly are you?"
(The man replies.)
Bardock: "Of course, Kakarot. Let me tell you my name is Bardock, and you... you are my son, Kakarot."
(Hearing this, Goku's eyes suddenly fill with tears.)
(He becomes overwhelmed with emotion and says.)
Goku: "W-What? Are you really... my father, Bardock?"
(After that, we see Bardock telling Goku everything how he placed Goku inside a time capsule and sent him to Planet Earth.)
(Hearing this, Goku says.)
Goku: "It's really a wonderful thing that I got to meet you. But now I understand why the Grand Priest sent me here."
(In response, we see Bardock smile with joy and say.)
Bardock: "So Kakarot, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?"
(To this, Goku begins telling Bardock everything how he grew up since childhood, who trained him, about all the gods he met, the Tournament of Power, and even about himself how he achieved the Super Saiyan form and eventually gained god-level powers.)
(Hearing all this, Bardock becomes very happy, but then he says.)
Bardock: "Listening to all of this brings me great joy, but there's still one thing I'm very upset with you about, Kakarot."
(Goku replies.)
Goku: "What? But about what, Dad? Please tell me clearly."
(Bardock then says.)
Bardock: "I'm upset with you because you left something unfinished. Have you forgotten... Frieza? When I was taking my final breaths... when I fought Frieza for the last time when he destroyed Planet Vegeta I saw a small dream in my final moments. In that dream, I saw my son, Kakarot, becoming a Super Saiyan and nearly defeating Frieza. But you didn't kill him. That's the question I want to ask you, Kakarot: Why? Why did you let Frieza live?"
(Hearing this, Goku says.)
Goku: "What? You knew all of this already, Dad? But I thought you were gone... that you were in some kind of heaven. How do you know all of this?"
(To this, we see Bardock reply.)
Bardock: "That's a very big secret, Kakarot whether we are dead or still alive. The multiverse knows very little about us Saiyans. There are many things that are better left as secrets... at least for now."
(To this, Goku says.)
Goku: "Yes, Dad... That's exactly why I came here because I want to learn everything about the Saiyans. What is the secret that has been hidden about us Saiyans for generations? That's why I'm here."
(Hearing this, Bardock smiles and says.)
Bardock: "To tell you the truth, even I don't know everything. But... there is someone, someone who can tell you the full history of the Saiyans. However, I don't think that person is ready to meet you right now... or reveal all the secrets. But... would you still want to know, Kakarot?"
(Hearing this, Goku says.)
Goku: "What? But who is this person who wouldn't want to meet me... and who knows everything about the Saiyan's history? Please tell me, Dad! I've done so much just to learn the truth about the Saiyan history!"
(To this, Bardock replies.)
Bardock: "Goku, close your eyes."
(Goku then closes his eyes, and suddenly, he hears a mysterious voice.)
???: No... this is not the right time, Goku..."
(Goku immediately opens his eyes and says.)
Goku: "W-What?! Whose voice was that, Dad?"
(Hearing this, Bardock smiles and says.)
Bardock: "In time, you'll understand everything. And yes, when the time is right, you'll learn the full truth about all of us Saiyans, Kakarot. But there's one thing I want to tell you now The one who destroyed our Planet Vegeta... was none other than Frieza."
(Goku replies.)
Goku: "Yes, Dad, I already know about that."
(To this, Bardock says.)
Bardock: "But you don't know the whole story. Frieza didn't act alone... Someone told him to destroy Planet Vegeta."
(Hearing this, Goku says in shock.)
Goku: "What? Someone gave Frieza the order to destroy Planet Vegeta? But... who could it be?"
(Bardock then smiles and says.)
Bardock: "It was none other than the God of Destruction of our universe."
(As soon as he says this, we see Bardock completely vanish from the scene.)
(Suddenly, Goku regains consciousness and finds himself standing once again before the Grand Priest and Grand Zeno.)
(Goku is still trying to process everything he just learned, and at that moment, Zeno says.)
Zeno: "Goku, now you must have learned everything... at least, everything you wished to know."
(We see the Grand Priest staring intensely at Goku, and at that moment, Goku thinks to himself.)
Goku [in mind]: "No... what exactly did Dad mean by all that? I can't tell them about it..."
(Then Goku says aloud.)
Goku: "I still have to find out everything... but thank you, Grand Priest, and Grand Zeno, for telling me so much. So, I'll take my leave now. I may not have learned much about the full history of the Saiyans... but I'm happy that I got to meet my dad."
(Saying this, Goku walks away from there.)
(And then we see that suddenly Zeno stops laughing, and at that moment, the Grand Priest says.)
Grand Priest: "lord Zeno, is this really the right thing? I don't think Goku should know what actually happened with the Saiyans."
(To which Zeno replies.)
Zeno: "I know... we shouldn't let Goku find out everything. But if we had tried to stop him, he would've just found another way... and you know what that could lead to."
(The Grand Priest then says.)
Grand Priest: "But I have a feeling... that Goku has definitely learned something, something he's hiding from us."
(At that moment, we see that Zeno doesn't say anything and remains silent.)
(Meanwhile, as Goku is walking away, he says to himself.)
Goku: "So it was Lord Beerus who ordered the destruction of Planet Vegeta... I can't believe all of this. I need to go to someone else."
(We then see Goku suddenly flying off at high speed toward another location.)
(Just then, Frieza's spaceship appears in front of him.)
(The moment he sees it, Goku powers up and destroys Frieza's spaceship in a single blow.)
(He then grabs Frieza, who is completely confused and unable to understand what is happening.)
(And then Goku says to Frieza.)
Goku: "I want to know something from you, Frieza. Answer me directly or else, you know exactly what I can do to you."
(Hearing this, Frieza replies.)
Frieza: "Heh... What's gotten into you, monkey? What do you want to ask?"
(To this, Goku firmly says.)
Goku: "Tell me on whose orders did you destroy Planet Vegeta?"
(Hearing that, Frieza is completely shocked.)
(He becomes very nervous and thinks to himself.)
Frieza [in mind]: "What?! How did he find out about that? No... I can't say anything. If I do, Lord Beerus will destroy me."
(After hearing that, Frieza says.)
Frieza: "What do you think? That I take orders from someone, monkey? I destroyed your Saiyan planet on my own!"
(Hearing this, Goku lands a powerful punch on Frieza, making him spit blood.)
(And then Goku says.)
Goku: "I'm not in the mood for jokes right now, Frieza. My own people have turned away from me. None of my friends are talking to me. Lord Beerus has even forbidden me from approaching him. Only I know what's going on inside me right now. I've done everything possible for my friends up to this point... and now they treat me like this. So I'm asking you one last time... who ordered it?"
(Upon hearing that, Frieza says.)
Frieza: "Yes, you're absolutely right... it was Lord Beerus who ordered me to destroy Planet Vegeta. But... you won't tell him I gave you his name, Saiyan."
(Right after saying that, Goku throws Frieza far away with great force.)
(And then Goku says.)
Goku: "Alright then, Lord Beerus... it seems we still have unfinished business. I've met my father... but I still don't know everything about the history of the Saiyans. And now, I also know what you all have been doing behind my back. So I'm coming, Lord Beerus."
(After that, we see Master Roshi looking up at the sky and saying.)
Master Roshi: "I don't know why everyone is treating Goku so badly... even Lord Beerus and Whis. Goku has done so much for all of us. If it weren't for him, maybe none of us would even be here today. Everything he did during the Tournament of Power... he did it only for us. We've only ever seen Goku's cheerful and playful side... but what would happen if he ever tapped into his dark side? Goku... to be honest, sometimes I really worry about you. But I also have complete faith in you."
(However, Master Roshi has no idea what's really going on inside Goku right now…)
