The day before the wedding, Lu visited the venue. When he arrived, Liang and Zhichen were already there, busy decorating.
"Zhichen," Lu said, "can you use more peonies, chrysanthemums, and—especially—China asters? That should be the highlight of our wedding."
Zhichen gave a thumbs-up. "Don't worry, I've got it all under control."

👰 Wedding Day
I wore my wedding dress, but my hands wouldn't stop shaking. Liang, checking my outfit, suddenly took my hand.
"Qin," she asked seriously, "did you do something wrong?"
I shot her an annoyed look.
She smirked. "Then why are your hands trembling like this?"
I let out a soft breath. "Liang, when you get married, you'll understand this feeling."
Liang blushed, lightly tapping my chest. "Well, Zhichen will take care of that," she said with a shy smile.
I stared at her in disbelief before both of us burst out laughing.

Meanwhile, Lu was getting ready. He stood tall and composed, but there was a sparkle of nervous excitement in his eyes as he waited at the altar.
The ceremony began. Guests filled the space with applause and cheers.
I walked down the aisle between Liang's mother and Lu's mother. As we reached the altar, they both gently placed my hand into Lu's and said, "Take care of her like your life."
Tears welled up in my eyes.
Lu smiled and pulled me closer, guiding me gently to stand opposite him.
We exchanged vows, our voices trembling with emotion.
Then, suddenly—Liang appeared with my kindergarten cuties. They were holding roses in their tiny hands, walking shyly toward me.
The moment I saw them, my eyes widened in shock. I ran to them, kneeling and pulling them into a tight hug.
Lu's voice cracked slightly. "Your cuties… they've grown up, Qin."
I smiled with teary eyes. "What are you doing here, little ones?"
They hesitated, peeking shyly from behind the roses. Liang came forward with a smile. "When they heard you were getting married, they begged me to bring them along."
My heart swelled.
One by one, they handed us the roses and whispered, "Teacher… and Dr. Lu… happy marriage~" Their tiny voices faded out in shy giggles.
Lu and I knelt down to hug them together.
Then Lu stood up and walked to Zhichen. From behind Zhichen's back, he retrieved a bouquet.
He returned to me and tapped my shoulder.
I stood up and turned—only to find Lu kneeling.
He revealed the bouquet—China asters, glowing in soft pastel hues.
"Qin," he said softly, "will you be my wife… and my everything~?"
Tears filled my eyes as I nodded with a wide smile.
He stood, pulled me by the waist, and kissed me.
Cheers erupted. Flowers rained down on us like blessings from the heavens.

It was time for the bouquet toss.
I turned around and threw it high.
Liang caught it.
I spun around in surprise, seeing her frozen, bouquet in hand.
She hesitated, then took a deep breath, turned toward Zhichen, and walked up to him.
"Zhichen," she said, voice trembling but brave, "will you marry me~?"
Zhichen's face turned bright red, and the crowd screamed in excitement—including me.
With a sudden boldness, Zhichen grabbed her close and kissed her in answer.
The cheers grew louder.

🌸 🌸🌸
When I was lonely, I felt like no one was truly there for me.Even though I had Liang and her family, there was still an emptiness… until I met Zheng Lu.He taught me that being with someone who truly loves you can make you stronger… and wiser.
I once blamed myself for my parents' death.
But Lu stayed—patiently, gently—convincing me, helping me overcome my PTSD, and showing me the power of healing love.
I used to believe happy endings only existed in books.
But maybe… in the time of blossom,
I bloomed too.
